Do not go here!!!!!! Do not go here!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! If I could I would give this place ZERO stars. I paid 180$ for them to wash everything. They did a ok job until I found streaks and dirt on the steering wheel and parts of the car. It looks like they used dirty water and a dirty towel to wipe everything down. They also ruined the drivers seat. Which now has a hole in it. I will never come back here again. The entire wash took over two hours.... For taking so long they did a real shitty job. The biggest waste of 180$ ever! Also a waste of time because the job was done so poorly ... Do your self a favor and go else where read more

I always see a huge Conga line for this car wash. I though to myself I must be missing out on a terrific car wash experience. I know the reviews are mixed and more negative than positive, but I wanted to try it out for myself. Unfortunately, the unflattering reviews are pretty spot on about this place. They are way pricier than other car washes in the area, but the draw here is they hand wash your vehicle, but can you imagine how tiring the person can get hand washing a car, let alone hand washing literally an endless conveyer belt of filthy cars and suv's. They are bound to miss a spot or two, or three, or four, or five, or six, or ........ you see where I'm going with this. I knew once they started to clean my rims I was going to be in trouble. The guy cleaning the rims on the right hand side dipped his brush in a bucket of murky water with no suds, could they be using a High efficiency detergent? NOPE! The other guy on the left dipped his brush into a bucket of sudsy water. Once my car was rinsed and towel dried. They assigned one guy to give it a final wipe down inside and out. The person I had was pretty good as he saw many missed spots and cleaned up my car the best he can. I saw other cars that had many areas that were still dirty. I love the whole concept of hand washing, but this business model suffers since the sheer volume of cars and people working can't support the workload. Overall, I give it A-plus for the effort with a D minus on the final rollout 2000 washes is flawed with 2000 reasons not to go back. read more

Went for an exterior car wash. Did not need a hand wash bcuz I Was in a rush. The wait was bearable. Got the job done in a fashionable time and came out nice. The price is a bit high compared to other car wash. Overall, not a bad experience. read more

Such a shame... this place used to be absolutely amazing. It was the best car wash around. It's been bad, worse, and now terrible. I usually wash my own car, I am super picky about the products I use and the materials I choose....but used to always come here when I had a cheaper car I didn't care too much about. However, the cold weather, road salt, and mess in my car made me decide that I just needed a quick car wash. $33.00 later plus a $10 tip, I get into my car and it literally looks like it had not even been cleaned. Avoid this place it's a waste of money, and time. The only positive is, they remember me and always give me a warm welcome... like I said, I used to come here weekly. Look at the pics of my car, they should say all you need to know about the quality of their work. read more

Horrible experience, usually always thought this was a good car wash way back then , but not the workers seem to not care . I brought my car for a full service exterior wash and had to dry the car my self due to the fact that when they told me my car was ready it was still covered in water and soap all Over ! This green water was all over the car and wasn't dried . After looking at my rims I'm very disappointed I pay more for a non automatic car wash for many reasons , especially thinking I'm going to receive a higher then normal Quality wash . I was very disappointed won't see me back here . read more

Awful. The car actually came out with dirt on it. I've never seen that in my 25 years of driving. Rush rush when it comes out of the machines. Windows were still streaked, wheels practically untouched. Fought the charge with my credit card and I never do that. read more

Detailed two cars. Superior job inside and out. More reasonable than most places in this area

Probably the worst car wash places in Queens, maybe even in NYC. Car was not properly washed and cleaned and had to call of the employees over to show them physically that even the interior was still dirty along with the outside of the car. The package I bought was the Elite service which they charge $44 but it looked like a $10 service. I dont even know if they even waxed it well besides them putting on tire shine. Then they proceed to say that the car needs detailing because of pollen on my hood? Their machines and people barely do the job right. Not to mention the interior window cleaning, my front wind shield had smudges and its still dirty. I figured even after showing it to them I'd just give up because I'm not going to teach them how to do their job if they can't even get it right the first time around. Please do yourselves a favor and go to a different place. There's lots. I ONLY went here because this was my first time and figured why not. But never again. This place is horrible and it will only stay in business because people still either not read reviews or just not care at all. Close this place down because its just taking up space. Absolutely useless of a car wash. read more

I honestly feel like it depends on which day you go and who's working on what day. Granted some times they do a shitty jobs but other times its spotless clean! I rate this 50/50 just because I don't really pay attention who's working on which date to rate them. But overall it's close by and I can't really complain cause I haven't a horrible experience... read more

2000 Hand Car Wash - Wrong hours posted. - Car Wash Near Me - Fresh Meadows, New York

I brought my car here to have my car detailed. My wife and I are expecting our first newborn any day now and we wanted to make sure the interior of the car was free of dirt, dust, and dog hair. I had called the day before to get some quotes and was told to bring the car early in the morning to avoid having to leave it over night. When I arrived, I was told that it was too cold to do any detail work, so I left. Understandable, I think? So then I returned today, it's about 48°F, not too cold, and instead I asked, knowing that it's "too cold" to do a full detail job, if they could just vacuum the whole interior and wipe down the leather interior and the door panels. The manager/owner refused to do any such work and sent me on my way. I would not recommend this business to anyone. They are not accommodating in any way, shape or form. I feel bad for the employees working there. They were ready to get to work on my car and make some money for their heartless boss. Message to the owner: You could've charged me $100 for a half-assed detail job and I would have paid it gladly. You turn away 20 people like me a day for a year, that's $730,000.00/yr on lost business. read more

The people who gave this place one star have been going to this place for years and never gave them a good review. The one day this business has a minor mishap, they get on yelp and condemn the place by giving them one star. And I will bet my last dollar that they're back at this same business the next time they need a wash. Why? Because they're great. There's a reason you wait on a long line to get into this place. They get the job done and do a great one. If you're too weak and feeble minded to say no to a certain package they suggest, then it's your fault. It's their job to suggestive sell. Now that I'm done venting about the pansies, let me tell you. This place does an excellent job cleaning your car not missing a spot. They do this 99% of the time and don't complain. They do it quickly as well all by hand. On this day I picked the elite package and observed these guys inside my trunk cleaning all the way inside. Great job. read more

Recently went in to have my car washed. My daughter is 3 and is autistic.. pulled up at 7:50am I was the only car for a few minutes.. car went through I waited inside the shop area with my daughter, it is challenging at times I worry if she will be afraid, she is sensitive to sounds but we try to adapt her and show her it's ok and I thought we'd wait in the store and she would be distracted anyway. Around 8:25 I really did not expect the wash to take longer then maybe 15 minutes but seemed like my car was just sitting there doors open but all the workers were cleaning other cars so I went out hoping my car was done but soon as I went out one guy out of about 10 started cleaning my car again I thought how much longer could it be so I just stood there holding my daughter she started to get fussy and that's when I noticed the cigarette smoking no teeth in is mouth employee of the car was laughing at me and staring right at me so I shouted what is so funny he said "her why is she crying"? I responded you mean my daughter she's a kid, haven't you ever seen a kid cry before and she is autistic so have a heart don't stare and laugh I could laugh at you with no teeth in your mouth she has more teeth then you, basically if your a parent don't go here charged me $75 to have some loser make fun of my child, any parent with children know they could be afraid and get fussy waiting I will never return to this place and tell everyone I know I'm queens to not use this business read more

My boyfriend went here I told him it's $34 and they charged him $60! it wasn't until I got with the man on the phone and asked him why was he over charging my boyfriend? Then all of a sudden they changed the price to $34 a bunch of crooks!!!!!! read more

I was there on Thursday . When my car came out to dry, there were 2 guys to wipe my car down to dry. One guy ( I believe he was African) barely wiped if off and literally sat down and smoked a cigarette while the other guy worked relentlessly to make sure my SUV looked good. I even said to the " smoker" you left the other guy to do all the work, he dud to care he just said " oh yeah?" and continued smoking his cigarette. In simple words just don't go there it's waste of time and money! I hardly go to car washes, most of the time i wash myself from gas station self service for 5$ and it clean 100x better than this place. And they have audacity to ask for gratuity after what kinda job they did. read more

Almost didn't go here because of the poor reviews but I'm glad I went to try it for myself first. I'm not sure what other car washes people go to, but every other car wash (especially automatic ones) I go to are terrible. This place actually put in the time and effort to reach every part of the car and clean it. I've been going to Smart Car Wash for a few years and it's the better of the automatic washes. But even there they just try to push you out of there ASAP and the car is not fully clean. This place really took a good 10-15 min with my car and left it fully clean. It's also ideal if you have non-factory items on your car that'll break in automatic washes because of the brushes. Yes the price tag is higher than regular car washes. I paid $30 here including tip whereas at other places it's around $20 max. But the extra $10 was worth every penny because of the quality clean I got from this place. Definitely consider going. read more

They left the inside dusty this is a new Maserati I brought there , they left rims filthy the person applying the armor all to tires put armor on everything other than the tire I did not move my car until they cleaned the car the way it was supposed to be and even after that they just didn't get it The guy was telling me it is the residue from the brakes ... I kept telling and showing him it is the dirt they left plus the armor all the worker put all over the rims POOR SERVICE ..POOR WASH ... If I can rate them 0 stars I would. I've been going here for years and have been slowly getting unhappy with the service here. This weekend was the last time I will return. My car was ready to be eaten by the salt residue and I just got a new car less than 3 months ago so of course I want to baby it and get ripped off for a hand wash exterior only on a sedan and front and back mats cleaned for $22 and they scratched my rim and managed to tear the tire. I of course notice it the day after so it's too late to go back and complain. Total disregard for your property and just plain sloppy. Now I need to get the rim repaired for $100+ and on top of that replace my Dunlop 18in tire which is at least $200. read more

I have certainly experienced better! Prices here are higher than most. At $19+ for a basic wash, I thought that this would mean that 2000 Hand does a "better" job than competing services. I found this to be untrue. With so many hands doing the same job (this place employs a huge number of people), they certainly missed many, many spots. The worst part: after drying your car, some guy takes your key but nobody tells you that you have to give your receipt over. I figured this out and finally gave him my receipt (which I realized was not even the right one after I got home!) and was asked "no tips today?" I told him that I had placed money into the tips box at the door, but was then told that it was "separate" for others in the front and back. I told him I didn't have any cash left and he said "okay, next time." No next time. I spent 3.5 hours cleaning the car by hand by myself after this "wash." A poor job was done in the interior; exterior was slightly better...but not worth $19+. Never. Ever. Again. read more

Just had my car washed there and it was terrible. They insisted the purchase of a higher level car wash when I clearly stated that it was not necessary. With the language barrier, I let it go since it was only a couple of dollars more. After the wash, I noticed that parts of my car were still dirty and asked for one of their cloths to wipe off myself. The worker, with an attitude, stated that he already wiped everything so I showed him what I meant and he said that the dirt was permanent and walked away. When I got home and used my own towel to wipe those spots, they came off. I will go somewhere else to get my car washed.
