Just found this local gem off Main st in Azle. They serve breakfast but we popped in on a Saturday for a quick taco. We were very impressed with the quality of the tacos. We had carne asada and chicken and then loaded up on all the toppings offered at the salsa bar. They have jalapeno, tomatillo, Chipotle and ghost pepper salsa to name a few. They also have onions, cilantro, pickled onions and other toppings. The tacos can be ordered with or without beans and rice. Both come with grilled onions and grilled Serrano peppers. Patio and inside dining available. Highly recommend. read more

My wife and I went here this evening. It was my first time here. My wife had been here before with my son and daughter-n-law. My wife ordered the #1 La Tortuga Mexicana. I tried a couple of street tacos which were good. But for me it was the Burrito Sencillo, which came with a bowl of meat, beans, rice, lettuce, tomato, and I added avacado. Very tasty and a good amount of food. They do have a small in door dining area and an out door dining area. read more

Very good street style taco's ! Everything is made fresh and taste is well worth the money ! Definitely the best tacos in town !

3rd or 4th time here. Overall, it's a pretty decent taco spot. Their menu is great, restaurant is clean and the customer service is pretty good. Inside the restaurant is always nice and cool to beat the summer temp which is a big plus. read more

We were out visiting Azle and saw Taco Tuesday sign.... $1.25 (normally $2.25 per taco) sadly they didn't do asada as an option. We ordered Chicken, carnitas and chips and guac. When we asked for chips and guac they weren't sure they had any made..... how?!? We love the option to have salsa, peppers/carrots, radishes, pineapple (?), coleslaw. When food arrived I could automatically see the chicken was not seasoned, and sure enough it was bland! Grilled onions were served on plate and had to go up and as onions and cilantro (not a big deal) but confused on grilled onions and no silver ware given you have to also grab that! The green salsa was nothing special - could use less lime and more spice. Peppers and carrots... there was one carrot so clearly need to keep better stock in having those available. Restaurant floor was dirty for having been open since 7 am it just didn't look like it had been mopped, tables were dirty and just overall could use an elevation inside. Wall decor great but lacking in ways. Closer options on ft Worth to get better tacos! read more

Nothing impressive. Smaller than street taco portions, no specific good flavors. Good but pricey for an average small taco

I'm new in town and decided I'd give this taco shop a try. The very first time I went I ordered a Huarache. I'm not going lie, It was decent. However, I did feel like it had very little chicken. The 2nd time I returned I ordered a chicken burrito and it barely had chicken again! As you can see it looked more like a wrap, full of lettuce. So I'm determined they're skimpy with their meats! I don't mind paying $10 for a burrito as long as it's good but "sprinkled chicken" no thanks. I also ordered a chicken taco and it was bland. no seasoning. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed, and don't think I'll return unless something changes. read more

If you're in the mood for some Mexican fast food, that outshines Taco Bell, this could... might... may be the place for you. Sorry though, no drive-thru. It's kind of hidden. It's on Stewart Street just south of the intersection with Main. This is the fourth time I've come to Main Street tacos in Azle Texas. Sounds like a lot, but things keep happening. The first time I just ordered two tacos and they were fine but I wasn't really sure what this place was all about. The second time they lost power as I was about to order. The third time I waited at the counter for the girl to finish telling her story to some unseen person, then when she finally finished, instead of taking my order she started telling the same story to another worker. At that point I just rolled my eyes and left. Finally, I found the time to get back. This is kind of a make it yourself place. There is a bar with a few veggies and some sauces. Not really my thing. It can get messy. The food itself is ok. It seems pretty authentic for fast food. The chicken has no seasoning but the beef does have a little. Not sure what I am missing with how they decide to season. They asked if I wanted cheese. I am not sure what world they live in, but the answer is always "yes". Unfortunately here the cheese action is weak. A few widely scattered little shredded cheese strands. I got my food then I had to go to the bar for sauce and what not. I prefer my food to be made when I get it. So overall the food tastes ok. It is not my thing but it is fine for a lunch. They do have a small outdoor seating area that is nice in the cooler weather. The service is a little hit or miss but it is something different. read more

We had dinner there Saturday with 8 of us. Loved it. Please don't pass the word around, might be too many people coming.

Great food! This place is legit, definitely wasn't expecting to find a gem in this area lol. I doubt there is a bad food item on the menu. I had both style chicken, tripas and brisket (really great) tacos. Rice is on point and salsas are perfect. read more

Best fixings bar to add on to your tacos. Nice clean place with indoor/outdoor seats and friendly service.

Very good food good service there brisket Tacos taste like a roast if they cook it in slow cooker than they need liquid smoke added. But over all very good. read more

A must-eat place on Taco Tuesdays. Delicious tacos, fries, and horchata. The service was very nice--kind people all around. The ambiance would be perfect if the place wasn't swarmed by flies, but you can combat this by eating outside. read more

Ordered 2 Birria tacos and loved loved loved them. Dad ordered El Gringo and he loved it too!!!

Was craving a guarrache. Arrived at 9:07, and was waved off by a young man cleaning up. He didn't even open the door to tell me. Really bummed, looks like a great place that just needs to adjust their hours to reduce risk of disappointment. Looking forward to adjusting this review when I get the chance to try it!! read more

Called in an order, she said it would be ready in 15, it's been 30 minutes and still not ready,

Very good tacos at a reasonable price. We went today for the first time. We will definitely be back

Love this place, Service is great the food amazing. Try all the things!!! The loaded fries ‍

I really love this Taqueria and am so happy they added an Azle location. The tortas, tacos, and huaraches are soooo good. I especially love the La Torta H. The restaurant is a little small inside, but there's also a cute patio for when the weather is good. Food comes out hot and is very fast and is very good for the price. read more

Husband and I visited Main St Tacos this Saturday morning. First time visitors and really enjoyed it. We had breakfast tacos, big portions & great taste! The sitting areas, both in and outside were clean and spacious! Husband and I will definitely be returning. They also have great deals on Taco Tuesdays! read more

We tried their breakfast tacos, which were very bland. I don't believe they used any seasoning at all on the eggs and potatoes. I figured this was likely a one time thing and the Cook simply forgot to add seasoning. Tried one more time a few months later, exact same issue. With there being a taqueria taxco now just down the road, I'll go there instead. read more

Main St Tacos is really good The chicken tacos are my favorite I don't like the cheesecake much, but the service is okay, I haven't been in a couple months so i don't know if it has changed, they really don't talk much. The outside area is good, but it's next to a busy street so there's usually smoke, and the inside has good tvs though I love the food! read more

My daughter took me here last Saturday to pick up some tacos to go. She had been telling me how good they were and how she could not get enough! I ordered the brisket street tacos. I ordered the dinner that comes with 3 street tacos, rice, beans, sauce and a drink for $9.99. Tea was amazing! I must say I have found my new addiction! Omg! These are the best street tacos I've ever had. The workers were so nice and patient. They were super busy and still did not take long to get our order. I will be back again and again! My new fav in Azle!! read more

Better than Taco Bell. Good tortillas. Waist of a great location. I hope they deepen the concept.

Heard good things from others who had eaten here. Great food! Authentic menu and super cute remodel job on the building. They've done a good job in branding and making the place feel fresh and new. Prices decent. Looking forward to coming back and trying more things from the menu! read more

The Mexican food there is legit. I love the Gorditas. The restaurant is nice and clean and the service was fantastic.

The tacos were very meh. My husband got a chicken and brisket tacos and it looks like they were boiled, and he said they were pretty flavorless. It was taco Tuesday, so they were only $1.25 a taco which isn't too bad. I got the teacher torta which was pretty good but pretty pricey for just a sandwich and no sides. The elote was decent but a little pricey as well for size of the small cup. It's a cute little restaurant and gives off authentic vibes. The salsa bar was a nice touch and had a good amount of heat to it. read more

The food here is good, the have variety and for being in Texas is a good Mexican food. Ordering inside is quick and the service is good. The only downside is if you calling in you may be put on hold and forgotten that has happened more then one occasion where I had to call back and then they took my order but if your put on hold they usually don't come back read more
