We were out visiting Azle and saw Taco Tuesday sign.... $1.25 (normally $2.25 per taco) sadly they didn't do asada as an option. We ordered Chicken, carnitas and chips and guac. When we asked for chips and guac they weren't sure they had any made..... how?!? We love the option to have salsa, peppers/carrots, radishes, pineapple (?), coleslaw. When food arrived I could automatically see the chicken was not seasoned, and sure enough it was bland! Grilled onions were served on plate and had to go up and as onions and cilantro (not a big deal) but confused on grilled onions and no silver ware given you have to also grab that! The green salsa was nothing special - could use less lime and more spice. Peppers and carrots... there was one carrot so clearly need to keep better stock in having those available. Restaurant floor was dirty for having been open since 7 am it just didn't look like it had been mopped, tables were dirty and just overall could use an elevation inside. Wall decor great but lacking in ways. Closer options on ft Worth to get better tacos! read more

I'm new in town and decided I'd give this taco shop a try. The very first time I went I ordered a Huarache. I'm not going lie, It was decent. However, I did feel like it had very little chicken. The 2nd time I returned I ordered a chicken burrito and it barely had chicken again! As you can see it looked more like a wrap, full of lettuce. So I'm determined they're skimpy with their meats! I don't mind paying $10 for a burrito as long as it's good but "sprinkled chicken" no thanks. I also ordered a chicken taco and it was bland. no seasoning. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed, and don't think I'll return unless something changes. read more

If you're in the mood for some Mexican fast food, that outshines Taco Bell, this could... might... may be the place for you. Sorry though, no drive-thru. It's kind of hidden. It's on Stewart Street just south of the intersection with Main. This is the fourth time I've come to Main Street tacos in Azle Texas. Sounds like a lot, but things keep happening. The first time I just ordered two tacos and they were fine but I wasn't really sure what this place was all about. The second time they lost power as I was about to order. The third time I waited at the counter for the girl to finish telling her story to some unseen person, then when she finally finished, instead of taking my order she started telling the same story to another worker. At that point I just rolled my eyes and left. Finally, I found the time to get back. This is kind of a make it yourself place. There is a bar with a few veggies and some sauces. Not really my thing. It can get messy. The food itself is ok. It seems pretty authentic for fast food. The chicken has no seasoning but the beef does have a little. Not sure what I am missing with how they decide to season. They asked if I wanted cheese. I am not sure what world they live in, but the answer is always "yes". Unfortunately here the cheese action is weak. A few widely scattered little shredded cheese strands. I got my food then I had to go to the bar for sauce and what not. I prefer my food to be made when I get it. So overall the food tastes ok. It is not my thing but it is fine for a lunch. They do have a small outdoor seating area that is nice in the cooler weather. Was craving a guarrache. Arrived at 9:07, and was waved off by a young man cleaning up. He didn't even open the door to tell me. I really love this Taqueria and am so happy they added an Azle location. The tortas, tacos, and huaraches are soooo good. I especially love the La Torta H. The restaurant is a little small inside, but there's also a cute patio for when the weather is good. Food comes out hot and is very fast and is very good for the price. read more

We tried their breakfast tacos, which were very bland. I don't believe they used any seasoning at all on the eggs and potatoes. I figured this was likely a one time thing and the Cook simply forgot to add seasoning. Tried one more time a few months later, exact same issue. With there being a taqueria taxco now just down the road, I'll go there instead. read more

My daughter took me here last Saturday to pick up some tacos to go. She had been telling me how good they were and how she could not get enough! I ordered the brisket street tacos. I ordered the dinner that comes with 3 street tacos, rice, beans, sauce and a drink for $9.99. Tea was amazing! I must say I have found my new addiction! Omg! These are the best street tacos I've ever had. The workers were so nice and patient. They were super busy and still did not take long to get our order. I will be back again and again! The menu is a little different but the staff are super patient and friendly while explaining what the different dishes are like. Husband had tacos and I had some sort of taco, sub-style. The tacos were very meh. My husband got a chicken and brisket tacos and it looks like they were boiled, and he said they were pretty flavorless. It was taco Tuesday, so they were only $1.25 a taco which isn't too bad. I got the teacher torta which was pretty good but pretty pricey for just a sandwich and no sides. The elote was decent but a little pricey as well for size of the small cup. It's a cute little restaurant and gives off authentic vibes.
