It's only a 30 min drive, the same amount of time that it takes me to my gal that I've been go to for 10 plus years. When he's goes he gets the works. Haircut, shampoo, and stying. The shampoo part is really important to him it's the part of luxury he is looking for in a salon/barber shop. Back to the shop. Unlike midtown where it's only metered street parking and that slim pickings. This Woodland location there is a private parking lot that is shared by the shopping center. There is always plenty of parking. I don't always accompany my husband to his hair appointments, but this was an option to also run errands in the area. They have a Costco near by and all of the standard retailers. What a change a year has made. I was looking at my reviews and it's been a year since I've personally come with him to his appointment. He's one of those guys that gets his hair cuts monthly so there is a lot of checking in I'm not doing. The whole Barber Shop has been revamped. Check out my before pictures. It looks like a typical barber shop. Each station had a tool box to hold all of the barber supplies. Now it looks like a high end salon. I love the neon lights on the ceiling. It reminds me of a bee hive. The floors are brand new and look slick. If you want Jackie to do your hair I suggest you make a reservation as she books up fast. If you don't care who does your hair you should be able to walk in. The last time we were here was a Saturday and they were packed. So you may want to make an appointment or be prepared to wait a bit. Yesterday wasn't bed. We were able to make an appointment the day before at 1pm. There was a guy before us. He was just finishing up when we arrived. If you are looking for a cut and or shave you've come to the right place. Jackie owns a barber shop/salon in both Midtown/Sacramento and Woodland. She does a fantastic job and is very personable and professional.
