Like most wine/liquor stores, the staff is quite knowledgeable about wines, variety of liquors and has some great suggestions. My new favorite Pinot noir can be found there for an excellent price and it is what keeps me going back 'cause I can't find it anywhere else. I enjoy using their bulk Baileys and Kahlua for my holiday and special events baking and it helps save on costs when I do inevitably make mistakes. The best part is that you don't need to be a Costco member. In most states, the liquor and wine is kept inside but certain states have Costco house the liquor and beer separately which is win/win for most people. The only downside is that Costco brand liquor is off the table here but it's a small price to pay I suppose.

They don't thank you for shopping with them or give you direct eye contact. You also have to purchase $5 worth of things to use your debit or credit card. I wasn't aware of this until I went to the register to buy an orange juice and another drink. I had to scatter to find other things to buy. I did notice they had my favorite brand of cracklins, which I did buy. The candy aisle was fully stocked but not with my favorites. Maybe they will switch it up later on down the line. I still will come here time to time to buy drinks and snacks.

The parking lot is so well lit, the soda area is always clean and well stocked, there's a walk in beer cooler and the ladies behind the counter are always so nice. I enjoy cutting through Old Evans Rd. to get not have to swing around the Washington Rd. traffic during rush hour and have gotten in the habit of filling up with gas and taking a second to get a quick soda or Takis. The lines aren't long, the pumps are always working and they usually carry Augusta Disposal lawn stickers which is a major plus for me. My only wish is that there was more snack food available to the driver like me that gets the munchies only 10 minutes away from home. Mini pizzas? Tamales? Brownies? Just a few suggestions.

Now for some who may not be familiar to the area, it is located just across the Savannah River in North Augusta, SC. Though the distance is minimal, the price is dramatic. I have seen it up to .20 cheaper before. And as mentioned in a previous review, paying with cash saves you an additional .03. Inside it has what every good gas station carries: hot dogs rolling, drinks chilling, and snacks a plenty. The team here always has a smile on their face as well. A added convenience is when you leave, you can come out a traffic light.That makes any direction easy to maneuver.
