I went their on a busy Saturday and a lot of cars were waiting in the line. I chose the body shield wash which is 18 dollar for students. After the wash I found there are tons of dirt not cleaned up and there's even water spot on my car after the wash. Overall an bad experience. read more

I paid to have my interior cleaned. I don't do exterior cleans there anymore as it scratched my paint up very bad. But I wanted to get my interior cleaned rather than do it myself as I am busy. Now that I am home, I am going to have to clean the interior of my truck because a lot was missed. Not impressed. read more

I brought my car in for a basic detailing. My car looks GORGEOUS! I am so impressed! I am pretty messy plus my dog gets awfully sick when we travel, so the inside was disgusting (I was embarrassed to even drop it off) and now it's almost as good as new! Will definitely be saving up to have it done routinely. read more

They were very quick to approach and take care of me! I hadn't read the options yet and they let me take as long as I needed to decide which option to do. I got the Body Shield Package for my Honda Civic. There was a $2 off on the day I went and I needed a good cleaning from a long road trip. Overall it was $23 before tipping. Students get a 25% discount during the semester so it ended up as $17.75 before tip. The staff all seemed friendly. The car came out looking great and cleaned to my expectations! There was one spot on the windshield I wanted touched up and they took care of it. Additionally, they asked me about putting in fragrance before doing it and let me smell them prior to decide. It took about 10-15 minutes to complete. Its right across from Carol Lee donuts on the corner of the shopping center by the intersection. Had a great experience, I'll be back again! read more

We had our son's car detailed after having been with him at college for a few years. They made it look like new! And that was quite a feat! They took their time and paid extreme attention to detail. I rarely write reviews about anything, but I felt that this business needed my praise. Car washes back home are just as effective, but the difference was in the attention to detail. The guy who dried my car took about ten extra minutes to dry my wheels just right- in the process cleaning off everything on this inside lip of the rim that a car wash just can't get. It could've been the fact that I tipped heavily before he started, but I was extremely pleased with the result. I'll be back for the rest of my time at Virginia Tech, just because that one towel dry guy decided to put in some serious work. I know how strenuous cleaning those rims is- they can cut your hands, bruise your wrists, and make you sweat when it's cold out. But these boys know how to work, and they show it. One star off for the entire staff basically sneering at me the whole time I was there- up until I tipped heavy. Minor setback, however, and I assume the staff was mostly college age guys like myself, so I can't hold it against them. TL;DR- take your car here, get the second to nicest wash they have, then tip heavy. Success ensues. read more

I usually take my car to Southern Classic in Christiansburg but I decided to test them out since I live in Blacksburg. Needless to say, I'm regretting that decision and would give it -5 stars if I could. Read on to see why. When I initially got there they informed me that their track wasn't working and that it would take some time before it would be ready. That's all good and gravy, things happen...machines malfunction and it's expected. After patiently waiting for about 20 min, their machines started to operate and I had them perform a simple wash with undercarriage for $7. First of all, their line is a lot shorter than Southern Classic and their operators don't put as much time during the prewash. However, the main reason I'm writing this review is because upon exiting the car wash I realized that a large piece of my hood paint was missing (about 3-4 inches in diameter). Shocked I went back and showed them what had happened. After making me wait for 15 mins, the manager on duty came out and insisted that their machines wouldn't remove paint like this and that "It must have been there before the wash." Essentially implying that I was lying about it not being there before I entered their car wash! After some time arguing, I made him ask the operator who prewashed my car before it entered the line as to whether or not he saw the missing paint. The manager went to the operator who was a decent country boy (honest and forthcoming) and asked, "There was paint missing on the hood of that vehicle was there not?" In other words, he asked question with a tone and language that would pressure his employee into answering "Yes there was." Seeing this, I quickly intervened and asked question myself as to whether or not he saw any paint missing while he was prewashing. The operator firmly said "No, there wasn't any paint missing just a lot of black spots from bird poop and some scratches on the bumper; but no paint missing from the hood." To reinforce his statement, I asked that he come take a look and see exactly what we were talking about. On the way there, the manager looked at the operator and said "Our machines would never remove paint and it MUST have been there before hand." This pressure caused the operator to change what he had said less than 30s before and assert that "I doesn't remember if it was there or not; I only wash the car." Mind you, because of the amount of paint missing, you'd have to be blind not to see it given it's visible from 20 ft. away. Nevertheless, understandably, the operator maintained that he didn't remember if it was there or not after the manager set the tone. In the end, I wasn't as mad and dissatisfied about the paint being gone as I was with them, specifically the manager, BSing his way out of the situation, rolling his eyes at me and pressuring his employee. Drive 10 mins further to Southern Classic in Christiansburg and get a better, cleaner and SAFER wash from people who don't put their employees under pressure. There's also free vacuuming there. Avoid Main Auto Spa at all costs if you're not comfortable risking your car's paint. If you have no choice, make sure you take pictures of your vehicle before you enter the wash in case your paint comes off and the operator "doesn't remember". read more

I have a ford focus hatchback, and they didn't even touch the back end behind the back seats - it's not the trunk so I was expecting them to vacuum that space. Really disappointed with this company. A few years ago I got my car washed through them and had a terrible experience: they didn't vacuum the back seat area at all, and even though they said they did a wipe down of the interior, only the dash was wiped down. This past week I decided to give them another try and had an even worse experience! This time I specifically asked for an interior wipe down, and when I got my car back at the end, the cup holders were still dirty and seemingly untouched. The windows and side view mirrors were covered in water spots, and the front windshield still had bug splatters. The front hood, side view mirrors and front grill of the car still had pieces of bugs and bug splatters all over. There were spiderwebs still in the door handles of the back seat. There were smears of dirt all over the trunk and randomly throughout the car as if they either used a dirty rag or missed places. I had to spend an extra 30 minutes of my own time cleaning my car after I had just cleaned it. I don't expect perfection at all, but I would at least like a clean car after I pay you to clean it. Also, they have a deal where students get 25% off everyday, but they have the sign inside the building which you only enter AFTER you pay. The kids cleaning the cars were nice, but extremely rushed - I don't know if this is a management problem or something else because the place was pretty slow at the time. read more

I wish there were a 4.5 star rating! I'm VERY VERY HAPPY, and will be going back frequently! VERY good service. VERY willing to work with my schedule. VERY reasonable rates. I paid $35 to get my Toyota Corolla cleaned inside- vacuumed, shampooed (carpets and seats), and an interior wipe-down. It took about 50 minutes for an excellent job! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that it was not QUI-I-I-I-I-I-TE perfect: one spot on a seat was still visible, though indeed the car is 10 years old and had never had a detailing; My biggest issue was the the floor mats were still freely dripping, and the worker seemed to have no qualms bout putting them back in anyway. When I asked him to wait so I could figure something out, he did get me a large, sturdy plastic bag for them. The seats and carpet were in far better shape - my rear was not wet after driving home. At $35, I was able to give a nice tip. I'm VERY happy with the service, and am recommending to friends. read more
