I occasionally need to have large sheet printing done (A3) for proofreading purposes and often they can oblige in about 15 minutes. I've also had business cards done there (which they successfully cleaned up from a rather grotty layout in Word). Other instances have been Christmas cards, which I (attempt) to design in Powerpoint. Here they can clean the file up in a jiffy, make sure everything is correctly centred etc. and come out with a finished product that looks like a purchased card, only much better! Really nice, friendly and helpful people and I think their prices are pretty reasonable. On a couple of occasions I've noticed business people come into collect their stuff and thought it significant how delighted they always seemed to be. First stop for printing and auxiliary services in Maidenhead.

You can get posters and bits for making displays - useful for events such as freshers' fairs, or if you're running a stall at an event. The digital printing is useful for producing good quality posters and flyers - really useful for clubs and societies. They usually expect you to order a large number, so it's best if you're circulating something widely, but they're very helpful if you have other requests.

The location is not convenient at all, a sentiment I suspect will be shared among most University of Oxford students, especially if you live in the center of town or worse traveling from North Oxford. The store hours are also annoying in so far as you cannot stop by early in the morning to get a print task taken care of before going off to work or classes. The cost was on the expensive side and they took more than twice as long as they claimed they would to complete the job. The only redeeming quality (and unfortunately this is a big one) is that no other print shop in Oxford will/can produce professional grade scores-- binding on the long side of A3, heavy cardstock pages, coil, etc). The staff were friendly and the store is well maintained.

Stagecoach buses are a very mixed lot in Oxford. Some services are excellent - frequent, on time,…read morewith knowledgeable drivers, convenient stops, and comfortable buses. Some are appallingly bad - old overloaded minibuses and tatty bigger buses, drivers who don't know the route/area/language, and habitually late trips. The pricing structure is not always logical or good value - particularly if you are travelling outside the city rather than just inside it. Passes, on the other hand, are good value and allow travel in a wide area for a proportionately low amount. Many buses are pushchair/wheelchair-friendly; it's a shame that the passengers often are not - and nor are a few drivers. It's worth noting the bus number and complaining if you get a bad experience, as a few drivers seem to think that driving away from a stop while frail/elderly passengers are still making their way down the bus is a good thing.

The morning busses are generally on time and the drivers are friendly and helpful. I particularly like that one of the journeys is run by a tube vehicle which is much more comfortable than a standard bus and at that time of the morning, its nice to curl up and have an extra forty minutes or so of sleep! The other busses, however are more than adequate and seem to be kept clean. Just wondering though, in the 21st century why they don't have seat belts yet? The evening bus journeys from 5pm onwards are late everyday and this is highly frustrating, I think someone tested these journeys on a sunday or a bank holiday! Do not rely on these to get you anywhere on time, it is okay for me since I am only traveling home.. Of course you expect there to be a lot of traffic at this time; so it would simply serve better to have a more realistic timetable. The 5.20 bus frequently turns up at closer to 6pm when it is supposed to have finished its journey by 6.15 The prices therefore seem a little steep when punctuality should be a given. A monthly pass is still cheaper than driving to Oxford everyday though and works out at half the cost it would be if you bough a bus ticket everyday.

Their shop is organized as a shop and museum. You can actually walk inside room with looms and see how the wool is prepared and woven. The first part of the shop has lots of blankets and throw pillows. There is an upstairs with lots of miscellaneous trinkets and then another section with hats, gloves and clothes. Make sure you get a VAT receipt from them. They also have a lovely cafe out the back so save time for tea and a treat. All in all, it was about a 30 min drive from where we were staying but it was well worth it. We ended up picking up blankets for ourselves and as gifts. They have so many beautiful colors and patterns, it's hard to choose!
