Once I got to the back, it was an additional 15 minutes of waiting before I saw anybody, and in that time I heard a staff member mention that there was only 1 doctor, and that there were patients in the lobby waiting for hours, and they said "what can we do" about the situation. Once the doctor arrived, he was very dismissive. His whole demeanor was couldn't be bothered like. He barely looked at my foot, and asked me if I wanted an Xray. Once I said yes and got back, he barely acknowledged it and said I was basically fine, and they were sending it to Radiology for them to see because they have better equipment. He then said "you can stay if you want, or you can go, and if anything comes back, you can pick up a boot". I had asked him if he thought it was broken or fractured, and he just skimmed over the top of that simple stating that, "sometimes sprains make the foot bruise and swell". Overall very dismissive and had a very I don't care attitude. As of Today, 3 days later, I have still yet to hear back about radiology and my foot is still in pain. My biggest concern with this clinic, was that I honestly felt they were waiting for me to leave, couldn't be bothered to help me, and made me feel ridiculous about even asking questions about what I thought was an injury to my foot. And it just made me feel like an inconvenience for even being there. I see why people put off probable health concerns because clinics like this make you feel absolutely stupid for even addressing concerns regarding your physical body. I would not recommend this, there are other and better Intermountain Health Facilities in the city, like the one on Broadwater, where I went to when I had severe Pneumonia and they were fantastic. Never once did I feel like I was an imposition, or my concerns didn't matter. Even though it is farther from where I live, I will be going to the Broadwater clinic for future needs.
