I made the mistake of hiring MaidPro of St Petersburg to do a one time cleaning. They sent a 49 point checklist of things they were supposed to do. We expected a professional person with cleaning experience. What we got was anything but that. The girl they sent seemed lost and did not seem to understand what she was supposed to do. She did not dust the blinds without being asked. The baseboards were not dusted, ceiling fans were not dusted and the furniture was not vacuumed. All of these are on the 49 point checklist. I asked her to use Bona floor cleaner on my floor provided by me but she still chose to use her own. My floor is streaky with residue and there are still spots on the floor. Our cleaner was also hard to talk to since she was listening on ear pods while she was working. If you don't want to throw away $200 dollars, DON'T hire these people. They are horrible! After spending much time arranging for the cleaning and waiting for the appointment, they came out and cleaned, then told me they would not be back because I had dirty dishes on counter and too much stuff lying around in office. I told them I had cleaned one counter in kitchen and they could move dishes to that counter. In office, I said all they needed to do was dust surfaces. Pathetic waste of time. read more

Beware! Do not use this company!! We swapped to them from our previous maid company due to pricing, but the quality shows why. My house never felt clean when returning home after cleaning our home. Now they complain that my house is too cluttered to clean. I dont know they're definition of cluttered, but my house is certainly not cluttered. They refered to 1 time 2 weeks ago when I hurt my back and could not get out of bed for over a week. We had some extra clothes sitting next to my bed and the dishes were not done. Today they inform me they won't clean my house anymore because of this. What is the point of hiring a cleaning service that does not want to clean? Do you only clean already clean houses? Because that defeats the purpose of hiring a maid service, especially when I have a hurt back. We will be gladly going back to our previous service and pay the $20 more for good service and able to come home to a clean house. read more

I was charged $373 for a move out cleaning. They did not have to deal with any furniture to clean. Called them before the cleaning was done. Horrible job. Sent them pictures. It was unbelievable the terrible job that they did. Office person said they would give me a substantial discount. Ha Ha. My credit card was still charged and no communication from this company. I used MaidPro for the first time yesterday. I absolutely loved the girl they sent out. She did an amazingly thorough job! It took her longer than estimated, however, and cost me extra money. They are not cheap, but I believe you get what you pay for. The only complaint I have is that the ceiling fan dirt was left to fall on the beds and caused me unnecessary laundry. My cleaner was late, and I was disappointed that I had to call the office twice to find out when she would be arriving. When I first set my appointment I had a lengthy call with the office manager about exact cleaning needs, but according to my cleaner, that specific information was never relayed to her. When cleaning was completed I spoke with the office manager about my exact charge, and it was less than the estimate. However, I was charged the full estimate price. I had to call the office AGAIN to have this issue resolved. Sierra was an excellent cleaner. She re-cleaned areas that I requested, and she was polite and efficient. Also, it would be helpful if MaidPro uniforms were worn or MaidPro IDs were shown. Overall, communication between all staff and with customers needs some major improvement. read more

*ZERO* A horrible place to do business. Please do not waste your time or money agreeing to do business with them. The cleaning person never dusted the ceiling fans, or did she lift anything off the floor to clean underneath... just a wipe around. (Horrible). Plus, she wanted to do business with me independently and gave me her direct contact info. Not sure how they ever retain workers. Further, they will not provide you an appt reminder until 24 hours before the appointed time, however they will charge you $50 if the time doesn't work for you (because you must tell them 48 hours ahead of time to cancel). A terrible way to do business and clearly this is how they are making money off of their clients. I asked for a credit as I was a new client and they would not give me that courtesy. Shameful and horrible customer service. They lost me as a customer as well as any of my friends and contacts who are looking for cleaning help. read more

I hired MaidPro to clean my mothers rental house after I finished moving her to a new one. The owner Jorge was accommodating and the two ladies working on the house did a very thorough job. Jorge estimated a five hour cleaning time and even though it went a bit over-time he stuck to his original five hour price. I recommend them to anyone in their service area. read more

I was charged $160 to "deep clean" my 700 sq ft apartment. The "deep cleaning" service I received was a very half-assed, light/basic cleaning (at best.) They did book a "re-clean" after having me send in pictures of areas that were not clean. The "re-clean" was no better than the first cleaning service (maybe worse, all things considered.) I received ZERO "deep cleaning" for my money. I feel SUPER ripped off! I STRONGLY suggest you find a different cleaning service. read more

The Maidpro owner and staff are very courteous. I scheduled three cleanings with the company. The first cleaning, the person who came was AMAZING! The second time, the clean was mediocre. To the owner's credit, he heard my frustration about the mediocre job and concerns regarding wanting to know who is coming to my home beforehand. I was promised better communication and that someone would let me know if there was a change in staff. My plan was that once I felt confident in the company, they would clean when I wasn't home. Before my third cleaning, the company called and stated my person was overbooked and asked if my appointment could be changed, I responded that I really couldn't change my time, I still wanted services, and I confirmed my preferred cleaning professional would be cleaning that day, which they said they would "have someone else go to the other appointment." On the morning of the clean, someone I did not know came to do the job. My belief is they send their very best the first time and then it's whoever is available. I'm disappointed at the poor communication and the "bait and switch" of the cleaning professional when I specifically stated I wanted the same person AND to know who is coming to my home. I really wanted this to work out but I will be looking for new services. read more
