After about 4 hours, I checked in by text and she told me that her vacuum had broken so she couldn't clean the carpets and that she needed to leave for her other job. I'm not sure how she intended to get 6 hours of work done in a 4 hours window, but that quickly became a secondary concern. When I got to my house that night to finish the cleaning, I discovered that she had taken many things I hadn't moved yet and had gone through boxes in the basement. Among the things taken were a robotic vacuum, a water purifier, pantry items, and cleaning supplies. When I texted her about it, she responded that she'd taken the things because she figured they'd be thrown away anyway. She admitted that it had been unprofessional and offered to return the items. I will say that what she did clean was well done. However, her lack of judgement and her inability to complete the job means that I cannot possibly recommend her to others.

It was so difficult to find cleaning companies who could do the job on a weekend, as we live out-of-state and couldn't be there during the week, but she could. She also does her own carpet shampooing, which was also difficult to find with other companies. I don't understand why more cleaning services don't offer carpet shampooing.
