This company cleaned my house in October and today in November. Until today I would have given Matt and his team a high rating but unfortunately today I was treated very poorly by the owner Matt. They cleaned my house beautifully but apparently as a paying customer Matt has a problem with customers asking clarifying questions. Upon arrival this morning I informed Lisa that I did not want her to use water on my hardwood floors but just use Bona directly on the hardwood. Well as it turns out she said she forgot And immediately offered to dry the floor with their towels. It was totally fine and I was in no way mad that she forgot. It happens. Then when she asked me to check upstairs to make sure it was good I only noticed that the tv and stand were still dusty that they must have forgotten it. She or her partner did it no big deal. They were still cleaning downstairs so it would take nothing to just wipe what they missed because after all I'm paying for a service. When they asked me to do walk through of downstairs I said all looked well. I was in a meeting for work but looked quickly. So when I made my appointment for December I told the owner that they did a great job and that I was very pleased but noticed this time they didn't vacuum my couch like they did the first time when they cleaned in October. He said that it is only done during a deep clean of that room. I said ok thanks. No problem but thought that was standard. Apparently he did not like my reply because Then he sent me a text about 20 min later and said that the ladies told him that I was not pleased with how they cleaned and that since I was so unhappy that they would be declining any future services. I was floored. I then personally called and told him that if I were so unhappy I would have told him that I was happy and that I would not have tipped which I tipped very well. I told him to mail my check back to me and that I would be taking the extra good tip out and only paying for the service that was done. He says that they are the best in the business but in order to be the best you must exceed expectations in all areas and customer service is not something he excels at. In addition he believed his team who has clearly lied to him and never asked me the customer if I was pleased or not and never wanted to hear my side. Lisa came in running her mouth telling me that the ladies who cleaned for me in October no longer are with the company and that people are asking her all the time when will she go back to coordinating because they don't like how Matt does it. I as a customer should not be told any of this. It's highly unprofessional and she has told me many times they are short staffed. Now I can see why if he treats his employees like he did me which was unfair and unjust. Truly unbelievable. You will be better off hiring a company that is well rounded and can take feedback and doesn't mind questions from paying customers. read more

There was a difference of opinion. I did not appreciate the owner's arrogant airs & condescending speech when trying to communicate. I noticed it from the initial interview. He acted like he was doing us a favor by cleaning our home. The cleaning was ok, but not the best. My husband is homebound except for medical appointments. I'm his caregiver & go to all appointments due to his brain injury. He is very adamant that nobody be in our home without us being here. It's the last bit of control he has over his affairs. The owner wants to be able to come at his convenience. He set appointments & if they didn't work for us, apparently that was a problem. So, he took us off the rotation without any discussion. He said he sent a text. I never saw it. He sent a screenshot of it, but I never saw it before yesterday. The text was short & terse anyway. It just said "we are not a good fit." While I understand he is a for-profit business, he has no compassion for a 100% disabled veteran. I find that troubling & disrespectful. It speaks to his character. Though I wish him no harm, I won't be surprised if his attitude is his undoing. read more

This was Maid to Glimmers first visit to my house. I wouldn't dream of leaving my house unlocked, especially for a company's first visit and entrusting my possessions to strangers. I have never encountered such poor customer service from a cleaning company. read more
