My seat repair on an e350 looks great. You cannot tell the difference between the repaired seat and the other seats.

Mr. Alex Lima can turn water into wine...probably, because if he can make an old vintage leather seat cushion transform its life into a new seat cushion then I would say he has miraculous capabilities. I brought an old Fairfield leather office chair that I paid $25 at a second hand store. I knew the brand very well, so I knew its worth (try $1,500-$3,500 easily). I saw past the ripped seat, and I thought that it would be less expensive to have the seat re-leathered than to purchase a new chair in the same brand which is true in theory; however, the price of the leather panels were far beyond what I wanted to pay for a chair that I only wanted to place into my work office space, so I didn't want to invest a lot of money. Alex helped me search through fabric swatches and I found what I thought was unique and went with my theme of traditional elegance with a touch of interesting movements in that space. Viola! Mag's had what I was looking for, and Alex gave me price that was fair. He told me I could pay when I returned and I left with his word that he would call me in a couple of weeks. True to his word, Alex called me and I dropped in to pick up my baby. I was so pleasantly surprised and pleased when I saw the beautiful new seat cushion. Alex is simply a wonderful artist with a eye for perfection because he added a little more padding to provide the right depth the seat needed to the final sewing. I almost did not recognize the cushion if it weren't for the fabric. Alex and his genius hands made this seat cushion sparkle. I highly recommend Mag's for your refurbishing desires of any seat you need. Alex is a master at his craft and clearly he takes pride in his work. Buy a new couch to replace the one you love and spend thousands of dollars or have the foam replaced for a few hundred and keep the couch that was custom made for your home - winner!!! I first had one of the zippers replaced on one of the cushions then later returned for the cushions. We are so delighted with the work and our couch is comfy again. Since we have multiple pieces of furniture to recover, I decided to use simple pillows as a test before trusting an upholster with major work. Unfortunately, the workmanship was poor, customer service and communication was worse than poor and the price was outrageous for the simplicity of work. Are you kidding me! I have a set of BMW motorcycle panniers (saddlebags) that were black leather that I purchased used. My stock saddle is navy blue. I belong to a number of motorcycle forums and between those and internet searches for upholsterers that actually can dye (re-dye) leather, Mag's kept "popping" up. I tried earnestly to find upholstery shops close by but I found none who even knew what a MC saddlebag was much less how to re-dye it. So, I pulled the trigger and made the 2 hr trek to Mags in Marietta, GA. Let me tell you it was worth the drive! Not only reasonable price, but great customer service and especially quality workmanship! I brought in a navy blue backrest for them to match the color. Not only did they match the color for the saddlebags, they also re-dyed the worn backrest AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! That my friends is what customer service is all about these days!
