I feel that the house we rented is cursed because in two years there have been 3 leaks, the hvac system broke down, and the garage door broke. Blue has been rude and horrendous to speak with. We lived with 90F+ heat inside the home for a month last summer. There are exposed walls in the garage and my son's room. Blue only tried to find a solution 6 months after constant complaining that I wanted it repaired. She hired a sketchy guy to come but when I asked for someone else she said I didn't get to decide who can do it and that she called around a lot of places to get this guy. Really Blue he's the only guy in southern California who can repair a tiny crack in a tub?! She's just awful and we're looking for a new place now because I'm sure they will raise the rent and continue with the poor service and even worse attitude. Then I ran into Lorenzo Villafranco an agent with Full Realty Services. It seems the houses I wanted to see have one property management company in Canyon Lake handling which I didn't quite realize, but none of them offered to show the houses. I get it.. this is not a big commission for him, but when I met Lorenzo exactly on time, plus he took two hours of his time to show me 4 homes, he treated me just like I was going to buy a mansion. I have worked in the auto biz for almost 40 years and I know to be successful, it's about establishing a relationship. Lorenzo went out of his way, probably on his day off, over 100 degrees outside and was incredibly helpful. Had a couple hiccups trying to get into homes with lock boxes, he took the time to call the agents in order to show. I just wish I could finish the actual lease with him, what a disappointment now to have to work with others. With that said, there is NO WAY I would ever consider anyone else assisting me should the time come to buy out here in the area. Thank you, Lorenzo.. The rental process was perfect. The house itself is great, though there was work that needed to be done and we knew that from the beginning. The maintenance crew has been amazing, Marc has been the best maintenance person I've ever worked with. He has meticulously repaired any issues, we've had a ceiling fan replaced, bathroom vanity replaced. We knew coming in that there would be fixes, and we we've been happy with how the response has been with any issues. We were happy in our rental house and had no issues until we declined to sign another one-year lease and requested month-to-month; we had already rented the house for two years and were starting to look for a home to purchase. Despite always paying rent on time, keeping the property clean, and causing no problems whatsoever, we were suddenly served a 60-day notice. We were then told the owners were moving back in--only to later discover the property was renovated and re-rented. Both the owner and Jensen PM were disingenuous...first to tell us they were moving back in, and then renting the home again. Our security deposit was used toward restoring the home to like-new condition and wanted to charge us for normal wear and tear items, which forced us to hire an attorney. While we were able to recover a small additional amount, it should never have come to that. I have always been praised for how I kept my apartments and rental homes and always got my full deposit returned. Michelle's demeanor throughout this process was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. She spoke down to me often in emails and texts. For example, she told us we can't have carpets cleaned until we move out, but we already moved our stuff to storage to meet their 60-day notice to vacate. When I told her we cleaned the carpets, she replied "You can't clean the carpets until you move out, I told you this". In my opinion, Michelle and her team were dishonest, disrespectful, and handled this situation terribly. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution others looking to rent a home through Jensen Property Management.
