I think this is one of the best dirt race tracks I have ever been to. I rate oval dirt race tracks on mostly 4 features. They are parking, concessions, facilities, and view of race track while racing. I also have to add that everyone was nice here. First, I had no problems about parking. We got to race track early and set up our lawn chairs and then left the track to find a restaurant to eat at. We got a good parking place at first and when we came back we got an even better parking place. The concession stands were easy to get what you wanted and pretty fast too. There were either no lines or I had to wait only a minute or two. That's pretty reasonable since I have been to over 20 different race tracks in the South. They have bathrooms here with water and you can wash your hands too. There's soap and even paper towels. There are no seats in this facility. There are concrete steps big enough to bring your lawn chairs. I like this since lawn chairs are more comfortable. I have never seen this at the other 20 race tracks I have been to. Best of all, you can view the whole race track from your seat from anywhere in the grand stands. read more

Magnolia puts on a great show and keeps the action moving fast. However, there are a couple of things that need to be improved. The concessions and restrooms are not sufficient for the amount of crowd that turns out at this track. Both should be doubled in size. Also, main features start too late. For such a fan friendly event, staying up until after 12:00 is just too late. The last main should be completed before 11. Mains should start no later than 8. read more

Fun atmosphere, lots of seating. A lot of fun on a Saturday night! Bring a chair, a blanket, and some bug spray!
