After seeing many dentists in the Parker area, I feel like I have finally found the one that I…read morereally like and will continue to visit - that is Dr. Evanson. I'm very picky about seeing dentists because although I have a number of other health issues that take up a lot of my time and energy, I am lucky to have gorgeous and very healthy teeth. I have seen several in Parker who either kept forgetting what was written in my chart and asking me the same questions each visit or others where the dentist was great but the staff was quite unfriendly. Mainly, I have visited dentists in Parker and other cities where I've lived who only seemed to want to push me into having expensive procedures I didn't want or need in order to make money. At Dr. Evanson's office, the hygienist appeared to do a fantastic job of removing tartar and she was very conscientious about checking my gums. I'm happy to finally have a dentist with hygienists that I trust and where I don't keep feeling pressured to consider expensive surgeries that I don't want or need.

In all that time she and her team have been incredibly professional, knowlegeable, and efficient while managing at the same time to be always friendly, kind, compassionate and thoughtful. She's been there for me through normal, regular routine care and cleaning as well as several dental emergencies. I cannot say enough about her and the entire team and would (and have!) recommended them to anyone looking for the best possible professional dental care in Douglas County!

Let me start by saying that I originally went to a dentist in Parker for a CLEANING. Just a…read morecleaning, y'all! Somehow, that turned into a root canal, a crown, and a dental journey I never signed up for! After my experience with the first dentist, I knew one thing for certain: I was NEVER going back there again! Not for a root canal, not for a crown, not even for a free toothbrush! Thankfully, the VA Community Care team referred me to Apex Endodontics in Colorado Springs, where I received my root canal. After that, I was referred to Twin Aspen Dental Center for my crown. From my very first visit, the experience was wonderful. The receptionists were friendly, offered me water, and had me seated and called back within about five minutes. Safarmoh greeted me, listened to my story, took my X-rays, and made me feel comfortable. She even taught me something new about my own mouth--I apparently have extra bone in there! Who knew?! Then I met Dr. Lindsey Dortch, who examined me, explained the procedure, and submitted everything needed for my crown. Fast-forward to today: CROWN DAY! And let me tell you... NIGHT AND DAY compared to my previous experience. ZERO PAIN! Not even the numbing injection hurt! Dr. Dortch was gentle, professional, and made the entire procedure comfortable. While my crown was being made, I got a break, and Safarmoh came in to check on me. Somehow, we ended up having our own little comedy show! It's wonderful when healthcare professionals can make you laugh, especially after you've had such a difficult experience elsewhere. Dr. Dortch returned, made sure my crown fit properly, and I was on my way! The entire team treated me with kindness, patience, and professionalism. I never felt rushed, dismissed, or uncomfortable. After everything I've been through, I cannot express how much I appreciate receiving dental care that doesn't leave me traumatized or questioning my life choices! Thank you, Dr. Dortch, Safarmoh, and the entire Twin Aspen team! If you're looking for a dentist who is gentle, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about your comfort, I HIGHLY recommend Twin Aspen Dental Center. I came in needing a crown and left with a smile. UPDATE!!! I get a call and it says, "Twin Aspen Dental" on my phone. I answer. It's Dr. Dortch. She says, "Hey Derrian!!! It's Dr. Dortch." I say, "Okay, weren't you playing in my mouth yesterday?" She laughs and says, "Yeah, I'm just calling to check on you to see how your feeling before the weekend?" I say, "Shut up!!! Are you serious??" That really made me feel good. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
