My 7 year old and 4 year old are doing the 6 week trial. First what I noticed is that all the people who work there that I've met are very kind which is always a good thing. Second, my kids love the classes. They have fun and learn.. and the coaches are patient and they give you a rundown of what your child needs to work on after every class. I bought a Groupon and extended time with an offer that Magnitude had for additional time for an extra charge. They call this "A 6 week trial" for tumbling. I should have stuck with the Groupon, because this place ended up being so bad that we quit early, leaving behind 4 sessions. Here are my reasons; 1. There is no air conditioning in the gym. Literally just big fans. My little one had more than one episode of being on the verge of vomiting from the heat. 2. The parents lounge is so uncomfortable because they have signs posted that you are being watched on camera and every few minutes lights blare on you as the video cameras film. So cringy. 3. They don't have a good system of scheduling for classes or make-ups. Impossible to do from a laptop. Old and outdated app. You must use a smart phone. The rules for scheduling make-ups make it very difficult, class times for tumbling "essentials" very limited. 4. Some "coaches" shouldn't even be there. If you can't do a cartwheel, or demonstrate because you are too overweight, you have no business coaching. Demonstration is essential especially when working with children. 5. Some "coaches" should not work with children. One of the coaches said "What's wrong with you" to my 5 yr old when attempting a forward roll. This place is a literal mill. They have to be making money hand over fist. No excuse for not having air conditioning in the gym. Paying REAL coaching staff. A few portable air conditioners at the LEAST. It appears that they are making the most and investing the least in the business, and hiring bottom of the barrel and very young coaches that they can minimally pay. Zero stars. My daughter started cheering for Magnitude at 4 years old. She was on their cheer team up until she was 8 and a half. Every season there was some type of issue that I would brush off but my child was quietly being disrespected. She was 1 of maybe 3 or 4 black girls in the team. There was an issue with her curly hair, them wanting it to be straight the night before team pictures. She would level up or learn a new skill and she wouldn't be posted or shared on the Facebook maybe once. In almost 5 years she never received athlete of the month. They play favorites a lot. We were lied to about affiliation, over charged for things sneakily. The coaches have no training on how to speak to children, they say things like "you think you're all that" to 11 year old girls. The coaches have a lot of self hate and are not trained professionally. There were countless numbers of meetings between parents complaining about the coaches every season and the owner did not hold them accountable. Every year they hold an end of the season banquet, while this should have been a time to highlight all the achievements the girls had accomplished throughout the season, my daughters team mates were awarded "best jumper" "most team spirit" all positives, my daughters coach, coach Nicole chose to award her "most likely to lose a shoe". I would not recommend this gym. The parents I've met over the years have all left because we were all over the ridiculousness of it all. My daughter is very sweet and did not deserve the mental abuse from her coaches. Zoom in, you can read the awards. That CHAT GPT response is exactly why I do not recommend this gym. The owner had the prower to correct issues and instead she would tuck her tail and let her coaches control her business. Again, zero stars. read more

As a parent, I expect the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and accountability from any organization entrusted with the care and development of children. The idea that coaches may potentially be under the influence of substances while working with minors is not only alarming -- it is absolutely unacceptable. I strongly urge your organization to begin implementing comprehensive drug screening procedures for all staff members immediately. Failing to take such measures creates an unsafe and inappropriate environment for young athletes, and raises serious questions about oversight and child safety within your facility. Please consider this a formal request for clarification on your current policies, and a demand for urgent action to ensure that Magnitude Cheer is a place where children are truly safe, respected, and nurtured. I will be following up with additional communication as well as contacting relevant authorities or regulatory bodies if necessary. This place is amazing my daughter went here when she lived in the valley and it gave her so much confidence and took away her anxiety. She still talks about this place plus they have great couches and parents are even very involved and can participate in some spirit fun. I had a t-shirt with my daughter's name on it and was in the parents class. ( found out I can't do what I use to in high school guess I'm getting old lol) but it was fun, and brought me closer to my daughter. read more

My daughter has been going here for awhile now. She has taken so many classes and made the cheer team last year. I have seen her form some really great friendships along the way. The whole entire staff is amazing. Taylor, Anthony, and Dante are amazing and great teachers. I'm glad my daughter decided to sign up again for the cheer team this year as well. Signing her up two years ago was a great decision by my husband. I only wish we did it earlier. She could barley do a cartwheel when she started. Now it's all about round offs and back handsprings. Don't sign up your children here ! This place is money hungry and only care about payments. They don't care about your children . If you don't make your monthly payment they will remove your child from the team . But you have to pay $2,000 up front paid in full!!!!! and monthly payments ! God forbid you miss ONE payment due to COVID a pandemic with unforeseen circumstances no one saw coming your child will be removed and all your money you spent won't be refunded ! They will tell you we won't charge you for dropping out in the middle of the season. Oh how nice . Oh and if you are late to a class a $15 charge will be charged to your card on file . My daughters enjoy their time in tumbling classes. They take two classes a week and woul join even more classes if they could. They coaches are wonderful and the girls are learning so much as so fast. The staff has been very helpful and welcoming. I recommend the club to anyone who wants to put their children in strengthening and enriching tumbling classes. There are also cheer classes as well as teams that can wonderful for your children. We visited Magnitude Cheer earlier this month for my daughter, Kaitlyn's friend's 6th birthday party but felt that the party was a bit, to be honest, boring. My daughter learns Taekwondo on a regular day basis and I feel the same way about Taekwondo as a birthday event. These places are not really fun, its more of a learning (extracurricular) sports/activity for a child that is interested in that particular sport/activity and not a place for birthday parties. We do not attend Magnitude Cheer. We only attended for a birthday party and this was our first experience. I would give it no star if I could: I saw that my daughter was a bit bored and as any 5-6 year would do, their attention would drift to something else. So she started to come visit myself and my husband in the seating area (came by maybe 2-3x). And when she would go back to join the party, instead of trying to get her interested and join the activity, the leading instructor would just completely leave her out and ignore her. I understand that Kaitlyn might have been disruptive a bit, but isn't it the main point that the birthday girl/boy and their friends have a good time?? Plus, if they wanted to promote their facility, wouldn't this be a good way to promote it? I felt that the instructor who was in charge of this birthday activity was blatantly being rude. When I was headed over there, I thought maybe if Kaitlyn has a good time, that we would sign up. But after this experience, that would definitely be a no. Here's a suggestion: how about tumbling and doing some more physical during the birthday event to utilize that large space you have so that the kids can enjoy running around and at the same time tired them out so that parents can enjoy their evening? I'd say this would be a win for you-win for the child-and a win for the partents type situation. NOTE: Moments after I left this review, after discussing with my husband and doing some online research, I figured out the instructor was the owner! Shame! This comment is to Janae after reading Janae's response to my original review as I felt a bit like she was glossing over my review : ** The reason I thought she was definitely being ignored was that it was very apparent during the routine show for the parents. Everyone was grouped and every individual in her group had a task that contributed to that routine except Kaitlyn. It was clear she was never given any direction and she is being left out as she just stood there on the side while everyone else was doing something. The instructor (was this you?), (clear from my video) clearly pulls in the other girls in the group to participate while she sits nearby except my daughter. I felt heartbroken for her as I watched Kaitlyn just standing there and her realizing this. She even brought it up to me after it was over and cried. That's how bad that scene was! This place a great place if your kids are wanting to start their journey in the all-star cheer leading world. They have something for every child that walks through the door of their gym. They class for kids from age 3 and on. There facilities are very clean and they care for them. Just walking into the place their walls are a crisp white and the first thing you see is their logo above the reception desk. They have a very large space for all of their classes and teams and this way there is no interference for anyone that is on the spring floor. For a gym it smells amazing in their parent area. Most gyms as soon as you walk in it smells like feet and sweat. But here you get a fresh smell as soon as you walk in. The inside of the gym does smell a little like feet but that is something you can't control because you have kids running around bare foot so keeping from smelling like stinky feet is almost impossible. Over all their facilities smell very good. Their staff is amazing. It all starts with their head coach, Coach Janae is great what she does and she defiantly transfers that to her staff. The whole staff is great with children and you can see that they love what they are doing. Those are the kind of people that never work a day in their lives because they are in love with what they do and it also transfers off on to the kids that they teach. Those kids love being at the gym. Their athlete on their year round teams are there everyday working their skills because they just love being their. Their new spring floor feels amazing. The springs are bran new so can feel how they bed under your feet ready to spring you in the air and catch you finally land. The carpet itself is still really soft so your shoe have a better grip so you can do more flip in a row. Their older floor feels a lot more srpingy because the spring have been broken in and they give you more height when you really punch off of them. Their mats are very well kept always clean and very squishy. They feel like as if they were new. Over all this place is very good if you want your child to be part of an amazing sport. I got the chance to cheer with em last year and they are a great program and they will not disappoint, So if you have the chance stop by and check the place out and believe me you will want to stay. My daughter and I were looking around for tumbling lessons. We came across this place not to far from where we live. I called and set a walk through so we could see the place and the staff. We were really impressed with the staff and how big the place was. That same day my daughter tried out and her instructor was very professional and explained in detail what my daughter was doing wrong and how to fix it. Many places we have been to will tell her what she is doing wrong, but not explain how to fix it. This becomes a problem because the child gets confused and doesn't know how to fix something if it isn't explained. Overall this place is amazing and have great prices. My daughter just started tumbling and cheer here and we are so happy. She has done gymnastics at other locations in the past and while she enjoyed it for the most part, she was not as happy as she has now been at Magnitude. I find the email and Facebook communications to be top notch and I SO appreciate being kept in the loop and I love that they strive to create a family atmosphere where everyone encourages and supports each other. The facility itself is clean and up-kept (in the past my daughter has taken Gymnastics at establishments that unfortunately have a gym sock scent to them.), parking is never an issue, and I find the rates to be competitive with what all other tumbling/gymnastics places in the valley are charging. In fact their six week introductory rate is an amazing deal and allows you the opportunity to see if they are a good fit for you before you commit. I love this place!! The staff are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The teachers give a monthly progress report/assessment of each student's abilities. They're very encouraging.
