Read a few reviews on different places and chose Alphonse Beauty. I decided to do a tint/shaping service first and Amanda said, I was correct in starting that way. My eyebrows looked amazing after and I got a Lot of compliments from my family members. I definitely will be getting the powder brow technique Amanda suggests is best for me. UPDATE: I had the Powder Brow done and couldn't be Happier. It's been over 21 days and everything Amanda tells you will happen, does. I did not experience a lot of itching or discomfort during this process. If you have been hesitant about doing this kind of procedure, schedule an appointment with her, you won't be disappointed.

Fine Strokes has an awesome website which you can get all the info you need on microblading, scheduling an appointment, and reading up on pre & post care. Vinny did my procedure and touch up as well. The studio is located inside Sola Salon & Suites near Costco in Shelby Twp so it's a single-room studio. However it's spic and span clean and excellent lighting. Vinny is so friendly and patient he wants to make sure he delivers what you want. I was pretty picky with my shape but he was so patient. For those of you who don't know, this procedure hurts! The numbing cream he used helped but if you know what this procedure is, then you'll expect some pain. My brows looked amazing after the first time he did them. I did the microblading + shading. He was very thorough in explaining the after care & provided a great topical gel to use. When I came back for my touchup 3 weeks later it was all the same experience, which is good. However both appointments I had to wait for quite a bit of time as he was finishing up a previous client. I appreciated that he acknowledged that & apologized for the inconvenience. I am pretty much happy with my brows however my skin must not have taken the strokes/pigment as well as others' skin does. Vinny is good about warning customers about that effect. The highly coveted microblading look does not last on all skin types. So mine you can somewhat see the lines, but it's mostly blurry. Not a great feeling considering all the money I spent here.

First, you go in and you have it done and they look FANTASTIC!! You are super excited. Over the next 14 days your brows will flake off and lose a lot of color. Mine like most of the color and my brows were sparse and boring. I was regretting wasting my money. But after 5 weeks I went back for my touch up. Again, immediately following the procedure I loved the sharpness and the color. I new they would fade and soften (they were admittedly a bit harsh), but wasn't sure how they would turn out. So, I went ahead and waited to take an "after" photo. They look pretty good. I would have really preferred they be darker. I don't have any makeup on in this photo, but I have been having to add powder to my brows. I did this so I wouldn't need to do that. It could just be that right after they fade like this, they go from very dark and crisp to more natural (which is what you want) and they just appear too light to me. It's tough to say. My goal of having this done was to not need makeup at all over the summer months. I want to go with a more natural look (with a ton of help, but look like I am not trying too hard). Off a picture, this man got them down to the freaking size, bro. I'm anxious so when they asked me if I wanted to watch a movie or anything, I said no. My boy Joe turns on Mad Max... They got me water even when I didn't ask. My nails came out to 65 bucks and I tipped 50. You need to reward this type of service, man. I --cannot-- wait to go back. Period.
