For a store about cheese, I did expect more cheese, to be honest. But what I found was delicious. Or at least, more cheese available for grab and go instead of a deli counter. There is a cooler case of spreadable cheese and it's fantastic. The Cajun lobster and provolone Chianti were both fantastic. Yes, they are more expensive than a super market. But they're also better tasting (IMHO).

The only shop we weren't greeted at as we walked in. For a cheese shop, there was very little cheese to be had. Everything in the case looked pre-packaged too - nothing special, unique, or even attractive. Also, this shop has a WIERD smell. I get a cheese shop having a little funk, but this was an unclean, rotting, funky smell. Yuck!

Lovely shop in Smithville for an assortment of cheeses, oils, salsas, spreads, marinades, and jams. The owner was a very nice guy too. Highly recommend trying the crab dip. Due to COVID there were no tastings at this time. As always, we will be back.

His amazing customer service! Highly suggest not visiting this place!!

Just had lunch at White Horse Liquors--yes, the liquor store--and was pleasantly surprised by the…read moredeli inside. It has a bit of a hip, modern feel with a thoughtfully curated menu. I ordered the Casanova: Prosciutto di Parma, fresh mozzarella, house-made pesto, roasted red peppers, and arugula on a freshly baked French roll. I went with it cold, which I think is the right call, though I'd be interested in trying it lightly toasted next time. The sandwich was outstanding. You can genuinely taste the freshness of the ingredients--from the bread to the mozzarella and crisp arugula. Simple, well-executed, and very satisfying. 5/5. Absolutely worth a stop--and while you're there, you might as well grab a good bottle of bourbon on the way out.

It was easy to find what I needed, and the layout makes browsing simple even if you're short on time. I just wish they sold the craft beer as singles without having to get a whole 4 pack. I didn't get a chance to fully explore (and just realized they apparently have a food/market section too, which I totally missed), but based on this visit I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again when I have more time to look around. Overall, a good spot with a great wide selection.

Cute little market tucked in the almost middle of the Smithville Square shopping center. Stopped in to check it out as I've always driven past it. This time I stopped as it was around lunchtime and I was hungry. So it's a lil market that has a big display case of prepped food and a deli. The blackboard has their sandwich specials. My eyes locked onto the Reuben. You can choose from corned beef, pastrami or turkey pastrami. I went for the OG - corned beef. They liked it nicely with 6 oz of meat and topped it with the usual suspects Swiss, kraut and Russian dressing. Once it was ready it came in a cute lil brown box and boy did it feel heavy! The aroma wafting in the car made me want to open it right then and there but luckily I only had to drive less than a mile. Once I opened it there was this perfect sammie staring at me with its just right buttery golden toastiness. Dressing dripping on the sides and the pile of corned beef's As Rachel Ray would say Yum-O! I honestly ate it way too fast but I'm not even gonna lie it was worth it! So if you are like me and have driven by but never stopped in ... STOP IN! Or if you're ever in the area and need a good sammie I would recommend this place.

Everything we have bought food quality has been exceptional - the desserts are delicious, freshly made ( never taste like refrigerator ) excellent allll around ! VERY VERY clean welcoming atmosphere - Having worked in farmers markets most of my life, including owning my own place, I can attest to the exceptionally high standards. Negative reviews often stem from those seeking cheap quality--clearly not the market's clientele. If you're not appreciating top-notch products , kindly go elsewhere; this place is for those who truly value excellence in my humble opinion - I am so appreciative to have found this place and to be able to share it with friends and family I ate all my desserts from last night but we are picking up our Christmas order and more desserts so we will add this pictures when we do!
