The carriage and horse were in great condition. The driver was very friendly, neatly dressed, handled the horse so well we could tell they loved working together. We tried the special water, not sure it cured anything, but that was also a unique experience. The way the driver conveyed the history of the area made it all the more interesting. If we are back in the area we will book another carriage ride with Loon Meadow Farm.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility (both barns and all the pastures) as well as the condition of all the horses present. I got along well with the barn staff, did well with the horses as directed and felt the owners were friendly until the morning I was summarily dismissed for no valid reason. I was never paid. Great place-especially for riders and boarders, but as far as stable hands; beware the owners.

The…read moreresort told us no one was offering riding until June, so I started my internet search and found Mountain Creek Farm. Hilary responded promptly to my email request and was happy to oblige this week. She took care to explain the brushing and saddling process, took her around the ring teaching as she went, and then had her take care of her horse after the ride. I appreciated her attention and care with my daughter- she was really great. It was a lovely farm - we even saw a Doe and her two fawns, as well as a turkey while riding. I've recommended she be added to the resorts list for the future!
