I recently discovered that everything I thought I knew about balloons, was completely inaccurate…read more I had a very important event scheduled and was on my way to Party City to get a balloon for the conference room entrance. Before I left the office, I received a life-changing phone call (dramatic enough?). The voice on the other end said, "I heard you needed a special balloon presentation for your event this week..." First of all, I didn't know there were special balloon presentations. Secondly, "special" sounds like code for Expensive. But wait, I'm the guy who believes life should be a collection of memories of the best experiences possible (meals, time spent, etc.). Why should my philosophy not extend to the balloons I showcase for my special event? I have to be true to that, so I ordered a medium- sized special presentation. IT WAS MORE THAN WORTH IT! AND HUGE! Now you're wondering, is it expensive? The answer is, No. Think of it this way: A balloon bouquet from your average store would compare to a fast food dollar menu and the excellence of the artistic sculptures created by Details Exaggerated would compare to caviar (or the #1 Brisket on Texas Monthly's Top 50). I think that sums it up for you. Thanks to Karyn and her great team! I was impressed. Quick tip: If you think you want to pickup your order, make sure your vehicle is large enough to transport your purchase.
