Fast forward to planning our new honeymoon this spring and we decided on Tahiti with stays in Moorea and Bora Bora. Carol was able to keep our new trip within our original budget which was a huge plus. We opted to spend the little bit of extra money on trip insurance with everything going on and it paid off big time. When we arrived in Tahiti we ran into some issues with this wonderful pandemic going around. Thank god we had not only the trip insurance but Carol and her team as well. They stayed in constant contact with us despite us being 6 hours behind. She was able to transfer our reservation from our Bora Bora stay to extend our stay in Moorea due to some travel restrictions. She constantly reassured us everything was going to be fine through the most stressful week of our lives which was probably the best aspect of having her as our travel agent. Carol and her team at Farnesi Travel worked non stop and were in constant contact with us, the hotel, the airline and other contacts to make sure we had what we needed for not only our stay but to get home as well. We seriously cannot thank Carol enough. She was a god send. If you've ever thought about buying trip insurance I can tell you first hand it is worth every penny. She recommended a hotel in London where she had personal experience and said she would contact them to let them know we were coming. The hotel was lovely and the staff treated us exceptionally. The manager greeted us and wanted to make sure we were totally happy. I never would have located this hotel online nor received the personal service. Donna set up transportation for us and made other recommendations as well as information/rates about insuring our vacation. I supplemented all the information provided by Donna with online searches. I was never contacted by the airline because they had no contact information at all for me. They only had Michael's contact information and he was conveniently out of the country at the time. It cost me $5000 for new tickets for the four of us to fly from a different city a day later. Our return tickets were then canceled by the airline and I spent the entire trip trying to get them reinstated. He didn't care to help me and actually sent me an email stating I "am ungrateful. You need to get your act together." So I spent another $5000 getting back to the US on my own. It was a very stressful trip and he did not do his job. And then he had the nerve to blame me for all the problems.

I was actually hoping to use you for another 2026 trip since you were not available for my "upcoming 2026 trip" but after the rude and argumentative attitude by you during our conversation yesterday, I would rather walk to PHL. You mentioned numerous times you were an ex U.S. Marine and each time you said that, I thanked you for your service but the fact that you were an ex U.S. Marine does not give you the right to speak to me the way you did. You may not know, but I am a senior citizen and you should have given me the respect due to any human being, especially a senior citizen.
