He numbed me and came back about 10 minutes later. From many years experience with dentists, I know when I not numb, so when he started yanking on my tooth, I immediately felt pain and raised my hand. I told him I felt pain, so he gave me more novacaine, but instead of waiting 10 minutes like before, this guy started yanking on the tooth right away! Again, I felt pain, raised my hand and said, "I can still feel that." He was behind me, and I could feel and hear an abrupt move that he made, and then I saw the plastic glasses he was wearing FLYING THROUGH THE AIR AND LANDING ON THE COUNTER ACROSS THE ROOM, followed by him saying, "I'm going to have to come back then!" in an obviously irritated manner. I would NEVER go back to this guy again. He's RUDE!!!

That's exactly how he runs it. Ghetto! He's also very cunning when it comes to having you get procedures done. I went in to get an extraction, his son left the other half of the tooth in because he told him to. This left me in major pain until I went back. He gave me a root canal on the tooth in front of it having me think the pain could have been coming from there when it was never in pain and I could've gotten a filling. I needed a root canal on my front tooth, which would then need a crown. He talks me into getting both front teeth done so that both crowns could match and be the same color. What happens? The first crowns that came back were yellow and too small. He broke them being heavy handed. Second set that came in, one crown was perfect and the other was dark on the bottom. The third set that her reordered, yellow and didn't match my teeth and the left one was too small. Imagine how many visits this took! He has patients waiting like they're in the aid office. I left once when I came back the next week, he got smart about it. He filed my lower teeth without my consent. Dr. Townsend put his penis on my right arm three times, gave me two hugs, pressing my breast against his chest and told me that I was sexy as hell, one day, when I stood up from the chair. He supposed to be a Jehovah's Witness! The root canal that he did on my front tooth is faulty. He did an overfill on it that he tried to redo. I'm still in pain an overfill causes pain and can cause permanent nerve damage. I had to go to another dentist. The office is clean. I don't have to wait. He's young, bright and still excited about being a dentist. I wish I never met Townsend because he caused me such pain, confusion and misery over a dollar sign. Please don't go to this office! P.S. He doesn't have all of the equipment that he needs and he doesn't keep good notes of the procedures that he's performed. He charged me for two root canals that he forgot that he did.

Due to the root shape and brittle-ness of the tooth, my general dentist didn't want to touch it. I called Dr. Familaro's office and they got me in super quick. The staff was attentive and warm. They made me feel comfortable and were quite personable. They went over all the options for treatment and explained the cost and requirements. They even did their best to low-key steer me away from unnecessary expenses, like anesthesia. The office is spotless and they take all precautions, from immediate hand sanitizer to fist bumps. Doctor Bob is kind and friendly, like hanging out with your cool uncle at a family gathering. He had my "difficult" extraction out in no time and explained all the post extraction stuff I would need to pay attention to. The staff even called me to check in a few days later! If you need work done, you owe it to yourself to get it done by doctor Bob. You won't be disappointed.

Plan of care was discussed and planned during the eval visit. Written information re post op care was given, along with a written estimate of charges and anticipated insurance reimbursement. Payment options and expectations were clearly communicated, and date for procedure was set. Actual procedure went according to plan, no surprises (thankfully!). Post procedure care was reviewed, and I received a follow up call later in the day to see how things were going. Follow up visit scheduled in a week. Let's face it, dental procedures are not fun, but Dr. Bob's processes make it about as good as it is going to be!

Often times, when you aren't a patient of ones office AND your aren't calling to schedule an appointment - you are generally rushed off the phone or told a million a times you need to schedule an appointment. He explains everything, checks in to make sure I'm comfortable, and makes me laugh. The entire team is seriously awesome, especially Jasmine at the front desk. I'm scatterbrained and forget to ask things in the moment, but she always answers my follow-up questions with patience and detail. I never feel rushed with her or anyone here. In the past four weeks, I've had a ton of work done. Extractions and restorations (no more silver fillings!) and even with the extractions, I had minimal pain and swelling. The restorations look fantastic, and I actually can't stop smiling. Am I actually starting to enjoy going to the dentist because of this place? Yep. Absolutely.
