This is a place for healing, where they take time to learn your body. You're never pushed into painful unnecessary massage techniques too early. Every massage was so thoughtfully done and catered to my current state, I can recommend their massage specialists enough! When looking for post-op after care you want it to feel like home, and this is exactly what Magic Post op was for me! Did I also mention their healing herbal tea is amazing? The recommendations for the supplies I would need such as rajas, foams and boards were spot on. The ones I originally got were not the best but based of their recommendations I as able to get the exact level of compression I needed. They also referred me to alteration specialists to adjust my faja as my size changed during the recovery. The attention to detail, the quality of the oils and just the overall atmosphere was such a healing experience. These licensed professionals give you step-by-step instructions on what to do and how to care for yourself day-to-day at home as well, because post-op care is underrated. They perform MLD safely and professionally without the need to reopen my incisions (thank God!) I was worried that the fluid would get backed up in me, but the treatment was so effective that i began purging through my bowel and urine right away as soon as i got home just as my doctor advised me that i would after my MLD sessions. The sweetest and most nurturing person you'll meet, she definitely knows what she's doing and will educate you on post-op care and give you some useful tips to expedite your healing journey. Theresa is the welcoming bubbly admin who is always kind to offer you home-brewed pineapple tea or mushroom coffee (or both) and delicious fresh healthy snacks. It honestly feels so cozy being there that you almost don't want to leave when the sessions are over. I have done 20+ lymphatic drainage sessions at Magic Post Op which helped me tremendously in my healing process. This business does have a no-show or same day cancellation policy like any place should. Hands down I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place. It is a GEM . Parking is a bit of a pain to find so come early enough to give yourself time. The lady is a doll and is super sweet. Upon arrival, she had us (me and my partner) use the restroom to wash our hands then had us sit on her couch. She offered us some refreshments and tea. I went first while my boyfriend relaxed on the hammock. I have to say this message was the best I think I've ever had. As far as her service goes if I can give her higher than a 5 I would. I'm used to getting lymphatic massages and wanted to try a place closer to home. Website lists specific services offered at each session... never was consistent or the same with treatment, tried to blame the surgeon for not telling me something about lymphatic massages when in fact it was wrong. Used the cavitation machine only twice which is specifically why I wanted to come here in the first place.. then got the excuse that it causes arthritis (this is what I was told by Mimi). I did receive cupping and a wooden tool that was all. For the price, not worth it. When asked about the initial 125$ deposit and what it would be used towards I never received an answer and the last session was cancelled. There was always an excuse and Theresa the account manager was beyond disrespectful and unprofessional. Waste of money and time. Take your services elsewhere ladies. read more

Service is very subpar for a post op center. The owner definitely gives off a strong vibe of please don't bleed or touch anything if you're draining fluids. My massages were cut short by her talking, answering phones, entertaining guest and answering the door. She will also video you in your most vulnerable time of discomfort without consent. I honestly wanted to give it a chance but I would not recommend or waste money on post op massages at magic post op! The beginning of this week, my body was telling me that it need a serious massage, which was long over due since the last one I had was on a Carnival Cruise Line in December.. Once I got to the Suite, and Murielle open the door, I was transported to a Tranquil safe space in Brooklyn. Once I stepped in the room I was welcome to a lovely scented Oasis, not overpowering, it was just right for the senses.. After taking off my coat and a brief chat with Murielle.. I was ready for the massage session. She made me feel very comfortable, once the massage session began Murielle worked her Magic I can feel all the tension being expelled out of my body. She is petite in stature, but don't let that fool you, she has mighty hands and fingers. I can say from all other massages I ever had this one was on a whole different level, the other massages seem generic now. Murielle had a her own unique way with connecting with my body. I was having a morning. You know one of THOSE mornings? The morning where, once you wake up you know the exact plan throughout the day until you actively start the day and nothing goes as planned? Before reaching Murielle, for my 9AM appointment, a series of unfortunate events happened (1) my phone screen shattered (2) my daughter reaches school on time, @8:20 however (3) I got to my sons school at 8:45am with not enough time to commit to my 9am appointment. A few years ago, my ex fiancé bought me a pair of BEBE heels, which I loved. One night while we were going out I was on 3 glasses of red wine, and clinging to his arm for support however I sprained my left foot. Months later we broke up. My foot has never felt better. When I finally arrived to Magic Journey Spa, i was Laaaaattte like capital 'L' late. Almost 30 mins late. Upon arriving, I was met with a bright soul who encouraged me to settle myself, by drinking warm ginger/herbal tea and by feeding me alkaline foods (grapes figs, nuts). The atmosphere was very warm and so I undressed, I showed Murielle my foot and requested her to focus on this area of my body the most. Soon after, I laid upon the table and alllllllll of these thoughts flooded me-- I remembered I needed to make an apple appointment to get my screen replaced, I needed to go to the garden, I needed to fix something for my husband, I needed to do so many things while still laying down on this table. I paused my body and released those thoughts once I felt cool hands touch my body. I felt my breath match the pace with the sounds of the music in the background. Murielle paid close attention to my needs, and I like the way she responded to my body. My favorite part was when she added the warm stones.
