Quality family fun. Growing up, Magic Mountain was the spot. Had not visited in at least 10 years, then brought the whole family to take a trip down memory lane- upset we hadn't sooner! The deals on attractions/food/tokens were affordable and worth-while. We golfed, played games, ate pizza, and rode go-karts. As an overview, the place is older. Not dirty per say, but doesn't scream clean. Bathrooms are the cleanest in the building, though. Pizza wasn't bad at all! Golf was decent. Go-karts were fun. Most of my party had never ridden before, so not sure what to compare to. The games were great. A few machines down and a few that ate your tokens. Staff is AWESOME. Manager Josh especially was so kind and helpful to our party of 9. Overall, I think the adults had more fun than the small children. read more

Been decades since I went to a Magic Mountain. And this shows its age a bit compared to newer "play places," but the kids loved it and the adults held up fine. We went for a birthday party, and I saw the staff being helpful and friendly with setup, etc. Plus when I had things to do at the counter those folks were friendly too. The kids spent all their time in the playground area and the arcade. Hard to get them to stop. We could also have done bumper cars, go carts, putt putt, etc., but they weren't interested. The mini golf course looked pretty big and pretty nice. It wasn't crowded on a Saturday early afternoon, which was much appreciated. A decent crowd, but not crazy, and not many screaming kids running around. All more or less in line. There's a lot to do, and though I didn't pay so don't know what a party costs, I will look into it for Kid K's next. Plenty of parking. I missed the turn; look for the sign and narrow drive between two car dealers, and you have to head back off the road a bit. read more

This place is pretty bare bones. Went here with my man and my bonus kiddo for a fun afternoon, and we were all pretty overwhelmed very quickly. Groupon had a deal for 1 activity (bumper cars or mini golf) and 20 arcade tokens for 4 people for only $25, so we went with that to start, although we originally planned to also buy more tokens later, depending on what the wünderkind wanted to do. Note: the bumper cars are horribly squeaky and smell like burnt rubber, so idk how those kids were enjoying it. Then again, I also suffer from migraines, and certain strong smells can trigger them, so maybe my nose is overly sensitive compared to yours. YMMV. Since it was just the three of us, the guy at the counter was kind enough to just give us extra tokens in lieu of a 4th person playing mini golf. The golfing was fun, but I definitely saw what people were talking about when they mentioned the debris everywhere. In some areas, it's unavoidable, since some parts of the course are directly under trees. Leaves are going to fall there, you know? We finished our game and left to have dinner, then came back to enjoy the arcade after. This turned out to be a wonderful plan, because the place was PACKED when we arrived, and you couldn't have any sort of personal space. It was...a lot. That's not on Magic Mountain, I'm just saying. We went back an hour before closing, and it was nearly empty, which was perfect for us. Literally 1/3 of the games were broken, including the first two games that I tried. WHY HAVE AN ARCADE IF YOU DON'T DO S#@T TO FIX THEM?! It's beyond ridiculous, you're basically stealing people's money at this point. Overall, I'd come back if the kiddo wants to come back for some arcade games, but we're already looking for other arcades and activities to take him to. They get two stars because we had fun despite the glaring shortcomings. read more

It was a cold day so I decided to take my little ones to Magic Mountain. The place was pretty packed and it looks like they fixed some of the broken machines and added a few new arcade machines. The jungle gym was actively being monitored by staff this time. It looks like they are taking some steps in the right direction. The staff seemed to be professional and courteous. My daughter loved the jungle gym, so I feel like we may make some more trips here in the future. The games are a bit expensive, most of them cost 4 tokens to play. read more

Horribly maintained putt putt golf course. The entire arcade was dirty, half the machines are not working. The golf course was the worse though. Quite frankly it's a lawsuit waiting to happen. Broken stairs rail road ties sticking up out of the ground everywhere. Trash everywhere. My nephews were on the go cart course and the workers were completely unprofessional, he wanted the boys to stop and just threw cones into the middle of the track and when they didn't see the signal to stop he got upset and threw a sign. Very sad this place us to be nice! I spent $65 and half the games wasn't even working or didn't give tickets. My daughter couldn't play in the small kids only gym because big kids in area. Told front desk and she said then don't go then!! What this is crazy! then BBC she said it's parents with young kids. All the putting surfaces are covered with goose poop and BLACK MOLD. Very poor condition. All of the water looks and smells like sewer water. Absolutely no customer service. Ball pit and tubes smell like puke. Avoid this place at all cost. read more

We took our grandchildren here today. It is a one and done kinda place. It is dirty and run down. A bunch of kids are "running" it. A very poor experience. We will never return to Magic Mountain. Atrocious customer service, staff clearly have little to no customer service training, terrible management. I see all of these bad reviews on Google & on Yelp. But I am the only one who actually gave a bad review with the BBB. They still have an A+ rating. More people need to go to the BBB. I called the corporate office & made a complaint. The woman at the corporate office had terrible customer service also. Her apology was so insincere she could've kept it to herself. A while back, Greg and I had the pleasure of entertaining his two little cousins Jack and Andrew, ages eight and thirteen. They were in town from Arizona sans parents for two weeks. We were constantly looking for things to do to keep them busy and prevent them from arguing with each other. One of our most successful outings was to Magic Mountain Fun Center East. It was sunny when we got there and began our round of miniature golf. But, this is Ohio, and within an hour the sun gave way to a gray sky and a torrential downpour. That didn't stop us from finishing our game. We were soaked to the bone, but with no lightning, we didn't feel we were at risk. The rain soaked the carpeted greens and hampered my game a bit. I had quite the lead before it started, but by the last hole, Greg suckered me by three strokes. Back inside, we munched on pizza then geared up for arcade games. We played the classics like pinball and air hockey, then got a little more competitive on the interactive racing horses. Greg and I mounted the artificial stallions and jumped up and down working up a gallop until my calves nearly fell out of my legs. Needless to say, I lost the race. Meanwhile, Jack and Andrew were exchanging their tickets with some slightly disgruntled employees for sticky hands, which they later flung at each other until another fight ensued. Also at the fun center were an indoor playland for kids, batting cages, and separate go-cart tracks for both adult and pint size drivers 48-58" tall. Greg and I decided to save those activities for next year's visit from the kids. Once we've tried everything at Magic Mountain East, we may have to upgrade to the Polaris center to test out the bumper boats and the laser tag arena. read more

This place used to be decent but it has really gone down hill. The putt putt course is in pretty bad shape. Some holes are unplayable due to water. Lots of sticks, limbs or other debris on the hikes makes it challenging to putt putt. The carpet is very weathered and black in lots of places - looks moldy. I really hope it makes a comeback but right now it's not going to be a place for our family to go for fun. read more

In some ways, I am quite fond of this place. They do a good job of keeping the 2 18-hole courses clear of water and debris. The indoor play area keeps kids busy and moving for quite a while. My son loves the go-carts, which have an unpleasant odor, but work fine and are always operated by these 2 young men who actually seem to want to be there. The arcade isn't huge, but it does the trick; I wouldn't go there just for that. I give it 4 stars rather than 5 due to the deteriorating parking lot and the fact that the whole place feels a little outdated. I've seen better mini golf and arcade, but it'll do. read more

How in the world is this place still running?? I have not been to this location in about 5 years and upon walking in, I know why. The floors in the main building are absolutely filthy and desperately need replaced. It's very evident that the care of this facility has fallen by the wayside. On a Friday night, we walked in around 7:15pm and the young high school staff was already putting chairs up on the tables and mopping the floor while texting on their phones. Neither of them noticed we were there until I physically had to walk up to them and ask to pay for mini golf. When I asked to pay, the young lady seemed extremely bothered that we were even there. Once we got out on the mini golf course, it was a mess. The turf was severely weathered and the mats that were supposed to hold the ball at the start of each hole were so worn down that it took way more effort than it should have to keep the ball in place. While not a lot, there was a fair amount of trash including greasy paper plates and cigarette cartons littered around the courses which really added to the ambiance of this classy establishment. Virtually every hold had some sort of defect like broken or dislodged bricks around the perimeter of the hole. We lost 4 balls trying to play the holes that have hidden tubes and had to go inside to get replacement balls. The best part is each time we went in, the staff was sitting in the kitchen on their phones and did not even noticed we walked in. We tried to get their attention and with no response, we just acquired replacement balls from the rack on the counter. The best part was that at 8:37, one of the girls turned off all the lights over the golf course and told us we had to leave. I respectfully told her that their hours are until 9pm and she gave we some smart ass comment and proceeded to kick us off the course. Once we got in the parking lot, we saw her jump in her boyfriends car and start making out with him. Very classy employees here. I would do anything I can to avoid this place and I will never think about coming back. read more

Have been here several times and have enjoyed taking my grandsons here when I am in town. Today was that kind of day for grandma and her babies to have some fun. We arrived about 11:30 and bought the 3 activity bracket for the two boys and one adult game of putt putt. We received the golf balls and were told to go Outside to retrieve our clubs. When we went outside no one was there and the boys ended up having to use adult golf clubs as there were no clubs that fit a 7-9 year old child. After putt putt they rode the small go carts and loved them. Since it was Sunday they had a special on arcade tokens and it was 120 tokens for $20. After the go karts and putt putt we all looked forward to playing some games. Here is were the major issues come in. We attempted skew ball, didn't work. Went up to counter and was just handed tokens for our loss. Went to play the spin the wheel pirates game. This game like many took out tokens and did not work. This time we were fortunate that a staff member came to inspect the game however after trying to reset it we once again were just handed additional tokens. I understand that they can't always fix a game immediately but today it seemed that the majority of games were out of order. When approaching staff about the issues they just looked at you, asked you how many tokens it was, handed you that many tokens, and then walked away. I am disappointed as this place used to be a lot of fun and I looked forward to Taking my grandsons here. I guess it is time to find something else to do since it seems no one cares about the operation of the games nor do the employees really seem to care. Had BD party here for 9 yr old nephew. Upon arrival had to look for a person to come to party check-in desk & it was at least 15 minutes before someone showed up. Once escorted to room floors were super sticky and my shoes were so nasty I had to clean them in the sink nearthe bathroom upstairs. Magic Mountain needs an intercom to make an announcement that the pizza and coins & gift bags have been placed on the tables because pizza is sitting getting cold & drinks turning into water. Knats all over the place flying around. Bathrooms were nasty as well. I would never ever come here again nor recommend anybody give a party at any of your locations. By the way one of my guest ordered a hotdog and had to wait 30 minutes it as she watch one of your workers wipe sweat off her brow 3 times with the plastic gloves she was working in. Do you enjoy chaos and the smell of cheese and vomit? If so, you might enjoy spending time in the lobby of Magic Mountain. A few years ago, I used to regularly play Dance Dance Revolution, and this place was the best place in town to do that (and still is). The arcade has a balcony area where most of the "grown-up" games are kept (i.e. the types of games that don't appeal to young kids), and up there, it's relatively peaceful. But down on the main floor.... yeesh. It's like a birthday party at the Duggar house, and they all brought their 50 best friends. I wouldn't recommend this place even if you have kids. Everything on the ground floor is coated in pizza grease and bacteria, and the sound of children screaming is constant. Outdoors, the batting cages are in poor working order, and they make you wear a weird-smelling, ill-fitting helmet with a face guard. I can't comment on the mini-golf course but it looks pretty lame from what I've seen. So unless you're coming here to play DDR, I don't recommend coming at all. read more

My kids love it here, they are 4 and 6. From a parents point of view only the play area is good. I like to bring my kids to play when the weather is bad. Outside of the play place is a money suck hole that is poorly kept and horribly laid out/maintained. The arcade is poisonous to joy. Half the games don't work, the ones that do are "crappy", as my six year old put it. The games are set on highest possible difficulty to increase turnaround time to new players. Prizes are ok but ticket payout is low so 20$ in tokens will net you about 1500 tickets, and that is if you are as awesome at basketball game as I am. The lure is putt - putt and go carts which I have used both but with other adults, not children. I won't comment on them other than it is not a good first date idea. The rest of the facility is a mystery to me as I never see them in use. The structure, staff, and general impression of the average customer is don't leave your stuff unattended and teach your kids about other kids who may not know of things like etiquette or manners or playing nicely or not biting or general civility. Also some street fighting maybe required. This place can actually realize some of your worst nightmares as a parent if you are not careful. Proceed with caution and mace. read more

I have to say I'm shocked that this place is still running. Since I can remember it as a kid. But it's one of the few places with a large style jungle gym which my daughter absolutely loved. It was also a decent price for toddler Thursday. I also saw everyone cleaning up all the games which was nice. Visited magic mountain today after reading their hours online. Online reads that Mon-Thurs go-karts are open from 5pm-9pm. So after stopping in and going to buy tickets, we're told the go karts "don't operate on weekdays". website needs updated so people don't waste their gas. read more

I booked my son's sixth birthday party here and I was really impressed actually. I read reviews after booking the party and was really nervous about it after reading them. Maybe that helped lower my expectations, but our party host was very kind and helpful - she literally did everything I asked to help make the party run smoothly. They had a lot of arcade games with only a few not working (which was expected). The pricing was also amazing for all that they provide. I also used their coupons so we got double tokens and $20 off our party. There's no way we could have done our own party for the amount we paid here. And the kids had a blast! One of the staff members made our experience even better by helping my son get a prize he really wanted but didn't have all the tickets for. The only a suggestion I have is to get rid of that Lazer frenzy thing - it literally did nothing.. I wish they had Lazer tag! read more

I liked the course, it was fun and challenging. Watch out for hole 9 on the course below the castle...the hole doesn't spit the ball back out! We went at 9:30pm on a Saturday night in April and it was nice and quiet and not too many people were out in the course which made the night more leisurely (cause you know that feeling when there's a group behind you and YOU KNOW they're wishing you went faster). I wish the course was cleaned up a little bit more, there was lots of leaves and dirt and wood chips all over the green and that made a mess sometimes. read more

We are from out of town, we decided to meet some friends here so our kids could run around. I am still in shock over how poorly the place is ran. We paid to let our littles go play in the play area which wasn't even necessary since several people just walked in without a wristband or without paying. There was an employee sitting by the gate letting kids in and out...well, that's what she was supposed to be doing...but she was sitting on her phone. If someone opened the gate, she didn't even bother to get up and close it again. Little kids ran out and the parents had to chase after them since the gate was left open. The ball pit was a disaster. There were several kids fast pitching balls at other kids. Nobody cared. At least 3 kids came out bawling bc they got hit in the face. The employee was still hunched over looking at her phone. The bathroom was disgusting. There were other employees behind the prize counter on their phones and eating. It seems like the whole place was ran by teens who couldn't care less about being even the slightest bit professional. I can promise you that we will never be back and I plan to warn as many people as I can not to go to this location! read more

Went here for mini golf, one of the most pathetic places I've played. Water features are over run by pond scum, muck and algae, pretty gross and mosquito infested. Also, $7 per person for 18 holes is crap, especially since there were wait times for people to finish their play, and the confusing sales system took us 15 minutes to figure out you had to purchase mini golf,,, from the snack bar... I hope their north columbus location is better, sure as hell wont be going back here anytime soon. read more

Haven't been to this location in a while, used to go all the time as a teen and loved it. They should be absolutely embarrassed though. I hate writing negative reviews but their miniature golf course is a joke. It was $14 for me and my son (7) to gold one round ... Expensive considering you can go to nicer places like Westerville golf center for $4 each. But hey it's close and I wanted to have some fun with the kiddo..... The course is in the worst shape ice ever seen a course in anywhere. There were a few greens that were black almost , muddy holes , the ball won't even stop because the greens are so worn. I will never pay for golf there again unless it's fixed. I'll drive 20 miles to Westerville. They should feel terrible charging people that much read more

I read a few negative reviews, and was hesitant to go, but my nephew loves it. Needless to say we went. I was blown away by my experience. The staff was so friendly, and very attentive. The prices are a little high, but all family fun centers are. The facility is really clean despite being an older facility. The family pack is a great deal. 30$ for four activities, a large pizza, and a pitcher of soda. The pizza is really good as well. We will definitely be back. read more
