Unfortunately the roses, all of them, appeared to have been frost bitten were delivered on Sat. By Sun it was clear they were inferior quality. By Mon droopy and Tues I pulled them out. Maybe they thought they could get rid of bad flowers cause the order originated from out of state. I phoned to let them know the flowers were inferior quality, did not even last till Mother's Day. I was accused of placing them near to heat or cold, maybe I did not water them. I kept them on quartz countertop. So if you're sending flowers, run fast, run far from the Flower Loft.

We had the privilege of working with Emily and Breanna who made planning the event very easy and stress free. I appreciated their guidance and suggestions when selecting our menu choices. Breanna was very accommodating and let me come early to decorate the room for our dinner. She checked in with us while decorating and during the dinner to make sure everything was to our liking. My daughter had her wedding and reception at this venue recently and we will not be using their…read moreservices in the future or recommending them. The venue is pretty much a huge banquet hall that uses a curtain to divide up the room for smaller groups in order for it to not look quite as big. We were not given access in order to further set up and rehearse the night before instead we were told that we would have enough time before guests arrived. We had agreed on us arriving 30 minutes prior to guests in order for us to be able to setup and go over a quick rehearsal, however, this was not the case because we were not allowed into the hall and all doors were locked. After the DJ opened the door to allow a few of the bridal party inside the owner came unglued and started ranting. She told us we needed to wait until the official time when guests would arrive. So now we have guests arriving with nothing setup and we have still yet to rehearse. It's pouring outside and the owner refuses to allow guests to come in or at least stand in the entry way until her watch precisely says the exact time. The wedding invitation stated 4:00 so typically guests will arrive a few minutes early. The doors are still locked. It's windy, raining and cold outside and our guests are getting soaked so we open the door to allow them in only to stay in the entry way. The owner becomes very upset and insisted guests return to their car and wait. This is a special day where guests are dressed in their best for a wedding and they're getting soaked. There was really no reason the guests could not come in a couple of minutes early to get out of the rain. The tables, chairs and the decor the venue offered had been set up a couple weeks in advance so there was nothing for them to set up for since there hadn't been an event booked for a couple weeks prior to their wedding Another issue we had was there is absolutely no parking designated just for the bridal party especially the bride to pull up close to the back entrance and hurry to get out of the rain. There is also no dressing room for her to do a few last minute touches or a safe place to store items away like purses and cell phones. It was really hard to hear the ceremony without a mic even from upfront let alone those sitting off to the back of the room. We asked if we could use a mic and was told there was not one available. During the wedding ceremony the owner was showing the venue on two seperate occations to potential clients VERY rude and unprofessional.. and yes I do have photos proving this. This is not the time to be showing off your venue to potential clients!! Putting a wedding together is stressful enough but this experience added a lot of unnecessary additional stress for everyone involved. For an owner, operator and hostess working with the public she was not helpful, friendly or flexible. Unless you absolutely have no other options available I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.
