We were very disappointed with Magic Event and will not be using them ever again. My advice to anyone else would be to also not use. They seem to have very good reviews on their website, I emailed them to express my disappointment, their response was that they "rated the event 5/5", it seems the rating in their website are their own opinions not the opinions of their clients.
They said they would attend on the Friday night, they didn't turn up or call to let us know. Eventually they called back after numerous calls, their excuse was that their van had broken down.
No contact on the Saturday morning either, whilst preparing for our wedding we were sorting out a sound bar to use as we had lost all confidence in Magic Event.
They did eventually make contact with further excuses and did set up. They complained they did not have enough room however should they have turned up when they said they would we could have planned with them.
Lighting was not what they advertised. It seems there was a lit DJ, some very small flames and a ceiling laser. No smoke machine or any other disco style lights. They claimed they had these but it may have been they chose not to use them. They said they used extra uplighters which was nice but not necessary and did not make up for the additional stress and anxiety they caused.
In emails with them they expressed they did not profit from our event due to their broken down van, not relevant or necessary for us to know. They have also tried claiming another suppliers white backdrop and fairy-lights decorations as their own.
Opportunities to put this right we're given and multiple emails exchanged with them. They responded with numerous excuses and photographs, sadly these did not make up for the issues.
In my opinion this company is not worth using for the extra anxiety, stress, non communication and inconvenience caused to us. read more
