For context: we had an appointment scheduled Dec 9 at 4:30 pm. On Dec. 8 I called in the morning to see if I can reschedule and the person I spoke with said they'll give me a call back at the end of the day for a new date and time. Never got a call, but I figured they were busy and that we'll just make the original appointment work. On Dec. 9, I called an hour before the appt and said that we were running late because of school traffic and asked if I could bump her appt down to 4:45 instead of the original 4:30. They said it was fine and they'll see us then. We got there a little after 4:50 and when I went to check in they said they couldn't see us because we were 15 mins past the grace period. I told them that wasn't right, because our appt was at 4:45. They said they had us down for 4:30, so I explained the call I made the day before attempting to reschedule and the call I made that same day where they said I could come in at 4:45. The lady said since the call center took my call, they have no record in their system and therefore have to forfeit my appt because all the doctor's were booked. Lady tried to say the miscommunication with them has been an ongoing issue, and that there was nothing she could do. Very disappointing given the miscommunication was on THEIR end. You would think they would've done something differently since they have actively known about the issue. Shame that 8 years of loyalty have gone down the drain over an issue that they were aware of. My daughter now goes to my dentist, Dr. Taha over at the ToothBooth. My husband and I have been going there for at least 6 years and we have never had any issues. They always go above and beyond, especially in communicating. Within a week I had an appt there for my daughter and she was in and out in less than 45 mins. for her cleaning/check up. I was scared at first but I'm happy they sent me here because the process was so smooth! When I first stepped in to schedule my surgery, the young lady at the front, Jessica, was super nice and made scheduling the appointment very easy. They pretty much verified everything with my insurance before hand and all I had to do was show up. The price I ended up paying was not exactly cheap but it was lower than another place that had previously quoted me. The whole staff has THE BEST bedside manner! Everyone was very helpful and informative. I never felt as though they didn't go over everything with me, they were thorough and to the point. The day of my surgery, I ended up getting 6 teeth removed, my 4 wisdom and 2 others. Dr. Millwala is great! He went over my x-rays with me, explained what he was going to do during the surgery, went over after care with me and my bf and assured me I had nothing to worry about. If I'm being honest, I was nervous as hell! But they really did put me at ease. I chose to be sedated for the procedure, and the staff worked hard at making sure I was comfortable while they were preparing. Afterwards, they helped me out of the office in a wheelchair (nice touch!) so that I could safely get to my ride. The day after my wisdom tooth extraction, they called to see how I was doing. Aside from the normal soreness and swelling, I was fine. I already had a post-op follow up appointment with them and everything went well. But above all, their professionalism and care have honestly blown me away. On the after care instructions, they provided a number where I could reach Dr. Millwala day or night. Which came in handy recently when I had a question, I texted him and he answered me almost instantly. I've never had any health care professional do that for me. Today I called Trinity Dental in Katy. I asked two questions, how much would it cost to have a crown put back on and can someone do it today. I was told yes today and the cost would be $59.00. I get to the front desk and they tell me it will be $79.00. They agreed to honor the original price of $59.00 and i paid. The crown is set back on the tooth with no glue. They leave the room and come back telling me it will be an additional $75.00 to do the glue. SO SO wrong!!! three different prices and I have a loose crown, no glue. WHY!! I asked how much to have the crown glued. I agreed to the price. THATS all. I will never use this office again. Be very careful people!!! They got my money and i got nothing that i asked for................SO SO SO WRONG!!
