This event had 2 levels with marked signs or staff to assist. Food vendors are around but lines did look long so I didn't attempt. Facilities are clean and plentiful. It is a massive convention center but I found things easily by their map or asking staff. Seems to have very good capacity without feeling overly crowded. Lines inside are managed well.

The event was from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and using my better judgment, we took an Uber to and from the location. Arriving about a half hour before the doors opened, the line was quite long for the VIP entry, but once the doors opened, we entered in a matter of five minutes, and the festivities began. The vibe was Pop Culture with patrons of all flavors, and everyone was sporting their personal fashion statement and personality. The place was filled with the non-stop grooves played by the resident DJ, and everyone grooved to the beats as they savored the numerous delicious chef-created bites and chased them with the various whiskeys, tequila shots, cocktails, and brews available for consumption. I arrived to the confession week by myself in my dream dress with no expectations. The venue space is very classy with much room for people to work from their laptops, host meetings, network, party, set up shop, and celebrate. I had the time of my life admiring the sustainable fashion brands and meeting such beautiful souls! I have to dock off one star because it's confusing to navigate the different buildings at times. Apparently, there were two different fashion events in the same center but they were separated by the buildings (one was vegan Fashion Week and another was a boutique market for vendors and wholesalers). The directions for where to go are not straightforward so a map in front of the building would help. Moreover, beware of building 2's rooftop if you have a dying phone or laptop! All the outlets on the work table by the wall were NOT functional!

Came here for Fate Grand Order USA Tour event!…read more This event only used the first floor, panel room, a very small part of the second floor for a display and stamp rally, and the 13th floor exhibition room. I guess other floors are used for tenants or other businesses? The ceiling is pretty high for the first floor, thus allowing the Fate Memorial Display to take up the front half and it accommodated the long, grueling merchandise line. On the first floor there is also a food court and what seems to be some small retail space. 13th floor was quite spacious and had this kind of like warehouse, Ikea feel to it. It fit all the displays and cut outs, event stages, just fine. The auditory quality of the floor was pretty good, thus allowing several stages to operate at once without one overpowering the other. Not once did it get so crowded on this floor that people couldn't move. Lighting was a bit questionable in some areas only because it obscured some of the displays and made the photos not as nice. This may have just been an organizational layout issue with the event itself. The panel room had good acoustics and enough space to accommodate the crowds that were there to watch the special shows. My issue was with the two pillars in the middle of the room that obscured so much of the view for a lot of the seats (there were TV screens that simultaneously showed what was going on to mitigate this, but I felt like it took away from the experience overall). On the busiest day of the event, I really needed to use the rest room while I was on the first floor and I guess there was only one rest room that was ENTIRELY closed off, so I was instructed to just go on the 13th floor. That was really annoying. Additionally, I do not recall seeing any water fountain, so that left many a Fate nerd dehydrated that weekend. Other than that, I think it was a fair venue to host this event.

It's unique lot layout with patio style furniture and fixtures makes it feel like a party in the coolest backyard. From vendor marts, to comedy shows, queer mixers, foodie days and beyond. I got to experience Temple Grounds as part of an event Sabo No Sabo, an LGBTQ+ BIPOC party group spreading visibility & bridging gaps ‍, cool vendors #ShopSmallSupportLocal - incredible DJ Carmen (basically a younger version of Dj Irene - if you know you know), incredible performances, excellent drag show and plenty of libations. Parking might be the only challenge, but LA Metro runs pretty frequently along Temple Street and rideshare is relatively easy. Portable bathroom on site w/ hand washing station. Natural lighting and string lights at night. Murals of incredible art. Plants for sale. And the kindness coolest laidback owner, Nancy running the show. Queer owned. Woman owned. I went to this venue May 2026 for a stand up show…read more I took the metro to the Chinatown station and walked 15ish minutes to the venue. (You walk along the Historic LA park). It felt safe overall walking at 6pm even with the homeless in the area, because there were a lot of locals out walking with their family/pets. The walk back to the station was a little more concerning, highly recommend not being solo on the way back - it's just not well illuminated along Spring St in portions. The venue itself is lovely and very safe feeling but the surrounding areas at times feel sketchy. I did public transport because I was worried parking would be an issue, but it seems there was actually plenty of parking down the street since it's so close to the park. I would advise parking in the lot on the other side of Spring St. The check in was easy, they check your ID and give you a wristband if you want to drink. There's a sweetly arranged outside area for hanging out and the bar inside was well decorated. The venue was nice, though I sat in I1 and I had my view partially blocked by a pole (it wasn't too bad because I was watching stand up and he moved around a lot, but I imagine it may be annoying for other types of shows or performances). Would totally visit an event here again.

It's a brand-new space with some cool aesthetic touches, like the wooden sculptural features on either side of the stage. Images of old rock show flyers decorated the main interior walls. Bartenders were cool and the drink prices weren't too bad. Speaking of drinks, I'm a fan of their frozen pina coladas. Their patio was really nice, with lots of seating, string lights, and cool murals. At the far end of said patio was their on-site food vendor, Badmaash, a well-known DTLA Indian fusion joint. They had a very limited menu but did have a couple of veg items. The hubby and I shared an order of masala fries, which we thought were very tasty. The concert was great, and we really enjoyed ourselves. As for parking, there was a $15 lot close by, which isn't a bad deal at all, but we were able to find street parking since we got there early. If we see any other acts we like come through we'd definitely come back.

I'm a huge Coraline fan, so when I found out this gallery was hosting a Coraline exhibit, I knew I…read morehad to check it out! My niece is a huge fan too, so I took her with me. We arrived right when they opened at noon, and admission was $15. The exhibit runs through June 17th. We practically had the whole gallery to ourselves, which made the experience even more enjoyable. There were so many amazing pieces of Coraline inspired artwork, and the entire gallery was decorated super cool. One of the rooms was designed similar to a scene from the movie, which was such a cool touch! Outside, they also had props and characters like Wybie and Mr. Bobinsky that made it for more picture perfect. We had such a wonderful time visiting this exhibit and would definitely recommend it to any Coraline fan!

We were actually killing time (pun intended) looking for the Myers house and some filming locations from (my favorite) Halloween. I follow the SugarMynt on social media and see all the awesome events they hold but have never been. They had a really cool Coroline exhibit going on. I was able to pick up a few things for my daughter and Mom for their birthdays. They have some unique artwork and gifts and are reasonably priced. Staff was super nice. Great day get away!!!

We found out after constant knocking on the door that the entrance is in the alley. The venue is for small groups only and has nice clean restrooms. They could add more tables and chairs to make it more comfortable.

I went to an Adobe Express event here and was really impressed by the space. The venue had good…read morelighting, audio, and felt very open. There were also garages on the side that could open up. Since it's indoor, noise can travel and echo so it can be hard to hear during presentations. There was a big bar (with the friendliest bartenders) and a lower area past the stairs that extended into a mingling area. It was also great to see an outdoor patio (faces the street) so that is an added benefit for getting some air. Parking can be challenging around the area since it's in the Fashion District. I was able to find inexpensive street parking for 50 cents an hr but most streets had 2 hr parking limit. There were some $5 lots for event parking but I can imagine for bigger events it can be tough.
