My best friends wedding was today and everything was going perfect. We were leading up to the big night and setup was taking place. The bride and groom came early to help setup and welcome a few guests. Mager Designs had a crew come and set up the wedding. Everything was going as planned until 1 hour before the arrival of the guests. The lady leading the setup decided to pull her crew before completing one of the most important parts of the wedding, the stage for the bride and groom. They forgot accessories, did not complete the stage and made a final decision to leave before consulting either the bride or grooms families. After the grooms side's Mother was noticeably upset about the incompletion of the work we tried to get ahold of Chris, the Owner of the company. Chris was rude, combative and tried blaming the wedding host for making last "minute" changes that were too much for them to handle. Chris said, "We do 200 wedding a year and I have never seen anyone complain over something so small". It was terrible customer service and they did not feel at all bad about the situation and did nothing to make it right. I hope that everyone reads this and gets a clear picture-that if you want your once in a lifetime opportunity to marry the person you love to be perfect, Mager Designs is not the company to work it. read more

My fiance and I had a meeting with this company on 10/29, after initially trying to set up a meeting much earlier than that, and failing to do so, due to being unable to reach them. After our meeting, I was told I would have a quote by the end of that week, if not by the beginning of the week after that, being that our wedding was coming up so soon (January 2020). After 3 weeks go by, I still haven't received a quote, and my fiance tries multiple times to call them (on Monday 11/18), and ends up leaving a message asking for someone to reach out to us. I still haven't heard anything back the entire week, so I call myself on that Friday (11/22) and ask once again for someone to please reach out to us with our quote. After the weekend, I get a call on Monday 11/25 that I will be emailed a quote by the end of the day. I did not receive a quote by the end of that day, nor did I receive one all week long. I called again on Monday 12/2, and left a message saying I was getting impatient, as it's now been 6 weeks since we'd met with them and still didn't even have a quote, and with our wedding getting closer, I would keep calling each day until someone finally reached out to me. Not once in the entire span of 6 weeks, of my fiance and I reaching out countless times, did we ever actually talk to someone on the phone. I was then emailed a quote hours later, with absolutely no apology whatsoever about the extreme lack of communication. The quote for the rental items was pretty fair in price, but the cost for set up and take down was absolutely outrageous, plus a sales tax charge. This made the set up and tear down fees, more than 50% of the total cost. Steer clear of this company. Not only is their communication extremely poor, but their prices for set up and take down are insane. We're now working with another company who luckily has our date still available, and who have already impressed us with quick communication and fair pricing.
