I really wish I could give this place a good review because they did have really cute stuff. Unfortunately however if you are a person of color, I would stay away from this shop. Last night my husband and I stopped by before going next door to watershed since we had some time to kill before our reservation at 8. When we arrived we were greeted by a woman which is what happened at most of the other shops. It wasn't until we got on the little platform stage area that I noticed the employee was following us, watching us throughout the store, if I looked over across the store at the wall of merchandise, she was staring back at us. I've worked in retail for over 8 years and I know the signs but I would only follow someone if they were being suspicious. As we got closer to the gloves she had mentioned there was a BOGO sale which I thought okay cool since it was chilly outside, when we started walking towards the front, she was walking right behind us almost like as if she was escorting us out, literally everything I pointed out to my husband that I thought was cute like their masks for instance, she would say yeah those are fun but they're not really protective since it's mesh. As I approached some jackets, she was right there hovering. I felt extremely uncomfortable during the entire visit. There's a difference between customer service and stalking and she was definitely doing the stalking part. Every other shop I went to, we were greeted and were told that if we needed anything else to let them know, the occasional "are you finding everything okay?" But nothing like the experience we had here. We ended up spending about $400 at another shop that was similar to this one and were extremely happy with our purchase and our visit. read more
