The menu is small; breakfast (until 11:00am), bread boards, soup, salad, omelet, pizza, toasties and their specialty limburgse vlaai. You need to ask what fruit pie flavours they have for the day (strawberry rhubarb, cherry and apricot were available from what we remember). - Latte macchiato (€2,95) - standard but you could clearly see the layers were separated. - Farmer's omelet (€7,75) - fresh veggies, ham and cheese. This was incredibly small. Omelet was bland and overcooked. Nothing good to say about it. - Bread board (€9,75) - three types of toasties (vegan, chicken and classic). Vegan had hummus, zucchini, carrots, red peppers and green onions. Chicken had a tasty homemade pesto, spinach and green onion. Classic had liver ham and green onions. We walked into Patisserie Jean Pierre and completely fell in love with the place. I felt like I was in wonderland. I was in town on business but I arrived early. Decided to walk around the town, that's when I run…read moreinto this shop. I wasn't in need of sweets, but I was just drawn into this shop. Walked by, saw so many sweets on display, how could one not resist? Cute displays of Liege waffles (looked like they won an award before), macarons, cakes, all colorful and inviting. I walked inside the shop just to admire more. Shop person didn't speak much English but said welcoming greetings in French. We don't need to speak the same language to feel welcomed. I really wanted to try their waffles but it was getting too close to lunch time. I purchased a dozen macarons to take home. I also really wanted to try their cakes, but I couldn't take home. I gave a dozen macarons to my friend when I got home and she really enjoyed them. I wish my French was fluent to express my gratitude to them with more words. I was really stressed at that time. Been surrounded by so many colorful sweets and their friendly smiles, they helped me become less tense. I left the shop with smiles, all I could say to them was "Merci beaucoup".

The people working there are always welcoming and smiley which makes me always wanna go back there, i never buy my croissant, pain au chocolat or waffles anywhere else because it is the best place i have gone to for a veeeery long time and it is hard to get better quality things with such an awesome service!!
