Mae Morgan came through in the clutch. After an emergency took away my home care aide 4 days before surgery I turned to yelp and found this gem. I called them LATE night on Saturday spoke to someone and they called me back on Monday to solidify my needs. Lorna was my Home Health Aide and she was the best. From handling things around the house to setting up and serving me lunch with flare!! I only needed them for 3 days but those days were filled with wondeful care. read more

Irene, Vicky, NUR, more ladies all of them were amazing the scheduling people are amazing as well. The beautiful thing is all these caretakers work was a team and explain to the next shift caretaker how mom is doing what's shes taking when the Nurses Doctors etc came buy, helping to order supplies they helped with everything! They worked LONG shifts 12 hour shifts and they are AMAZING fabulous DEPENDABLE! I cant say enough good things about this company! I trusted them with my mom that is EVERYTHINg!!!!! I highly recommend these caregivers and believe me we did try another company before them that were horrible!! These caretakers are the BEST !! read more

Mae Morgan agency provided amazing end of life care for my mom. She was initially given one week to live but lived for 5 more years! I attribute that in part to her sweet caregivers making her feel safe and well-taken care of. When she finally did die her caregivers were devastated! They really cared for her! read more

There are not enough words of gratitude that I can express over the love and care my mother received for four months. The caregivers that were assigned to my mother became members of our family. They were compassionate, caring, loving and knowledgeble. They showed concern for her comfort and made sure her last four months were peaceful. I cannot say enough about them and this company. My texts were answered quickly and brought me comfort. I will always be grateful to this company. read more

We chose Mae Morgan after a horrible experience with a different agency. The "live in" option was a huge relief for our dear friend who lived alone. The caregivers treated our friend with respect and compassion until the very end. read more

I am so thankful for the excellent service of Brenda at Mae Morgan. She was easy to communicate with and very responsive in finding excellent care for my elderly parents. Even when I was unable to give her a lot of advance notice, she was able to provide the care needed. The caregivers who arrived to assist my parents were all trustworthy, kind, wise, qualified individuals. I am so thankful for Mae Morgan Home Care and all they have done to help me help my parents. read more

This is very hard for me write as my dad passed away recently. My dad had advanced Parkinson's and it was getting harder for my mom to take care of him full time. We needed someone to help my dad a few hours in the evening, a few days a week. This agency came highly recommended by my parents' primary care physician. They matched us with a male caregiver, per request, it worked out ok. My dad didn't really care for him that much, the caregiver was not as empathetic as we thought he would be. But one evening, my dad went into cardiac arrest... the caregiver had no CPR skills, which we were not aware of. 911 was eventually called, but by the time the paramedics arrived it was too late, my dad had been without circulation/oxygen to the brain for over 20 min. Yes, my dad had some underlying health issues, but we can't help but wonder, if he would have been still alive with proper CPR given immediately....... We now are aware that most caregivers are not CPR certified. They only know basic skills- the activities of daily living. This is not ok, especially when you are taking care of the frail elderly. As an agency PLEASE move forward into making sure all of your employees are CPR certified!!!!!! You just never know what situation can occur, especially after what happened to our dad : ( * *** found out also the caregiver had charged us a full evening of care for when the event happened and signed my mom's signature. The event happened early in the shift and my dad was eventually taken to the hospital. My mom did not sign his time sheet and time worked was only 1 1/2 hour!!!!! As a worker how can you lie about that?!!!!! I eventually talked to Brenda, the nurse care manager of the agency, and got it straightened out. This was not ok! read more

Mae Morgan Agency provided excellent care for my father, mother and aunt over the past 15 years. They are very reliable and respond to your calls immediately. I am very grateful for their care and support. I highly recommend Mae Morgan Agency to care for your family. read more

24 hour care giving at $240 a day. These are the services you will receive. You will get an agency that always has trouble getting someone to come help. You'll always get the alternates. You'll get staff that you get to pay to be on their cell phones all day long while your loved one is struggling. You'll get staff that refuse to help you even with the most elementary of tasks. You'll get staff that all talk with eachother after they quit so the next one coming in instantly has a bad attitude toward you. You get staff that will do only the minimum required, and will provide much resistance to anything that will help your loved ones improve their quality of life. They have the best of training! They are trained to slow down your loved ones progress to maximize profits. And you can get all of this for the great price of $7200 per month! read more

Caregivers Tia, Josephine and Minerva were compassionate and very professional. Scheduling and arrangements were most efficient. Office highly responsive to any questions our family had. Thank you Mae Morgan! read more

After a disappointing experience with another agency (no show on first day), I was referred to Mae Morgan by Torrance Memorial Home Health. The care coordinator was professional, responsive, and worked with me to set up the services we needed. The caregivers were respectful, kind, attentive, and punctual. As our care needs increased, the care coordinator made the necessary adjustments with efficiency and grace making me feel like I had a partner in a process that can be challenging. I highly recommend the Mae Morgan Agency. read more

I'm posting this because a person by the name of David J posted a very negative review on my Yelp page. And he is on your page as well. I am a painting contractor and i never painted his house. I left him a message stating this and he never responded. He's leaving my business a bad name. Please look into David j and get back with me. Report him to Yelp. I don't think he is legitimate. read more

My mother entered at-home hospice but needed 24 hour care. My aunt and their best friend took care during the day but I needed someone to come in the evenings to relieve them to sleep, because my mother needed pain medication administration on an hourly basis. Gie at Mae Morgan responded promptly, and had her supervisor Brenda reached me over a weekend and they were able to find a home caretaker for that very evening with very short notice. The caretaker was wonderful, and was with my mother for a few days before she passed. I would highly recommend Mae Morgan to those looking for caregiving services. read more

My mother went in hospice and my brother and I were tasked with finding care. Some staff at the hospital were kind enough to give us a discreet tip by pointing to this agency on a list of many... Janice knew of a match for my mom and it was "May D" who is literally an angel on earth! My mom felt this way as did everyone .. family, friends, hospice people.. just went above and beyond in every respect. We had other caregivers for the weekends but May was live in during the week. I was also living in my mom's home while she was on hospice so I can tell you it was like having a long lost sister. We were lucky and didn't have to even contact other agencies.. Janice and her staff took care of my mom (and all our caregiving needs to the end of my mom's life). I highly recommend Janice and her outstanding staff. read more

We feel comfortable using Mae Morgan. Mom lives in L.A. and we are out of state. Brenda keeps things done and keeps us in the loop on caregiving. We have used MM for two years. We couldn't be more satisfied. read more

Don't go to this place, all they care about is their profit, I've worked with them for less than a year and they never pay you on time, they have too many excuses, maybe the longest I haven't been paid was almost a month, they kept telling me that they have to get paid first from the client and then you get paid. So guys, save yourself from stress and not go to this place. If I can give zero stars I would. They were paying me $100 for a 24 hour shift. Greedy!!! read more

Nancy Oates is a great caregiver for my parents, Brad and Pat. My parents have really enjoyed her company and she has taken very good care of them. We will definitely recommend her! read more

This company was referred to us by Little Co of Mary Torrance/Trinity Care Hospice. We were provided 2 caregivers, both of whom were very professional, and attentive to my Mom. They were also on time, and extremely conscientious. The manager did a great job accommodating a couple of requested time changes to this schedule, and was laid great about communicating with the staff. Rates are competitive, billing/invoicing easy. read more

We contacted Mae Morgan for a very last minute caregiver for my father in 2020. Jehima came to live-in and we were so grateful for her. She had a great attitude and was very soothing with him. She was only with us for a few days before he passed, but we are forever grateful that she was there with him and provided a high level of care and support. read more

We contracted with Mae Morgan for 24-hour care of our father who was in Stage 5 Parkinsons and was home for hospice care. After vetting a couple of other vendors, we went with Mae Morgan as they were quick to answer our phone call even at 10 pm on Memorial weekend! Nice job! We were assigned two 24 hour care workers, Michelle and Cynthia. Both were so caring, were well trained and were very respectful and friendly. They both were working under stressful conditions with a house full of relatives and my Father in dire straits. They handled my Dad with great care and respect and he passed away with no pain and with professional care provided by both Michelle & Cynthia. I can only say it was very satisfying having them there to help my Dad. They both did everything leaving our family the ability to spend quality time with Dad. I can only say if I have a need for 24 hour care, or if someone would ask for a recommendation, I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them. Additionally, they work with Torrance Memorial Hospice providers, making any transitions so smooth. Working with Brenda, administrator for MM, was simply wonderful. She is so professional and she was on top of every little detail. She followed up on all of our discussion and even came by to visit! Again, these little details are what make a difference. Thanks Mae Morgan, our family is very grateful for your services. Sincerely, The Del Rosario Family read more

This is a followup review after utilizing Mae Morgan Agency in support of my mom for almost a year now. The one thing that I can say is that (at least) mom's caregivers genuinely do care for her and her well being. They take their job seriously and responsibly. They assure that (well they have shown that) mom's support team will have her covered at all times. Recently mom (w/dementia) went to the hospital for surgery. I had asked that they continue support for her in the hospital and all went without a hitch. Mom is now back at home and recovering nicely. My only request from them would be to have an automated billing system. read more

Used Mae Morgan Agency for 24 hour care my father who was also in hospice care. Sadly, he passed away after being home from the hospital only 3 days. That being said, the 3 different individuals we had from Mae Morgan were all professional and very caring for both my father and mother. I would recommend Mae Morgan, especially with hospice care, as the hospice workers only visit the house periodically and neither my mother or I were not prepared to meet all of my father's needs 24 hours. The only negative was that the caregivers flushed the baby wipes they had requested we purchase (along with a few paper towels). Unfortunately, this caused a plumping problem after the fact -- however, Mae Morgan covered all of the costs of the repair. I would recommend using Mae Morgan. read more

I used the Mae Morgan Agency to help me with my 94 year old mother who was being cared for in my home on hospice. They did a wonderful job of finding caretakers for us on very short notice so we could get some rest. They were amazing in accommodating my need on such short notice. They sent me Zoni at night from 8pm to 8am and I cannot begin to say enough good things about Zoni. We were blessed to have her come into our home and take care of our beloved mother. She is absolutely wonderful and very experienced. This agency saved my family so we could get some rest and help us take care of our dying family member. Thank you Zoni and Mae Morgan Agency for all your help. read more

My grandmother was placed into hospice at home and after a horrible experience with another company I was ready to give up until I was referred to Mae Morgan agency. We had Nancy who was reliable, courteous, kind and attentive to my grandma. I felt so comfortable leaving my grandma in her care and she did everything she could to make my grandma comfortable. Brenda who arranged everything was on point and kept me informed with what was going on, I also felt the pricing was affordable compared to there agencies and they were able to send someone out the next day. I HIGHLY recommend this agency for your loved one when you need help, it is worth every penny and the service you get far exceeded my expectations! Thank you Brenda and Nancy for helping my grandma and my family through a rough time! read more

If you're a caregiver looking for a good agency pass this one. These people will force you or rather strongly encourage you to do the job but will never pay you on time. I only worked 1 month with them and they've only paid me the 3 days worth of work. Worse, you have to do their job, they'll ask you to get the check from the client then tell you have to wait for 5 days. Its been freaking month they still owe me money. This is the worse caregiving agency I've been to. read more

When we were told that our 97 year old Mom's health was failing and she wanted to go home to live out the remainder of her life, we selected the Morgan Mae Agency for 24 hour home caregiving. Each of the four caregivers that cared for our Mom were angels in the manner they cared for her. It was not only a job to them, they treated her with tender loving care as if they were caring for their own loved one. Cannot say enough about the outstanding care provided by Cindy, Jem, Zonie and Melanie. I would recommend the Morgan Mae Agency to anyone looking for outstanding and reliable care giving at a very reasonable cost. Thank you, Morgan Mae for allowing we, Mom's family, the ability to feel absolutely confident in the care Mom received in her final month of life so we could spend quality time with her. Mae Morgan was a godsend at the end of my mother's life. The caregivers were thoughtful, sensitive and reliable. Thank you Mae Morgan!

We needed Home Health care for my wife and the end of her cancer. We selected Mae Morgan on the recommendation of a friend who had experience with their service. The Home Health Care giver they sent to us (Jose) was both physically able to handle my wife's needs, but also caring and gentle in keeping her comfortable. He was live-in and totally attentive to her. We could not have asked for better help from a finer person. read more

I've been using the Mae Morgan Agency for my elderly mother most of 2015 am very glad I found them! I interviewed an vetted several agencies, and even though they all seemed fairly similar on the surface, it wasn't until I chose and used Mae Morgan's services did I realize I had definitely made the right decision. They've always been available to me on the phone 24/7 and always positive and cheerful asking how they could help. When changes came from our side, they've always been very flexible even when I was unable to give much advance notice. We've found the quality of the care to be excellent as well. Their caregivers have all been extremely caring and fully concerned about my mother's well-being. Not only did they want to make day-to-day things easier for her, but they also wanted to enhance her quality of life. They've encouraged her to get out and do things beyond the norm as often as possible and I've noticed my mother's spirits have shown the difference. I would recommend Mae Morgan to anyone looking for a reliable, reasonable, and caring organization. read more

Mae Morgan sent us a wonderful caregiver (Almira Panis). We stopped using Mae Morgan only because my mother moved to Assisted Living in a different part of California. Mae Morgan was very cooperative with the Long Term Care insurance (CNA GLTC) which was incredibly difficult to deal with. At first I thought MM was not giving them the correct papers, so I was complaining a lot to Brenda, but later I discovered that CNA was ignoring faxes that MM had properly sent, and received acknowledgement of receipt. I guess your experience will depend on the individual caregiver that you get. And I've heard they often have issues with elderly who have prejudices against people of color; fortunately I did not have to deal with those issues at all. read more

Mae Morgan was recommended by Torrance Hospice. The company and caregivers were awesome. My dad came home from the hospital on hospice to die. The caregivers Ron, PJ, Francis, Fernando, Rene, and Rusty were exceptional. My dad was treated with respect and with the utmost concern for his well being. They made sure that his dignity was maintained and even put themselves out physically to try maintain his independence to the end. They were a godsend in this trying time. read more

Mae Morgan was recommended by both Vitas and Torrance hospices. Brenda was the coordinator assigned and Nicole was the nurse. They are both stars. Brenda advised us and arranged on very short notice to have Nicole cover the night shift relieving our family during a critical time. They are both very caring and went above and beyond our expectations. Nicole provided an attention to detail and care we had not experienced over many providers. She did much more than she would be required to do or that others did. She payed so close attention to the patients vital signs she picked up on the very subtle changes that precede death in time so our family could be present for which we will be forever grateful. They are loving and kind people and this work is clearly a calling. We highly recommend them both. read more

We used helpers from Mae Morgan to care for my father-in-law in his home during the last few days of his life. He died of pancreatic cancer. We had hospice care as well, but they only provide various professionals that visit a few times per week not 24 hour care. We had two helpers that worked 12 hour shifts each, so we only had a total of 2 for the 4 days we needed them. It was nice to have the same faces each time instead of someone new every day. Both helpers were professional and knowledgeable and willing to do whatever it took to keep him well cared for. It was a huge relief to have someone to do a lot of the actual lifting before he became confined to bed and to have someone to do various tasks like moving him, grooming, assisting with meds, etc. We started a notebook to record all the treatment, condition, observations, etc and both helpers quickly got up to speed and filled out the notebook regularly. They were on time and were easy to have in the house with us for long hours. read more

I am so grateful for May Morgan in the care of my father during his final days. My dad was treated compassionately and with dignity and caregivers Ron PJ Fernando Francis Rene and Rusty were exceptional. My dad was a very private self reliant man who did not accept help easily but these caregivers were able to connect with him and assist him in a way that did not make him feel bad . I really appreciate everything they did for him. The caregivers tried to honor his wishes ( getting him out of bed) even in his final days when he basically unable to move without total support. They also made it easier for our family to help my dad in his final days giving us time to rest knowing he was in good hands. On his final night (we didn't know this), as I went to bed, I saw Ron sitting in chair by dads bedside leaning forward and watching over him. I will never forget this. Thanks Ron. Thanks everyone. read more
