Such a cute little cafe in the Bow area! My friend and I came here on a sunny Friday morning for brunch and had a wonderful experience! We got the waffle with Halloumi and avocado to share and it was one of the best brunch items I've had. I hate eggs and wasn't feeling anything sweet, so this limited my options, but I was so happy we got this waffle! It was topped with avocado and chives, and came with a side of baked beans and tomatoes, and 2 pieces of zaatar-crusted Halloumi cheese. It comes with a fried egg, which we asked for on the side. The Halloumi is delicious, and if you haven't had Halloumi before, I'd really recommend trying it out! The beans-tomato side was just ok. The waffle itself was actually really good, which is hard to come by.
The actual cafe is very hipster and aesthetically pleasing. It was bright and sunny, with a good amount of seating considering its small size. The girl working there was also very cute and friendly!
The downsides: price was a little high (£11.50 for the entree) considering it's a casual coffee shop/cafe. However, it was a large portion size and my friend and I split it so the price worked out to be fine. Other dishes are cheaper, around £7-8. Also, when we were looking for the menu online at home, we couldn't find it. The website is pretty much non existent. read more
