Back story - we had been looking for a home for over 7 years and this was the home that checked all of the boxes off of our list so we were really excited. We were told around November that we were next in line and put our deposit down on a lot. We just moved into our home two weeks ago (November 2022). During this time interest rates spiked at an all time high and Alicia continued to work with us by researching different programs and options so that we could stay within our budget. We ran into a snag with our CPA not completing our taxes which hindered us moving forward with the process. IAlicia was patient and helped work with our CPA directly to get things moving along. Working with her over the past year I got to know her more and just love her bubbly personality and constant support as this has been a roller coaster of a year. My husband was impressed by her speed of computing math. He is practically the rainman with numbers and Alicia outshined him a few times which has never happened. So she was our person and I highly recommend her!! We also attended one of her customer appreciation events at her property and got to see her beautiful horses. She really is committed to her clients. #TeamStearman

After I presented my goals to buy real estate, you stated: "Let me give you some fatherly advice" and you proceeded to pat my knee and strongly discourage me from purchasing any property. Loan interest rates were low, I had a solid income history, and real estate was a very good investment option in the bay area, where I live and work. It is not clear to me what your intentions were by what you said to me, and the patting of the knee. However, I disregarded it and moved forward. I have since founded and currently run a successful business. I own two homes that have now almost doubled in market value, and I am looking into buying commercial real estate. If I had heeded your "fatherly advice" I would not have had the courage or strength to do what I have done and continue to do to support myself and my family. I hope that you do not belittle and underestimate other women as well. Shame on you, Mark.
