My wife and I did tons of research on choosing a lender for purchasing our first home in Orange County. Our plan was to get a preapproval from an out of state lender that had better rates and then shop around for an in-state lender once we got closer to closing. We got our preapproval with the out of state lender but after that, once things started moving quickly, that lender was not as responsive as we needed. In our area, things move quickly and we needed someone to get things together quickly and effectively or we might lose the property we were interested in. We reached out to our realtor, who we trusted, and she was happy to recommend Kevin at Green Haven Capital. We called Kevin at 10:30pm on a Sunday and he answered right away and told us he could easily help us, even with my "complicated" self-employed financials. He even sent us the application to fill out that evening. We got the ball rolling with Kevin and he was extremely competent and confident as a lender. He also offered some of the best rates we had seen and was able to lock in something right before rates went up. He had everything figured out for us quickly and effectively and was able to ease our worries every step of the way.
