The office was clean, I had a co-pay of $25 and the doctor was nice but he gave me poor medical care. He said " I won't diagnose it as __ but we will treat it as ___ ". Confusing but I received a prescription so I was pleased. My symptoms became painful throughout the day so I called my physicians office and they couldn't see me until 2 days. By my appointment all my symptoms had severely intensified. My physician took one look at me and knew what was going on. I received a steroid shot, pain medication and a referral to see a specialist that same day. Symptoms got better and I saw the specialist with a co-pay of $65. Received the proper care and moved on with life. A month later I receive a text from carbon saying "your bill is ready from your visit". To make things more ridiculous it was due in 5 days and of courses they were automatically charging it. No explanation just a bill so I emailed them for an itemized bill as my insurance didn't send me anything saying they didn't cover the full visit. They have yet to respond. Read the other 1 star reviews (I wish I had) and take your medical concerns elsewhere.

Now, the office staff are unfriendly, no compassion and really, give that office a bad rep. Office seldom follows up, referrals get lost and hard to get an appointment. I'm looking for another PCP. Stephen the PA was great. Professional and quick to assess and get what I needed. Everyone was great. Wish I had came here the first time around! Great experience! Side note the pediatricians here are great!! This is the only trusted urgent care I bring my son to because pediatricians always see him which I know he's getting the best care possible. The doctor seemed rushed and did not take the time to listen to my concerns or fully understand what I was experiencing. His bedside manner was not friendly, and I felt dismissed during the visit. After a brief examination, he prescribed two medications. However, when I arrived at the pharmacy, I discovered that only one prescription had been sent, and the other had been forgotten. This caused additional frustration and delayed my treatment. When patients come to urgent care, especially when they are in significant pain, they deserve to feel heard, respected, and cared for. Sadly, that was not my experience here.

They are super responsive and i feel like i am on a first name basis after only a few visits! Everyone here is so friendly and not judgmental. My only concern (That has nothing to do with the office) is the there's been some sketchy people hanging around the parking lot/ally. I have been cat called by a group of men when coming to this office twice and had a woman yelling at me another time. Just something to be aware of if you're coming here alone!

Reception is rude, wait times on hold to actually talk to someone is usually 15-30 minutes. My provider insisted my shoulder pain was coming from a "tight trapezius" despite me telling her I have all the symptoms of nerve pain. A few months later all the other providers agree I have nerve compression and not from my trapezius. If she had actually listened to my concerns I would have had the correct diagnosis sooner. To add to all of it I have never seen my actual PCP, a different provider every time and they do not communicate. Don't get me started on the referrals department- I waited 3 weeks for a referral to go through only to call to make an appointment and find out the doctor they referred me to doesn't even treat the area. Incompetent, careless and negligent. Do not go here unless you have no other option.

I was accepted here as a new medi-cal patient and assigned an appointment for first time patient evaluation, for almost a month out.. And now I'll probably have to wait who knows how long to get another appointment elsewhere, I feel like my rights to access medical care in a timely manner have been violated, and I will be filing formal complaints.

You will never find another urgent care with a team that cares for you like After Hours Urgent…read moreCare. I've been coming here for almost ten years and have often chosen to seek care here over my primary care physician. I know I'm not really supposed to do that, but the quality of care is truly unmatched by any other office I've visited. I recently dealt with a severe infection, and Lyn and Wendy were so kind yet firm in insisting that I go to the hospital. I really fought them on it because the hospital was the last place I wanted to be, but I ultimately took their advice. I ended up spending a week in the hospital and was sent home with a PICC line, so they were completely right. Deep down, I knew they were right in the moment, but I was holding out hope of being treated at home on oral antibiotics, so I tried everything to negotiate a different outcome. My son passed away seven years ago, and learning that the staff at After Hours still remembers the two of us coming in together meant more to me than words can say. They treat each and every patient like family, and that is the exact kind of compassionate care you can always count on here.
