We arrived around 12, earlier than the check in time, so were told to come back in an hour for the room. We asked for a restaurant recommendation and went off in search. However lunch barely starts at 1 pm at the earliest in Seville, so we made do with some light tapas at a different place.
When we got back to the hotel at 1:30, the room still was not ready, the different desk clerk deeply apologized, and we waited another 10 minutes in the lobby.
Finally got our small room on the 2nd floor, but with a small balcony and a very nice street view. Small bathroom as well with minimal amenities. They did not give us new towels the 2nd day. The hotel is in a residential area a block from a busy street, so there was no traffic at all outside. Quiet!
Breakfast was included in our booking, and offered a small continental type meal with fresh orange juice. Pleasant staff working.
A very charming 10-15 minute from the Cathedral and Real Alcazar and 8 minutes from the main bus station and the river walk. Lots of local coffee shops, bars, shops and restaurants. Also close to excellent shopping streets heading to the El Corte Ingles.
Nothing wrong with this hotel and the rate was very reasonable, so don't expect more than you pay for. read more
