I've been here twice now to get my eyebrows done and I feel like the students always do an amazing job and the instructor always stops by to make sure everything is going well.

Unfortunately, my time here was not what I expected or hoped for. I entered the program with high hopes and deep passion for cosmetology, but quickly noticed a number of red flags. There were ongoing issues with unsanitary conditions, including dirty bathrooms, hair bowls that weren't properly cleaned, and a general lack of proper sanitation procedures -- which is especially concerning in a field where hygiene is non-negotiable. In addition to that, I felt a serious lack of professionalism and support from several educators. Some instructors were either inexperienced, unavailable for proper guidance, or simply unprepared to support us in learning state board-required theory and practical skills. There were also frequent issues with missing or limited supplies, and at times we weren't even provided the tools or products necessary to complete assignments. When I raised concerns -- both informally and formally -- nothing changed. My messages and efforts to seek clarity or support went unanswered. I ultimately chose to withdraw because I felt the environment was not helping me succeed or preparing me to become a licensed cosmetologist. This was not an easy decision. I invested time, money, and energy into this dream. I hope that by sharing my experience, others will ask more questions and tour multiple schools before enrolling. Not every school is the same -- and you deserve a place that genuinely cares about your success, hygiene, education, and safety. Wishing anyone reading this the best in their journey. Don't settle -- find a school that's as serious about your future as you are.
