So I did that, I called at 12:10, the person that answered was not helpful. They asked what they could do for me after not saying anything after picking up for phone for ten seconds, and I said that I wanted to make an appointment for my cousin and I. She was silent for many seconds and then said that they don't take appointments, walk-ins only. I was confused because on the website it said appointment only, and to call at noon to make an appointment. So I was like I guess they changed their policy. I drove over 30 minutes to get there, and when I walked in I was declined service because they do not take walk-ins. The lady that "helped" us could not have cared less, even when I told her what the worker had said to me. I suggested that she have a talk with the workers because, and I quote from her, "This happens all the time". How can your workers not know what to do in situations like this, especially when policy is on the website and likely have people in everyday for piercings. So she said try calling again tomorrow. So my aunt called them at 12:04 today, the following day, to get our name on the list to call back and make our appointment at 1. They called her back and said they were fully booked up for the day, and would only be able to have an appointment for one at 1 o'clock, which was the time that they called her back. The lady was rude, and not helpful, they clearly do not care about helping people or getting business so do not go here. There are plenty of other great places to go with much nicer and more helpful people. The management clearly seems to be lacking, so don't waste your time, money, or gas to try and go here.

I've passed This shop up several times when browsing the mall and we've probably window shopped a few times with my older daughters. Recently we finally became customers as we wanted to get my 2 year old and 5 month old daughters ears pierced. In the past with the older 3 we got their ears pierced at Claire's. We were not quite happy with the job of the past Claire visits and recently they always seem to have younger workers who aren't trained to pierce, so we made the switch to pagoda. The worker here was super nice and fantastic with the kids. My oldest daughter who is 14 got her second set of ear lobe piercings on This trip as well. So 3 sets of girls got pierced on This visit. My second oldest daughter who is almost 12 was a bit salty her big sister was getting a second set of piercings. Her original piercings she can't keep in because she always breaks out. So the worker based off her history Recommended an affordable set of earrings for her to try to see how she does before she eventually gets a second Set of piercings. The pair we got her was around $50 and so far 3 weeks in and she has zero break outs and appears to be fine. So she is happy right now. Like with all piercing the piercing is free but you have to buy the starter earrings from a special case and purchase some post piercing care items. My oldest went first with her second set of ear lobe piercing. She has other piercings and a cartilage pierced already so she was a pro. Worker measured her and was in and out with no problem. Up next was our two year old. Worker was patient with her and got everything lined up and even and she handles the piercing like a champ. No reaction hardly at all. The worker showed the same patience with the 5 month old who kept wanting to bite or eat the piercing gun so it took a bit to get her pierced. A few whimpers and a tear or two dropped but the worker was quick with a sucker that made baby girl #5 happy. Overall the best first piercing we've experienced with our kids. We may have gotten lucky and got a good worker and piercer but we are satisfied. Pricing is about or average to maybe a bit on the high end. I think all together with 4 sets of earrings including 3 piercings and clean kits it was just over 225 bucks.

The belly piercing itself looks amazing, I get quite a few compliments on how centered the placement is. Before I got the piercing, my nerves were sort of high, so when he originally marked where he'd pierce, it was too far to the left, but I was too nervous to correct it. Thankfully, the piercer corrected himself after I stood in the mirror and it turned great, as well as making some jokes to ease the nerves. However, I will say that the jewelry isn't the best quality. After about a month with the piercing, the gem inside the top part of the jewelry fell out? Overall, I had a good experience and would go back again. The workers are cool, and pretty respectful. Maybe I'd go in with my own jewelry or bite the bullet and buy more expensive jewelry from them.

Jewelry that was put in was the type that inserts from the back and has a ball that screws in from the front. After they had healed and I went to change the jewelry one of the earrings had been screwed on so tightly I couldn't remove it. Stopped in to have them unscrew it. 30 seconds total (using a hemostat to clamp the earring to remove) and she charged me another $10. Nobody mentioned this charge at all when I asked if someone could try to unscrew it or when I was called back to have it done. Great way to drum up extra business. Secure the jewelry so tight you have to return and they have to remove it with a hemostat. Then tack on an additional fee. I've had other friends with bad up-charge experiences too. One friend called to see how much it would to have her ears pierced and was told $50 over the phone. She ended up getting double piercings thinking it would be $100 and walked out with a bill over $300! Be sure to ask what the total charges are before you even sit down and get it in writing if you have to use their services. Or better yet, go somewhere else.

You aren't allowed to record anything in there and the room was not very welcoming. I went in for a conch piercing and left with a hoop in the wrong spot. I don't know a whole lot about piercing but you most certainly don't pierce with a needle and cork and stick a hoop in there. It was very painful and she gave me very poor advice for how to clean it and take care of it. After doing research on why it hurt so bad I figured out getting a hoop is highly discouraged as it makes the healing process super difficult. The front desk worker was very nice and helpful and I can not speak for the tattoo part of this shop but the piercing is awful. You definitely get what you pay for here. Go to Mythos instead.

They replied in a timely fashion, answered all of my questions and got my appointment all set up. Once I got to the shop everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. The shop was super small but clean and well organized. Be ready and have cash as it's a cash only shop. If you happen to forget there's a drug store across the street with an ATM. I'm extremely pleased with my tattoo and have booked a future appointment with Marcus. Doug didn't do any work on me but he definitely is a great artist as well. Can't wait to come back!!

The first tattoo was done by Marcus, I had given him the idea that I wanted a tattoo for my dad that involved a dandelion and a butterfly and gave him a picture reference. But he drew an even better version and tweaked it to give it more meaning. After being pleased with my first visit I came back a couple months later wanting a moon tattoo. This tattoo was also drawn and done by Marcus. Marcus is a great artist and he does good with his work and the rest of the staff is so friendly! Definitely going back in the future when I want my next tattoo.
