We had an intimate wedding for 30 people in Thousand Palms two weeks ago and went with Madison Workshop for the flowers. Brilliant decision. I sent David a few images I found on Pinterest of what I wanted the arrangements to be and he knocked it out of the park!!! I wanted the flower arrangements to reflect the soft colors and messy textures and the gorgeous Californian desert and that's exactly what I got! Those toffee roses, oh my, the most beautiful color I've ever seen. The flowers worked beautifully with my ivory satin dress, with our dark wooden arch and light beige table decor. This is true artistry in its purest form! My bridal bouquet is now drying out very beautifully and will bring me joy all throughout winter months. Thank you David and team! read more

We contracted with Madison Workshop West for our wedding -- and the flowers were gorgeous! When the first florist was over budget, our coordinator turned to David with about a month's notice. They pulled together a plan on budget for bouquets, tables and an arch. The flowers turned out every bit as beautiful as I hoped. My bouquet was exactly what I described -- bright, beautiful colors with a touch of dessert succulent. The arch was draped with greenery and flowers. Wow, what luck I had when I stumbled upon this amazing florist! I called David Madison only 2 weeks before my daughters wedding and he was able to accommodate all my needs! I briefly told him what I was looking for and it was like he could read my mind. I told him I wanted beautiful yet, modern and funky flowers and I was absolutely blown away when the flowers were delivered. David is the most professional, talented florist I have ever worked with. I wish he would open a shop in Phoenix where we live so I would never have to go elsewhere. His arrangements were spectacular and reasonably priced with the most amazing customer service ever! He did everything I asked for and more!! His shop is wonderful - I could have watched him work all day on arranging, it was like an artist creating a masterpiece! Very disappointing $100 bouquet sent to my mother-in-law for her birthday. From Madison Workshop West's website, I thought I would avoid what so often happens when placing an order from out of town: small arrangement, hodge-podge of flowers, no artistry at all. In fact, this is exactly what I got. I spoke to the owner who felt that because the vase had "a lot of flowers" in it, that it was up to snuff. Not so. I could have bought several bunches of fresh flowers from Safeway, pavé'd the stems, and stuffed them in a small vase to the same effect. Not impressed. I will say the owner offered to deliver something else tomorrow, but since this was a birthday gift, the offer would have no value. read more

I've been getting flowers from these guys since they designed them for my Mom's 70th birthday, 10 years ago. It's actually hard to say which is better, their impeccable service, gorgeous arrangements, fabulous taste or straight-up great phone convo! I call 3-4x's a year from the Bay Area and my Mom always calls the second she closes the door. Can't recommend Madison enough! read more

I threw a 70th bday party for my mom in the desert from San Francisco. I called at least 5 other florists before finding David Madison. He took my descriptions (I had not ever seen the venue), vision and budget and created a memorable environment with flowers for my Mom and her friends. They're still talking about the flowers! And since it's now taken me a year to finish this review. As a follow-up this year, I called and got a very similar arrangement as the center pieces to surprise my mom. David was again so beyond helpful and my mom loved them. Big thumbs up! read more

David Madison is not simply a florist, he is an artist. He has impeccable taste and an eye for what looks good. He provided the flowers for my wedding on 3/22/14 and I couldn't have been any happier with how they turned out. I spoke with him a few times and told him what I envisioned. He offered suggestions and I left the final product in his capable hands. When the flowers came on my wedding day, I was stunned by how absolutely gorgeous they were. They were one important part of what made up my perfect day. He was incredibly accommodating, and even permitted my mother-in-law to bring all our reception flowers from the LA Flower shop, decreasing our cost immensely! I've seen him do it all. Recently David and his team designed my entire wedding weekend: Welcome Reception, Bridesmaid's luncheon, ceremony and reception. Everything was gorgeous and exactly as I described to him what I wanted. He created a romantic ceremony space with a beautiful branch and flower structure including a chandelier. The reception room took your breath away. Fabulous table floral arrangments and beautiful wreaths with crystals dripping from the ballroom chandliers. AMAZING!!
