I then went on a 7 week trip, and went to two different locations, once in the Bay Area and once in LA, California. I can tell you, my hour commute to see Vânia is worth it. SHE IS JUST THE BEST!! Having compared her to three other operators, there IS no comparison. From the first step in I felt like..please, please be good cuz the actual salon was sooo calming. Beautiful interior, calming music, fresh & clean..and as I hoped, they exceeded my expectations!! A rare experience for me as I have been in the health & beauty profession my entire career. Their manucurist Fabiola is incredible. I have gel on my nails & very often that means a thick layer of hard gel..it's the varying thicknesses that annoy me. Fabiola was so easy & efficient & she left me with 10 perfectly beautiful..'thin'..gel nails. I am so excited to have finally found 'my' manicurist. The hunt is over! Next week I'll try a Pedicure!

One day I walked in and asked for a pedicure using "hand gestures" and voila - a pedicure. A really good Pedicure - at a really good price. They don't have the fancy pedicure chairs we have with the massage option - you simply extend your leg - but it seems as though that is common here. The next day I booked an appointment for eyelash extensions (silk) and again - great service - great prices- Directly afterwards, a Brasilian (bikini) wax. Wow! I was extremely lucky to have found this place. Heike…read morewas my hair stylist. I could tell she knows what she's doing (about 25 years experience). She's professional, cool, smart, and confident. Heike took her time to look at my hair, listen to me and give me great advice. I did a haircut, highlights and an Olaplex treatment. I am very pleased about the result. A nice feature: The salon collaborates with a cosmetician. So while waiting for your hair (highlights e.g.) you can a facial (which I did) or massage from Fatima. She's super kind, gentle in her touch and an expert. I was amazed how many different scrubs and creams and lotions that all smelled heavenly she used and techniques to clean my face. And, I greatly enjoyed the massage, too. Thank you, Fatima. All in all, if I lived in proximity and wasn't there on vacation, they would have gained a forever client. Highly recommended.

I was consulted for my likes and dis-likes, I was given a manicure WHILE they were coloring my hair :) The cut and wash and blow dry were perfect - I felt like a movie star when I left - but I also DID NOT feel like I got robbed! Very reasonable prices, very talented staff!
