Princes Quay is a small shopping centre in Hull city centre, the state of the shopping centre…read moreright now for me is heartbreaking as it has so much potential. It's built over Prince's Dock which adds a unique twist to the centre, meaning as you walk along, you can see the river which looks so beautiful in the sunshine, yet the mall is full of either cheap, tacky stores or empty units. There are very few familiar brands in terms of shopping, other than a large Primark store. It does get better for food and drink, with some options including Nando's and Pizza Express and for leisure, there's a Vue cinema. The security staff in the mall didn't seem too friendly and made me feel uncomfortable just for wanting to visit Pizza Express. This place has so much potential, they need to shut the place down for however long it takes to renovate the mall and fill the empty units, as for now this is only going to be a place one would visit if heading to the cinema or a specific brand within the mall, it just seems depressing to walk through. 2*

It is aimed at the young and fashion concious, and is aiming to be affordable to teenagers and young adults. The clothes are very high fashion, and tend to be more stocked towards party or noghtlife clothes, than casual clothing, although it does stock this as well, but a much smaller range. The size range in this chain is not brilliant, although starting at a size 6 it only goes up to a 16 in store. This shop is the largest in Hull, and is well stocked. They sell a range of clothing, both casual and party, nightwear, shoes accessories, petite and tall. These ranges generally only have a small selection, but nethertheless they are available. The shop is not very well staffed, however, and only ever has around 2 staff in whenever I have shopped there.
