Dr. K and her team are simply the best -- I've been going to her for about two years now. She prescribes my tretinoin and I get IPL treatments about 3-4 times per year with Denise. The products from her line are also amazing! I alternate her nightly brightener with my tretinoin and eye cream at night, then the vitamin c serum under my sunscreen during the day. My skin has never looked better! It is an investment but comparatively their pricing is actually really reasonable, especially for what is offered. Worth every penny. read more

I've been going to Dr. Kandula for about 5 months and I am very satisfied. She does run on time which is great if you are trying to get an appointment in on a lunch hour. I used to see Dr. Kandula years ago when I was a teenager and early adult. She's the greatest dermatologist I've ever seen and will do whatever she can to help you determine the best solutions to your individual issues. She will never just give you a text book answer. Unfortunately, insurance coverage changes with jobs, so I am not able to see her currently. I have my fingers crossed that one day I will grace her purple and teal offices yet again. There is no Dermatologist in the City of St Louis that can compare. I came in with a list of questions and she took the time to answer them all with a thoroughness.She offered an honest critique of my skin and prescribed based on her expertise and not on perks she is receiving from cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies.She has a list of products that she believes in and uses herself and sells quite a few out of her office.She will also mail you a refill so that you don't have to make the trip to her office...that's pretty awesome.Like a reviewer noted before me,she is passionate about skincare and this shows. read more

She is pretty good--although she doesn't spend much time with you--but her staff is not. The girl at the desk is consistently curt and unfriendly and the nurses/techs are somewhat unprofessional (a couple times they've called my name then taken off through the door and I didn't know which exam room to go to, which comes off to me as rude). read more

I went to Dr.Kandula because she was recommended by an acquaintance. I wanted botox injections but was slightly apprehensive since my last dr. used far too much botox in the amount and strength. I told Dr.Kandula this and she told me - 'You WILL NOT tell me how much botox I will use on you'. Not only was I surprised by her aggressive behavior, she did nothing to alleviate any of my concerns. Against my better judgement I allowed her to inject me with botox. I had sufficient bruising from her procedure when I left her office. For the amount of money and dr.'s that I have gone to prior to seeing her, this was unacceptable. I would not recommend Dr.Kandula for the slightest procedure. read more

Dr Kandula is a fantastic dermatologist. She is most knowledgeable in all effective and current treatments and so skilful doing procedures and treatments. It is very obvious how much she loves what she does and how much she cares for her patients. She listens carefully (not something all doctors do) to her patient's questions, wishes and concerns, then discusses the best options, personalized for that patient. She explains those expected outcomes, all that the treatment/procedure(s) entail, including any side effects and/or risks. If she believes that for any reason you would not be a good candidate for a certain procedure, or that your outcome would be less than optimal, Dr Kandula most truthfully and candidly will tell you so, stating that she would not allow you to spend money on that which simply is not right for you. She offers options better suited, even if that could be something provided by another specialist. She is very personable, a lovely lady. During treatments she is very attentive to her patient's needs, allaying apprehensions, providing a calm and relaxed environment. Dr Kandula is truly an expert in her field, passionately providing the best care for her patients. read more
