Additionally my husband and I both had our annual skin check, same service, two different people and we received two totally different bills for the same service, without an explanation. Dr. Duvall is the 3rd dermatologist I've seen in the last 15 years +/- and BY FAR the BEST. He isn't going to waste your time taking biopsy's of every little freckle or lecturing you for lack of sunscreen. He is quick and thorough and has a very quirky and relaxing bedside manor which quickly puts you to ease if you need to have some carcinoma's removed (my weak point, 7 now!). His office is really easy to find, just go into tower B of the med towers at Mercy and go to the 5th floor, he's right there as you exit the elevator. His staff is friendly too and pricing is great, I have Blue Cross and never pay a dime however I did pay cash pricing before and it was less than $200 for a visit, lab work and going under the knife.

Every time I'm in the office I feel like I'm an imposition. On my last skin cancer screening visit, I had something removed from my back. If I was more skilled in the area of dermatology, I guess I would have known it would be biopsied. I'm not and I did not. When I READ the results from the website ( never a phone call) I answered back that they had the wrong patient. I did not have a biopsy. After several phone call attempts, I spoke to an office manager. I told her I was not aware that this piece of my body was going to be biopsied. She spoke to the doctor. The doctor lied. "Of course this biopsy was discussed." Nope. Didn't happen. I believe my recall is better than a doctor who sees way too many patients each day. If the word biopsy had been mentioned, I would have freaked out!! I cancelled any future appointments. Since cancelling my appointment, I have received a phone call, an email and a text asking my reasons for cancelling. Can the office do anything to help? On a recent visit Dr. Feigenbaum prescribed a medication. After a few days, I could tell it was not doing its job. I sent him a message on his website and an hour or two later he replied that he'd send a new medication. After two days, I could tell it was getting to the problem. I sent another message that I was on the mend. He quickly responded he was glad and to give it time and it would keep getting better. At my age, I been to lots of dermatologists. The laser treatment was completely ineffective, and the subsequent Enlighten Depigmentation System triggered a severe full-body rash approximately 2.5 years ago. The rash was so intense that it required rocky and enormous medical helps to calm it down. After that difficult period, I managed my skin issue on my own. Through more than 2.5 years of focused self home care, I successfully cleared approximately 99% of my melasma using a simple daily regimen centered on Vanicream products. The results came entirely from my self home treatment -- NOT from this facility. A. For Professionals: If a client discloses that they have sensitive skin, I strongly recommend implementing a 72-hour patch test followed by a 5-day monitoring period as a standard precautionary step. Dietary Focus: - Avoid highly processed foods - Minimize high-sugar foods - Reduce high-salt intake - Eat plenty of green vegetables and a wide variety of colorful produce c. Maintain well-balanced daily nutrition d. Incorporate Vitamin C serum into your skincare routine e. Stress Management: Incorporate daily meditation and deep breathing exercises to support overall detoxification.
