The officer I had an encounter with was an absolute jerk. I had been broadsided and with a…read moreconcussion from hitting my head on the frame of the door and only borderline conscious. He came over and asked for license and registration (and insurance). He didn't ask if I was ok. He didn't ask if I needed paramedics. He didn't ask if I wanted to go to the hospital. The ONLY thing he gave a damn about was my license and registration. Then I found out later that even though the accident occurred on a public street, Fresno PD doesn't file police reports. Huh? Is this normal that there's no report filed? I found out later that Fresno PD is incredibly corrupt. The officers are useless idiots and don't want to do any work. Maybe quick to abuse their power, but useless otherwise. About a week after my accident, the deputy chief and several officers were arrested in a drug sting being run by the FBI and ATF. So, yeah. Pretty corrupt and good for nothing.

I've had the pleasure of speaking with Officer Gomez and Officer May the last couple times, both are very professional and took the time to speak with me and assure me that everything will be taken care of. They both explained what steps need to be taken in each case and made me feel at ease. I hope everyone else will get to have a positive experience as well.

There is no civil case nobody's is trying to get money from anybody else. There's nothing on file or on record or on any such report paper stating it's a civil case, but the police department is taking a stand and they will not allow a stolen vehicle case be issued what can I do? So as of this date April 14, 2006 it stands as a grand theft auto case it's on a 2025 Cadillac I don't understand why no one can turn on OnStar. I believe it's activated because I got one report from the car on my text. If it's not activated, I would not have that report can anybody help?

Merced police refused to go out and do a security check on a friend of mine after I called and told…read morethem she was having trouble getting a drug user, temporary tenant, moved out of her house and we were cutoff on our phone call. She didn't respond to my phone calls or texts back to her for several hours. She is 56 years old, lives alone, has a heart condition and all alone. I feared for her safety and they did not care enough to take a couple of minutes to check on her. Other law enforcement departments in the area will do it but Merced police did not want to be bothered with public safety.
