My girls have been enrolled in Artistico for a few months now mostly doing ballet and tap...the sort of dance they primarily enjoy doing. Now they're showing interest in Hip Hop, Contemporary AND Salsa! The fact that they are willing to even try these new things tells me that it must be coming from their teachers. I think it's brilliant that kids especially can be motivated to get out of their comfort zone and try new dance moves. Heck, learning a variety of dance styles has to be better than staying glued to a devices during their down time yeah!? At any rate...I completely and wholeheartedly recommend that put on your dancing shoes (some classes ya dont even need any) and stop by Artistico School of Dance. You and or your child will learn some new things and possibly gain a friend or two to boot!

She has a strong passion for the Arts. Ms. Annette, the Office Manager is very helpful. She is warm, sweet, and accomodating. City Ballet of Los Angeles offers Ballet classes (of all levels), Creative Dance, Yoga, and even Violin lessons. My daughter is so lucky and blessed to be a part of this ballet program.

I went to a very local show a week prior to attending the Dorothy Chandler event at a small town near LA and they were diverse and amazing. This group, not so much.

It tells potential students to reach out to the instructor before taking a class. The purpose of a website / marketing is to make it easier for the consumer to do business with you. No other studios do this. I just showed up for the first class and luckily saw another student who showed me where the entrance is. I've seen others do the same. Coco is warm and welcoming. Mark is off-putting and rude to most newcomers. It also lacks all basic information and policies you expect to see on a dance studio website - there is no bathroom, dressing rooms etc. There are no class policies, payment information, prices, anti-harassment policies, processes for how to report incidents. Customers are treated differently - I've seen some told to use the owner's bathroom in her home while others told to go across the street to the park. Communications are poor and myself and other students have driven a long way to attend class only to find out class was cancelled. Be prepared for mixed messages. I had been going there 4-5 times a week for a year and received nothing but positive feedback. I always felt welcome there. Out of the blue I received the nastiest, rudest, most threatening email from the owner I've ever received. For months she wouldn't give me a reason and refused to have a conversation about it like any reasonable person / business owner would have done in her position. It was insulting, rude and unnecessary. Not to mention completely passive aggressive. If there were a problem, wouldn't you pull them aside after class to chat or set-up time for a discussion? No, straight to threats. Please note: Coco is one of the best teachers I've ever studied with and this review/rating no way reflects on her. She is professional, communicates well, is patient and creates a true no judgement environment to learn in. She is also one of the best sources of information on tap. She truly wants to see her students grow. And she offers a true intro to tap class for adults which is difficult to find in any style of dance. I have not had the opportunity to study with Joseph or Lynn but have heard only good things.

I have been taking acting classes with Amir for almost a couple months now and he is a very good teacher who really works with me not just on the fundamentals of acting and technique but he really challenges me and works with me to become the character. "Don't Act.. Be," in his words. I already am noticing significant change in how I approach scripts, how I analyze character development and my overall performance. I am very pleased so far with Star Talent Academy and I just am a huge fan of Shyra. She is very professional and pleasant and extremely active in her community. Shyra donated 100% of her time to help us with the performance. She really turned our 15 members band around and brought a lot showmanship into it. It was a successful event two years in a row and all our attendees had lots of fun. We quadrupled our fund raising amounts. I myself had six weeks intense training with Shyra. She really helped me with the stage presence and broadened my comfort zone into a totally different level. I also took some voice lessons with Irina. She had special teaching techniques to work with my natural voice. She is very serious when it comes teaching. I highly recommend Star Talent Academy. This superb review is for the Spanish Story Time. Love love love the both times that we went. Once was with a lady, forgot her name and another was with a gentleman. I just want to say that they love their job and huge smiles on their faces are contagious to the little ones. My baby enjoyed every moment, from the singing, to practicing Spanish, to playing and interacting with other kids. Several of the elements we paid for were never delivered, and the entire performance came across as unprepared. On top of that, the characters lacked energy and enthusiasm. They were not as kid-friendly or engaging as we expected, which really impacted the overall experience for the children. For a company that specializes in kids' entertainment, this was especially disappointing. As the host, it was frustrating to see such a mismatch between what was promised and what actually happened. I would not recommend booking them for any event. It's simply not worth the stress or disappointment. With that level of experience, we would expect rain and traffic to be factors you routinely plan for, not reasons for arriving late and forgetting to bring paid costumes. When we tried speaking with you privately, the concerns we raised were met with repeated blame on weather and our "expectations," rather than accountability for the clear lapses that occurred. We also appreciate you admitting that the Rockstar Costumes package was forgotten. However, this was only disclosed after we asked about it. You did not communicate this upfront or during the event. That lack of transparency was disappointing, especially given that it was part of what we paid for. Lastly, thank you for confirming that the song was changed because guests requested it. As the paying hosts, we had an agreement that "Golden" would be taught and performed, as preselected by our daughter. My wife spoke to the owner on the phone a few days before the event to confirm this. Any deviation from that should have been brought to us immediately, not decided without our knowledge. We can go back and forth, but ultimately, we upheld our end of the agreement and paid in full, even though several key parts of your service were not delivered. While you offered future credits, we cannot see a reason to use your services again after this experience. The moments lost cannot be replaced.

Dana, who runs the company, communicated exceptionally well and was fantastic throughout the entire process. I loved collaborating with her on the party details. While it was a bit pricier than hiring other K-pop companies, we felt it was well worth it. Rumi was stunning, and the kids absolutely adored her. At this age, they often wonder if they've met the "real" princess, and there were no doubts here--this was 100% the authentic Rumi. She did their hair and makeup, led them in fun dance games to warm up, and taught them a routine to "Golden." Followed by a cute fashion show with props. Rumi kept their attention the whole time, allowing us parents to chat and enjoy the party. It was a celebration to remember for sure. Thank you guys !
