Unfortunately, only one of the two ordering kiosks was working, and the inventory wasn't up to date. The cookie I wanted was unavailable, so I was asked to make a last-minute choice. Customer service was lacking, and the area behind the counter seemed chaotic. One of the hotbox doors was left open the entire time I was there. Additionally, one side of my cookie box was covered in icing, and I didn't have napkins to clean it up by the time I noticed. It could have been a smoother experience. Cool that there's an order queue monitor and plenty of parking.

We heard about her through our coordinator, and we were very pleased with result. Vicki gave us a one-on-one tasting, and we were able to taste so many flavors, we left with a major sugar high. We went with a multi-layer cake, so we were able to choose multiple flavors. People went back for seconds! Vicki was very friendly and accomodating. She dropped our cake off for us at the venue, ensuring that it was stored at the right temperature until it was time to put it on display for the guests at the reception. We received so many compliments about how gorgeous and tasty the cake was, it was an absolute hit! I would highly recommend Cakes by Vicki. Her prices are extremely reasonable, and she is extremely talented and artistic in her creations!

We found her from a wedding show and after tasting her cake, we kept thinking about it and went back for seconds and even thirds. That said it all! In fact, after meeting with Vicki and tasting all of the flavors, we couldn't narrow down our choices. We had 3 flavors of wedding cake and 2 flavors of groom's cake. For only a 90 person wedding reception!!! No regrets. Delicious. I wish I had some right now. The consultation with Vicki was a collaborative effort and just like what I had imagined, she literally took out a sketch pad and before our very eyes drew our wedding cake. It was better than I had pictured. On the wedding day, it was almost perfect. The only negative I would say is that there were a couple elements of the cake that didn't translate exactly as planned. The cake was supposed to have a corset back like my dress but it had buttons instead. Also there were going to be replicated brooches (also from my dress) but instead the ones on the cake were exactly like the ones from her shop and nothing like the ones I was asked to send her. To the guests, no one would know the difference. To me, it wasn't what we had discussed and was a bit disappointing. The taste, however, was still there.
