The bed still feels brand new 5 years later and the kitchen table is still beautiful/sturdy as ever. Safe to say the quality here goes a long way and you will get your money's worth! The guest service here is unmatched by any other furniture store I've ever been to. From the freshly baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and beverages when you walk in to employees all over the floor eager to help you find what you need or just to say hello. Furniture mall of Kansas is the Four Seasons of furniture stores because they really take care of you, especially at this location! In 2021 I was 8 months pregnant when we were looking for a new bed and I was dire need of some good rest. We got a super fancy mattress that stays cool and an electric frame, still sleep like a baby every single night to this day! Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the gentleman that helped us back then, but he was amazing and made sure we got the best deal for our money adding in two mattress protectors and free delivery. Last year around this time we got rid of our old living room set and I knew this is where I wanted to select the new one. Although, I do have to agree to an extent about the timeliness of the delivery is extensive...I almost hate to say it's worth the wait since these are pieces built to last. I have also snagged a glass bookshelf and a full body mirror to bring the new set together. To the female manager who called the other branches in Topeka and Lee Summit to get a product I saw online that the Olathe location didn't have in stock THANK YOU! I really appreciate your efforts to make it right even after I picked it up and my expectations were not met. I can't say enough great things about this location in particular, but I'll finish by saying If you are in the market for anything furniture this is the place to be! Disclaimer:just have to be REALLY patient for the delivery, may the arrival time be in your favor(:

What a delightful experience! A former customer came into the store asking for her, so she stepped away but requested that her manager, Sarah, assist us. Sarah really went the extra mile. Sarah and Alyea helped us in our decision on the right chair for us, a Lazy-Boy power chair, so comfortable! We checked out and paid for our chair with the help of Anya, who graciously assisted us with all the paperwork, scheduling a delivery, and also accurately making a change in the delivery address. What a wonderful experience. Furniture Mall of Kansas, Olathe, has great quality furniture, and a staff the treated us like family.

My boyfriend had points on his credit card for spending so much money on it. So with the points we got $200 in gift cards so that I could go shopping for hand soaps with it. I was only there for the necessities that I need for the house, and a couple things that I am really wanting I live in Paola and work 6am to 6pm I'm not there to make grief, I'm wanting to get in and out so I can go too bed by 9pm. I go in there I pick everything out, this lady swiped my 4 gift cards 4-5 times each. But, anytime they were swiping the gift cards it was taking the money off the total. They tell me that there machines must be down. I understood that, so they tell me to come back the next day and they were gonna call customer service and figure it out. So I do, I'm waiting behind 2 other customers, the girls at the register had gift cards! They used them no questions, didn't tell them to come back tomorrow. They went through just fine. It's my turn to do the whole checking out my items for the second time. They start swiping away trying to "figure out what's wrong with these specific gift cards." They end up calling customer service again to figure out why it's not working. Now this same lady I had the previous day (she was the one who swiped my card 4-5 times) is telling me that there's no money on these cards and to come back on Friday to go through the same trouble. This lady was pretty much telling me to ask around and make sure they were activated thinking I might've stole them if I'm having this much issues. I confront this lady and tell them, "that's funny, I just came in here yesterday with $200 on these cards ready to purchase my items I chose, I checked them. I come back in and conveniently there's now no money on my cards. Your machine took the money." Of course she's telling me that they'd never do that, questioning me if I was sure that these were activated cards, she ends up calling customer service AGAIN. She ends up telling me to write my email and they're giving me my money back with e-gift cards. Perfect situation, right? You'd be asking yourself why I only gave them 1 star and not 5 because they "took care of the situation" I only got partial money back. They lost 3 loyal customers to this Bath and Body we will not be shopping at this location again. We'll make the effort to drive the extra 10 minutes to get to the Oak Park Mall location. They at least know how to use gift cards, but they did know how because they literally had customers IN FRONT OF ME that used their gift cards without ANY ISSUES. Please take my advice and learn how to look back at transactions so you don't have to call customer service 4 times. Saves ya'll the trouble and hassle. Funny part is, is this lady claimed to be an assistant manager. You'd think somebody in that store would know how to look back at months even years of transactions, just to make sure that the machine didn't take the money. Hope people never have to live through the anxiety and very stressful experience I had to experience with you guys all because no one was willing to look at transactions just to at least make sure somebody is making a mistake in the situation. Might've saved some time.

Once I got to the register I was completely ignored by the cashier who acted as if it was an inconvenience to check out my two items because she was gossiping with another co worker about the people in their neighborhood. I tried to ask several times if I could get two fives in exchange for a 10. Completely ignored that I existed. Just pointed to the pinpad when it was time to pay. The only time she looked at me or said anything to me was giving me my receipt which I then finally got her attention/eye contact and asked for the final time to exchange the bills and she told me that it was too late. Working in retail myself I know she could have easily opened her drawer and exchanged them, completely rude and lazy. Won't be returning to this location. I hope a conversation about customer service is had with this employee. Cashier 340618

I was told someone would call me to schedule and was asked for and made a payment for 50% down on 9/8/22. No one called to schedule the measure appointment. I called back. On this call, I was told that the person I was speaking to had been out of the office the previous day (presumably to explain a lack of communication for the prior week?) and after that bit of derision directed at me for having the gall to call about this, we were able to schedule the measure appointment. The measure was completed - the person was in a HUGE hurry..... so questions were discouraged... I then did not hear back to schedule the actual installation (I know, surprising right?), so.... I called Olathe Glass. I was told the installation would be 10/11/22 between 8:30-10:00. At 8:15 the morning of 10/11 - yes 8:15 AM - I received a call telling me that the glass was not in and had been backordered. Apparently there was no way to know this prior to 15 minutes before the scheduled install. Weird. On this call, I was told that I would receive a call when more information was available to reschedule the installation. I received no additional information concerning estimated delay, etc.... until I received a call to reschedule the installation for 11/2/22. On this call, I was told that it would "probably" be in the afternoon. So, when I asked, to confirm, if it was possible that it would be morning because it didn't seem definitive, I was told, in a most derogatory tone "I apologize that I used the word 'probably'.... it will be in the afternoon." Wow. The installers showed up on 11/2 and did a really nice job. The installers themselves could not have been nicer. It is 11/3/22, the day after the installers were here. I see that Olathe Glass has charged the remaining 50% to my credit card without confirming with me that the job was done to my satisfaction etc... - so it appears that the thing that Olathe Glass does best is getting their money into their bank account FAST! So, long story short - if you can get through the administrative piece of this company, you will get a nice product, but prepare yourself for battle up front.

In the meantime, our cast iron bar stools swiveled into the edge of the bar, causing chips in the main Formica countertop. It finally felt like the right time to make the change. Edan at Midwest Marble and Granite helped me select attractive elements like the sink, faucet, quartz material, and backsplash ceramic tile. Because of her experience as an interior decorator, I really valued her insights. On installation day, I was truly impressed by Jake, Carlos, and the team. They worked tirelessly to remove the old countertops and backsplash and to ensure the heavy new countertops were perfectly aligned and level. I had no idea how physically demanding this work could be. The next day, during backsplash installation, the same praise goes to Patrick, Frank, Eddie, and Austin. They spent hours bending over the counters, meticulously cutting, placing, and grouting ceramic tiles on four walls. That has to be backbreaking, especially for someone as tall as Frank! Midwest Marble and Granite transformed my kitchen with high-quality materials that were expertly installed in a timely and friendly manner. What more could I want?
