    the perfect beach meal!!!

the best owners/ workers. They were so kind and had some of the best poke bowls!! 10/10 DONT SLEEP ON THEM. They also took our photo and put it on the wall , definitely will be coming back everytime I'm in the area!

Hands down the best poke in st. Pete! Pete the owner was so kind and the poke was delicious. They can accommodate gluten and dairy free allergies as well. 10/10 recommend you visit! They just opened up again after the hurricanes last year. Stop by and check them out now!

This is a counter service place where you get to build your own poke bowl. They do limit you on toppings but it was still plenty for me. The tuna was fresh and delicious. Toppings were very fresh as well. It was the perfect proportion healthy lunch. Great location next to Sweet Brewnette right across from the beach. There is seating inside as well as on the small patio. Parking was easy on a weekday, might be tougher on a weekend. I'd recommend!

We ordered Build Your Own Bowl. Very fresh flavors with ginger, cilantro, avocado and delicious seaweed salad! Nice environment to enjoy a bowl and converse by the water. Very clean!

Do yourself a favor and give Mad Beach Poke a try instead of the tourist trap restaurants. We came on a Monday night and there was no wait for service. Pete, who also owns Pete's Poke down the street, was super welcoming and the staff walked us through the Poke menu. At Mad Beach location they also have a limited sushi menu with about 7-8 traditional rolls. All the ingredients were super fresh. My wife and I both ordered Poke bowls with sushi rice as the base along with spicy tuna as the protein. They have lots of mixers (veggies) to choose from - including avocado with no up charge, seaweed salad, plus five sauces to top your bowl off. We also ordered a Mexican roll with tempura shrimp that was delicious. Service was top notch and efficient, less that 10 minutes from walking in the door to eating our food - which is a big plus when you're hangry after a full day at the beach. The inside is very clean with a funky Hawaiian vibe. We sat outside in the courtyard at about 8 pm and there was a pleasant sea breeze blowing. Cool place with good food at reasonable prices. Enjoy!

Brand shiny new, MBP is bright, colorful and clean. A festive tropical decor.

Brand New! just opened this early May '23 is the second culinary offering from Pete of the now famous Pete's Sushi & Poké also located in Madeira Beach. At the traffic light on the corner of 140th Avenue & Gulf Blvd, ground floor of a hi-rise condominium building next to the Sweet Brewnette coffee shop, breakfast/lunch restaurant. With parking in the rear it's Madeira Beaches NEWEST culinary establishment! Specializing in Hawaiian Poké Bowls that are custom made to order individually, they are delicious, nutritious & healthy lunch or evening dinner choice. Pete's offerings are consistently made using the freshest in-house cut veggies and high quality seafood protein options. A simple concept of choosing your base, type of protein and adding from a large selection of great tasting vegetables such as edamame, onion, Jalapeños, ginger, seaweed salad etc, etc, etc. Madbeach Poke offers both clean/quaint indoor air conditioned tables (with a water view!), has a breezy outdoor courtyard sharing with the Sweet Brewnette (they close early afternoon) and carryout options. We stopped in on their second day of operation and were delighted by a fresh & tasty bowl of Poké just as delicious as we've been accustomed to from his staple Pete's Sushi & Poké at 150th & Gulf next to 7/11. The staff is friendly, place is all shiny new and has a cool vibe at its location. Eat in, out in the courtyard or walk out back on the dock and see the harbor... Shown are bowls with a brown rice base, spicy salmon protein and several veggie mix-ins topped with a spicy mayo & sriracha sauce. A hearty fresh bowl is $13 and an excellent healthy, nutritious meal thats also very delicious! As they're brand new the tentative business hours are 11am to 8pm subject to some possible adjustment. Eat Good, Eat Healthy, Eat Poké! If you love Pete's Sushi, you'll love MB Poké!

The perfect hidden gem! I went on Memorial Day around 1pm. I kind of knew what area it was at on across the beach but I accidentally drove past it because I was looking for a sign and didn't notice one. I was able to find parking and there was no wait. I ordered from the counter a "create your own" poke bowl with spicy tuna, a few topping's, and extra spicy mayo...yum! The gentleman making my bowl was very polite. My bowl was delicious and everything tasted pretty fresh! This place has quite a bit of inside and outside seating. It was a bit hot outside but the tables had umbrellas so I was comfortable. I will definitely go back!!

I got the salmon sashimi with maki rolls (it was one of the "specials" listed in the front of the menu) as well as an additional roll. Pros: - VERY fresh fish and authentic sushi! I would not recommend getting baked rolls here - the strength really is in the raw fish. The salmon sashimi was perfect and the cuts were generous for the price. - A very family local feel inside - I legit felt like I was in an auntie's living room - The service was really nice - we got a free slice of matcha cheesecake for spending $50 - delicious hot tea that pairs well with the sushi - People get upset about the "presentation" and the "aesthetic" but really you should be coming for the fish. - Lots of options and combos that are affordable - we left extremely full and didn't feel like we paid a kidney for it. - Easy parking in front during lunch. - Perfect fish to rice ratio in their rolls. They are not stingy with their avocado come for the surprisingly good raw fish at a strip mall!

The plaza it's in is a bit small, but it's on a non busy local street. I came by around 8:45 to pick up mochi donuts. I definitely should have came earlier because I did want to get a drink but it was so close to closing that I didn't want to bother the workers more. As I walked in the employees were already cleaned up and ready for close. Everything was clean and most items were already put away, but they had my order of mochinuts already ready which was awesome. I got 2 matcha, 2 churro, 1 glazed and one strawberry glazed. I was pleasantly surprised on the texture on all of them. Usually when it comes to closing the mochi nuts are a little stale. I was also nervous they'd be oily but they were great! Perfect texture. Chewy and not too sweet. Every mochi donut has the plain batter used to fry then has its own flavored glaze. Strawberry and plain glazed were my favorite. It gave the perfect amount of sweet that I needed. Churro could have had a bit more sugar on it for me and the matcha tasted exactly as it should. If you like your matcha flavor on the stronger side, this is the donut for you. Overall it was a good experience. I'll be sure to come back to try the cheese corn dogs and the boba. I have high hopes!

I enjoy eating Mochi donuts and everytime I try them at a new spot, I always compare to the best ones I've had, in my opinion. We got the chocolate, strawberry and matcha. The consistency and the texture was nice and chewy, but I'm not sure how fresh these were. The frosting, I was not a fan of. I'd prefer more of a glaze as these were messy to eat as the glaze is not hardened. The boba drinks were good though.

Unfortunately they only carry almond milk and whole milk so i wasn't able to get what i wanted.
