Good music, fire cuts, and everyone is chill here. I just moved out here and have been looking for a barber, anyone new to florida go get your cut here. read more

To be honest, I don't usually like calling people out, but I wasn't happy with the haircut Eli gave me today. I did a walk-in, and unfortunately, it didn't come out the way I expected. The fade doesn't look blended, and overall it just wasn't a good experience. I'm sure the other barbers there do great work, and I genuinely wish Eli the best. I know he's a believer, and I hope he continues learning and getting guidance from the more experienced barbers. For now, I'll have to go to another barbershop to get it fixed. God bless him, and I truly hope he keeps improving. read more

My husband came here after deciding that he desperately needed a haircut, and was unable to go to our regular place since it was a Sunday. We had decided to try here as the reviews seemed decent. We were able to schedule an appointment online which we liked and they had same day availability, which was great for this last minute need! When we arrived, my husband went in a few minutes before his appointment, there was no one checking anyone in. There were two people working, a man and woman. My husband's appointment was with the man that was working. There was a walk in that came in about the same time, and the man that was supposed to see my husband took the walk in client. It wasn't until the woman came over to him and asked if he had an appointment that they refreshed their schedule to see that he was supposed to be seen by the man who took the walk-in. The woman offered to then cut his hair instead, which he agreed would be okay. He said that she seemed flustered and unsure most of the time he was in the chair. Leaving, his hair did look a lot better, but there were some areas that were uneven. On the edges of his hair line, some of it was "cleaned up" and had even lines, while other parts were left a little rigid. Overall for a last minute, same day appointment it was okay. We likely won't be returning due to lack of attention to details, appointments and scheduling. read more

Went here after seeing the great reviews and finding they can do coloring. I was able to walk in and be greeted by the receptionist, who introduced me to my hair stylist, Tracy. Tracy asked how I wanted to cut, and did an excellent job with my cut, being precise with the edges and corners, and making sure the side burns were removed. She also provided a great style with my cut. She didn't rush to do the cut, but instead made sure everything was perfect. While the hair coloring wasn't exactly what I thought it would be, it was still done very professionally and gingerly, giving me a darker color. While I was hoping for a pure black hair with the coloring, it was still a nice touch up, and I was able to look younger. The hair cut was 25 dollars and the coloring touch up was 30 dollars. It also included shampoo and conditioner service as well. Overall, was hoping for darker coloring for my care, but still very pleased with the cut and touch up. Definitely will be choosing this shop for my hair cut again. read more

If you book here request T. He does my husband and all my boys. They always leave feeling more confident and my husband looks so handsome. Quick, efficient, expert level quality Barber. read more

There's a Barber that works here that goes by the name T. I am an extremely picky person and he is the only person I let near my head over the past couple years and that says a lot. He is attentive and never fails to give me exactly what I ask for. Also his prices are great and his energy is even better. I'd recommend him to anyone with any texture of hair, he WILL slay guaranteed. read more

So I was a walk-in this morning and the customer service was amazing especially with Gloria. I'm not good with naming certain styles but describing on what I was looking for, Gloria knew exactly what I was looking for. It felt very comfortable with the place as Gloria was working on my hair. I don't trust my hair to anyone but my mom but I see myself coming back here to maintain my hair for work. read more

New management has increased the prices and cut down on the services. Like most hair places, sometimes you get a good haircut, sometimes you don't. read more

Billy was great, he took his time and made sure I was happy with my haircut before I left. Will be back again. Might even see a helicopter while your getting a haircut. read more

Mostly a men's place. A nice alternative to the "cuts" and "clips" chains. Good barbers and stylists with a slightly deeper selection of offerings. Some day I'll get the shave! It's supposed to be a sports setting but it doesn't really deliver in that respect. But the people working there take care of their patrons with a good cut and good service. The prices are a bit higher than the chains but come with a wash so it's totally worth it. Definitely recommend for the locals. read more

Took my toddler today, they were all so patient and kind. Friendly service and a great cut, thanks!

Stopped in w/out an appointment and was taken to the barber chair within just a few minutes. Naomi, my stylist who has 20+ years of experience listened to my needs and took her time. Not an in-and-out 5 minute cut but a really nice haircut. Other than being a little pricey, the service and results were outstanding! read more

Came in without appointment and they took them right away! The boys haircuts are the best I've seen for years and I will be a returning customer. read more

Great spot to get a men's cut. Seth will use a straight edge to do your neck. Angela is pretty solid too. They do free clean-ups in between cuts as well. I'd avoid Wednesdays which I understand are half price cuts for kids though. read more

I passed through town for lunch and decided to get a hair trim. Rosanna trimmed my sides perfectly. Rosanna was very particular and carful to trim as I desired. Rosanna is also a very happy person that brightens your day. read more

Usually good but... Rosanna cut my hair last time it was impeccable. I came today and the person who cut my hair, I think her name was Amy or Amber(blonde mid 20's ish) did a terrible job. I told her to cut a very tiny amount on the top of my hair so I could pull it back like a 50s style quiff. She says she only took a half inch off but my hair was 3.5 inches long and now it is 2 inches. I told her that she cut too much for what I asked for. She only shrugged and and gave a shallow "sorry" and said she wasn't really sure what I was asking for. If she wasn't 100% sure, she should have asked for clarification instead of guessing. They did give me a $5 discount but that does not excuse the fact that I received a terrible haircut. Like I said earlier, I only trust Rosanna as she is a great barber. I will continue to come but only to her. What a real disappointment in service. read more

Seth is the best there. Do not try Louis or you will regret it. He is nice and asks about the tv but man his haircuts are the worst. No blending or any time of fading. Waste of money for sure. If you don't get Seth, i suggest skipping Louis. read more

I did not like my cut at all I went here and this lady named Angela did terrible, I told her to not cut the top at all and she said alright, and guess what she does, she cuts it. I was trying to grow out my hair and when she cut it she made it basically like a baby Mohawk. That's not even the problem she didn't even do my edge. So if you're trying to look fresh don't go to Angela. I don't know how the other barbers cut so I can't really say the place is bad but just don't go to Angela. read more

I had a amazing experience at Avalon All Star Cuts! Got a great cut and walked right in, no appointment, minimal wait time. Seth cut my hair. He was quick and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. I like making small talk so I was appreciative that he got that right away. He was actually speaking to me like he cared what I was saying; What a Concept ? haha Loved that I was able to watch my favorite channeI while getting my hair cut. Oh.....the massage at the end of my visit was great! If you need to get a good hair cut I definitely recommend. Fast, and Affordable :-) read more

I have been seeing the same person here for years and have always been happy (5 star haircuts). Unfortunately, I can't say the same for those answering the phones lately. The last time I called I was placed on hold, but the person never hit the hold button.. I then sat there and listened to this person talk to another employee about personal life for five minutes until I hung up and called again. This same person answered, and didn't even realize what they had done. The person answering the phone could not complete the registration in the computer so she repeated everything I told her to another employee to input in the computer to schedule my appointment. read more

I have never been more compelled to create a Yelp account to warn other people of color about this shop. Perhaps it was the barber, but I'm 23 and walked out of that barbershop with the hairline of an 80-year-old. Something as simple as an edge up and tightening up my hairstyle (high top fade) was not properly accomplished by any means. The barbers will attempt to distract you with conversation and even cutting on a television, but I would have simply prefered being turned down due to a lack of experience with black hairstyles than the result I got. Walking to the receptionist to pay for the cut was the most embarrassing reveal of character, they'll smile in your face and not feel even an ounce of guilt for the service. Walking out of the barbershop and looking in the mirror gave me the most disappointed feeling I've had in a while... but they'll wash your hair if you want, so that's cool right. PoC should simply avoid this place. read more
