I moved to Laredo from Houston and I have always loved shopping g at Kohl's but I do NOT like this…read morelocation. When I walked in I see one of the employees gossiping with a customer, very unprofessional. Also, in Houston/Humble locations we were allowed to use multiple coupons per transaction here for some reason that is not the case. When I left i also noticed that I was only $3 away from an additional $10 kohl's cash which the cashier could have mentioned, gladly I would have spent that additional amount to earn more Kohl's cash. Just purely disappointed. Will NOT be shopping in store anymore.

I placed an online order on a Monday evening. Their website was good, and their selection was…read moreadequate. That's one star. My credit card was billed immediately and I received the "order confirmation" email. Tuesday morning I called to ask about other sizes that weren't shown on the website, and they discovered they actually didn't even have the size I originally ordered. Solution: the supplier has one of the other sizes I asked about, so they would get the order underway, and let me know about shipping that day. Later that day, no word from Kelly's. I called, they said sorry, we got the new size from the supplier, it'll be shipped soon. Checked back Wednesday afternoon... the new order will be shipped today. Checked back before end of business hours... the order will be shipped "today," and I would get an email with a tracking number either immediately or Thursday morning. Checked back Thursday afternoon... this item was actually unavailable as well, even after they said it would already be shipped. Asked for money back, was told "yes no problem", and as of the following morning as I write this, I do not see the reversed charge yet, but I can only assume that this is something they will not screw up. After all of this, I got two things from Kelly's: the confirmation email, and that Thursday afternoon phone call, which was only made after I asked in an email for them to call if they were not going to have a tracking number for me. The rest of all of the dialogue and information was prompted by me calling the shop. To be fair, the supplier's problems on that backup order, if that's what was actually happening, were not Kelly's problems, and that would be on the supplier. Also, Kelly's website does say that they may take up to four business days to process an order, which I should have caught. But that is unacceptable if it is the type of place that can and will charge a credit card immediately. Overall, the lack of any more stars is because of terrible communication, and only slightly better customer service.

The service was so good that even their very own staff was surprised by the service we received. Thank god for that salesperson. Sorry I don't remember your name to give you the credit you deserve but you made us a return customer. Check it out Laredoans. My brother had given my sister in law some money to look for a pair of boots on Saturday that turned into a horrific experience after visiting several western stores in Laredo. To make matters worse her shopping experience ended terribly. Not only she couldn't find the right pair of boots she ended up settling for an outfit to only find out her card was denied. Turns out there was suspicious activity on her account and the bank seized her account till she was able to clear this issue up(thanx for looking out wells fargo). The sales rep told her they could hold it for her to come back and let anyone know that they were holding an outfit for her.This is were the cool part comes in. It was Tuesday until this mess was cleared up. I show up to pay for the outfit and the staff on duty gave me hassle saying that the longest they hold items was for a day but someone out of no where heard the name and asked me to wait a minute. He comes out from the back with her outfit and the rest of the staff was in shock. They tried to apologize saying they normally don't hold items that long, but by that time I just ignored them and dealt with that employee that understands customer service. Once again I really wished I remembered your name to give you the credit you deserve, but till next time keep offering that excellent service you offered which made us a return customer.

On a serious note this is a very nice store.

The reason behind my low rating review is having to do with defective pants that were not adequate…read moreto the size that was marked on them. Sadly since I never had an issue with 5.11 gear I took it upon my self to just throw away the tags and wash them and wear them another day. The only thing I kept was my receipt for my financial records. When I wore them one day they did not fit like my other 5.11 pants that were the same model. When I went back to the store to ask for an exchange the customer service male employee stated that the 5.11 policy is not to exchange them even though I had my receipt. After spending hundreds of dollars on 5.11 gear and never having an issue when it comes time to have some customer service support I get shot down. I suggest to current and future customers to be careful, try on and throughly inspect your equipment before shopping at the local 5.11 store or risk losing money for defective items. I contacted the 5.11 customer support number and even they stated that I should have gotten the exchange since I had the receipt. I will wait for the final feedback from corporate and see if I can resolve my issue through them.
