Well it got to dinner time and curry seemed like a good idea so off we set. There is a wide selection on the menu but I really fancied paneer so that was an obvious starter choice. Then I opted for the chicken jaipuiri with a nan. Oh and a mint lassi which was delicious! Quick service and by the end we were stuffed. Only slight gripe was the difficulty we had in getting the bill at the end but other than that everything was tasty and enjoyable. It was busy when we were in but the food was quick to the table. Just as well as I was starving! I'll add this to the list of good curry venues in Glasgow, and I'll definitely have to get off the bus again to come back!

They do a number of speciality dishes but I opted for the chicken tikka hallumi, very nice and reasonably priced, the good thing is they also have a desk for takeaway food if your just looking to get a carry out. A note though is that they don't serve alcohol in here so don't do what I did and go expecting to have a pint with your dinner - this is the only reason I'll give it 4 stars as it won't cater to everyone, but in terms of the food I can't fault it.

They aren't reinventing the wheel, their dishes are just plain tasty. Our starters -- Marinated Olives (£4) & Chicken Skewers with lime & coconut yoghurt (£7) -- prepped our palates for richer courses to follow. Our side of Onion Rings (£5) was coated in a light, airy beer batter. To add to the festival of fried foods, I chose Fish & Chips (£19) as my main which had the same beer battered coating. Flakey cod paired well with the tangy tartar sauce. I only wish it was served with more traditional mushy peas instead of the one-noted crushed peas. BF also enjoyed his order; Filet (£37) was tender, flavorful, & well seasoned. For dessert, I had one of many Sticky Toffee Puddings (£7) ordered on our trip through Ireland & Scotland, as well as a Chocolate & Strawberry Eclair (£8) which I thought was the most creative dish of our meal. Modern ambiance & friendly service, though I think the staff were overwhelmed with catering to a larger party. May have to bring your patience, but at least the food is worth the wait.

The baba ghanoush was different and seems to be a deconstructed salad rather than what I've had elsewhere. The hummus was good. The grilled lamb and chicken kebab was quite small portions but very tasty. The bread was good. Overall not epic but a place I would not hesitate to return to.

I can't believe this place doesn't have a constant que to get in I placed my order for a mixed grill. I'm always a sucker for mixed sat down with images of kebabs and shawarma dancing in my head. I was settled in and ready to wait. The owner asked if I had been before and how I found the place. We chatted for a bit then he went to the kitchen and popped out with what he called a snack. To me it looked the size of a starter. Hummus, baba ghanouj, and something called a rabbi salad I think. They were all very good the entire time I was there everyone was very friendly and chatty much different that I usually get when I order take away On to the mixed grill I almost forgot I was waiting for food. The portion was insane easily enough for 2-3 people. There was lamb and chicken in various forms some ribs and kebabs and wings. All amazing the rice and bread were cooked perfect. Sadly I have to admit due to the large portion I didn't try the salad I had to prioritise what I shoved in my face. Perhaps I'll give that a go later after a burn off some calories I didn't look at much else on the menu but I did hear someone order a falafel wrap and it was only 3 pounds

Its done up in very funky colours with comfortable tables, cushion cubes and seats /booths to be had. Their speciality is ice creams and deserts as you might imagine with the name! It is also quite big on the inside, it looks quite small from outside and i was surprised at how open and well done up it was inside. They have quite an extensive range of ice creams, waffles, cakes and sweet treats. I've been a couple of times now and have not been disappointed. Usually i get an ice cream sundae and its either smaller than i would like or just a range of lack lustre ice creams thrown in smothered in sauce. Not this place! First of all don't order two of these to try them out....they are huge! They have many flavours and types such as the caramel banana boat and the knicker-bocker glory. They are, in a word, immense. Tasty quality ice cream and ingredients, they also use fresh fruit in some of their ones as well as waffles, cakes, desserts and protein shakes. Its delicious, terribly fattening and bad for you.....excellent!!! They also havea range of tea, coffee and juices if your not for expanding your waistline on a visit as well. Staff are friendly and welcoming, happy to have a chat and talk about the menu as well. Great wee place!
